- -The MBRP axle back is a new exhaust that was brought to the Kia Forte market a few months ago, and I was able to get one recently. I couldn't wait to show you all! Please let me know if you have any questions about the exhaust. It was purchased from Panda Motorworks. It has a fantastic tone, not crazy drone, and burbles on deceleration.

Just bought a 2022 forte gt manual tranny in white pearl two days ago. ♠️
Previous owner already wrapped the roof in black and the Kia wheels are blacked out too. Also they deleted all the Kia/forte/gt insignia on the hood and trunk. Love it.

I've watched this vid so many times! I think this exhaust sounds better than most I've seen/heard on yt. I have a SXTH Element intercooler resonator plug and a Racechip S coming and I cannot wait! I think the exhaust will be the next thing for sure.

Just got a 24 GT. Can’t wait to either buy this system, or have a custom one made. My friend has a buddy who does custom exhausts here in Mass, and maybe I can get him to draw something up for me

It was between this and the Evilla for me but in the end I think I’m going for the Evilla sport series. This one is really good but Evilla makes it feel a little more unique. Just a tad

Thank you for uploading this! I was actually deciding between this and x force but this video gave me a better idea and i will be going for this soon!! I have a 24 Forte GT and a 22 Kia stinger GT2 but tbh I love the sound of my forte better than my stinger. such a funn and nicee daily!

@@anthonysimmet5904 Yes I have warranty with my car, this should not void your warranty (since this does not mess with anything from the engine or transmission). The only thing is some dealers might make it a hard time, but theres no way this would void anything
my axle back is coming in the 9th, excited to hear the tone coming from your forte. im running the xforce catted downpipe and xforce midpipe, cant wait to hear how it sounds!

Just bought a 20 gt2 i love the exhuast will mt dct pop and burble as loud as yours i see u have a 6mt. But congrats on the exhuast install it sounds phenomenal

So I have a DCT will it burble more or less than you when I let off the throttle or does it fart instead? Also how much louder is it than the stock. Ur content is great btw!!
Thank you!! And it will burble about the same as my manual GT and yours will fart louder through shifts as well. Trust me, as the exhaust breaks in, it just gets better and better! And even louder through time but nothing unbearable
How much louder is this exhaust over stock? I like the tone and volume level of the stock exhaust but I want something with more bass and alittle louder than stock.
If you're looking for more bass and a bit louder, this is the exhaust for you. Its perfect and exactly what I was looking for too. The two resonators in place of the one big muffler (like other companies make) makes the different tone on the MBRP. There is tiny drone sometimes but it's fine to deal with occasionally. The burbles happen quite often as well
Can I have this on my 2021 forte gt? if not, what other exhaust do you recommend to sound like this?
@@sangjunkwak4917 it won’t fit because the 2021 has a round cutout instead of the wider ones in the 2023, but I believe you can put different tips on the MBRP and then it could fit your 2021. There is also Evilla Axle back that’s great too
Seen you in the forte Gt Reddit, have the same car and color. Can’t wait for spring time to get the MBRP exhaust. Was wondering if it’s noticeably different in cabin sound. Also does it burble on downshifts and when slowing down?

Glad to see another redditor! It definitely is noticeably different in cabin sound (significant with sport mode since it’s combining the active sound). It burbles a LOT during downshifts and slowing down. It’s probably my favorite part of this exhaust. It’s definitely worth it!
I have the 2021 forte gt. I'm thinking about getting the xforce varex exhaust. I think it might sound a bit louder than the one you have. Sounds good, doe 👌

So the setup was remove the stock exhaust and install mbrp axle back?? No resonator delete or midpipe delete?
Correct! Simple mod and super effective. I wouldn't have it any other way
I just installed mine but noticed that it hangs slightly lower in the passenger side, does yours hang evenly or same as mine????
Mine hangs the same, maybe its the way the tips are adjusted on yours?
@PetrolJuice yea, I think i might have to loosen all nuts/bolts and adjust to my liking and then tighten it all back to hopefully get it even. 🙏 we shall see, but I love how it sounds ❤️ 😍
Would this fit on a base model Kia forte 2024? It should right cause they’re the same thing, the gt just has more power?
Unfortunately it wont fit since the GT has a complete different motor and exhaust layout. The GT has a 1.6L turbo engine, all other fortes have a 2.0L naturally aspirated engine
does this vibrate the car any different then stock cus i just bought it and was wondering if mine was just installed wrong
Yes, you will feel a little more vibrations due to the low frequency of the exhaust sound/note. Completely normal.
Im thinking of this and a catted dp and reso delete.

yo, what is that green figure on the dash that keeps popping up? I haven't seen that on my '24 GT.
If you mean the numbers that pop up, thats the car suggesting when to upshift for optimal MPGs. I believe it only comes in the manuals
I really want this exhaust but not sure if it fits on the 21 gt
It should fit but the only thing that won’t are the tips. You would have to get tips that fit the 21 GT

Not sure about the decibel numbers, but it is definitely louder than stock. Everyone will notice

It's not bad at all. It's badass. I have the same axle back age just did a resonator and 2nd cat delete. It sounds amazing, and surprisingly, no more done than just the axle back at speed and on the highways/freeways. Trust, I was super worried, but decided to take the chance. It's sweet af!

@PetrolJuice I will try to get one as soon as I can. It will most likely be on the ForteGT Reddit, as I see you are in there, as well.
On deceleration, there are no loud obnoxious pops, just a very low rumbling gurgle with minor little low pops with it, esp downshifting to third and second. The same goes for shifting up in between gears.
You will not regret doing it, I assure you. I was very worried, but took the chance.
My wife and I overheard some guys in a parking lot the other day say, "Gawd that sounds sick af." We had the rear windows half down and overheard them. It sounds mean af, and not much more drone, if any, than just the MBRP itself was at speed...
