    Im 38, my mom used to feed us coffee with toast for breakfast before the school bus picks us up. The withdrawals over the years has halted my attempts at quitting. Now im attempting again and this time i do feel i can do it. I picked up a terrible case of flu and slepted 3 syraight days and layed around lethergic 5 days. At the end of my sickness i realize i had headache because there no coffee all 6 days. Im going with the flow. Yesterday took an easy 2 hour nap and felt awesome. Didnt feel the need to do extra things for the day, just chilledbat home and saved money and watched movies. Then what surprised me after i took a 2 hour nap that ended at 4pm, was i was ready to easily sleep again at 830pm. I slepted from 830 until 445 pm. I like the full sleep i never got before

    good luck! I have been struggling as well with fatigue the past 8 months. It's been tough. Slowly getting better and hoping to soon be starting running again. I will be looking forward to your updates! It would be great to you making a video about the supplements you took? Without mentioning the "bug" in question. I personally would be very interested.

    Sounds like a great challenge. Good luck with the training! I had similar symptoms a couple years ago and I ended up getting treated for Lymes Disease and my symptoms went away. I do find the occasional tick on me from trail running.

      I was all clear for Lymes, but symptoms were very similar.

    It's great that you are feeling better. But, be careful giving the impression that there is a way to recover from post-viral fatigue, as it may not work for everyone, and some research is showing that forcing yourself to exercise when chronically fatigued can do even more damage. That said, I would looooove to have more energy!!!

    People sale coffe in coffe shop they not drink coffe , they knew the side effect also who produced coffe and sale are not consumer the coffe , drug dealers not used drugs just sale .     i'm 5 days in! Working fulltime, boxing every day and trying to smash more water and drinking decaf tea. I don't even see the point now of decaf coffee..after being (like everyone) obsessed with coffee. I'm addicted to anti caffeine videos right now. They keep me motivated... so thanks!

    I've quit coffee/tea, apart from the occasional decaff and have switched to Rooibos and Chicory, which I really enjoy. My nemesis is chocolate though. I really struggle with ditching it!

    10 days in and I feel great, never going back, first 5 days were rough but totally worth it. I did miss the coffee flavour though so Im now on the decaff, got some decent grounds and it’s actually not too bad.

    I am on day 10 of quitting coffee, using Teeccino herbal coffee but oh my gosh I cheated and and added some coffee to my drink because. . . quitting is hard

    Hi Craig I watched your 100mile and 300mile videos toinght this was a great effort. I then watched this video and the same thing happened to me. After training distance and racing ultras I woke up one day and overnight I could not physicaly do anything anymore. I went from jogging sub 3hr marathon to not mamaging 1 mile. It got worse over 9 months. My symptoms then eased leaving only pain in my legs and stiff quads. I had to give up everything and felt at a loss also. In the end I spent 7 years boxing coaching to keep occupied. Its been 9 years and only now its recovering. Im back doing parkruns only not at a great pace. I was even thinking about running an ultra only i kind of realise i may get to the end but it may bring back severe consequeces. Definatley over training / competing beyond your abilities is very dangerous. But as you say do it while you can. Now im going on a walking holiday to nepal slightly ashamed its not a running holiday. Good luck with new channel. You can do more amazing great things.

    Well that was tough to hear, as I know how much it all means to you. But I do believe after watching you and being a part of this channel, that if someone has the ability to make change, that you can. as quickly as all these things have changed to the state they have become now, I am sure that it can also be the flip of it all. It may take time, you may not be the person that you identify yourself with, but as I said, if the inner Craig remains resolute, I have no doubt that you will come out strong. But just as in any training to learn something, it does not happen in a snap of a finger unfortunately, it takes perseverance, but keep hope as that will help. Stat Strong Craig, look forward to meeting up one day.
