The raw rendering is better in C1, especially in skin colors. With C1 I get good flesh tone easily, whereas in LR I go to the cmyk curves and adjust the colors.

The EVF is the zacuto`s z finder?
Yes, the old school one, first gen. Thank you for watching.
I have a trouble using a7iii in lowlight with av mode. It lower the shutter to 1/10 since it was set with l/125 and yes blurred always. Can u give any advice with this.?
What is your ISO? 1/10 is slow for action and hand holding your camera, so I would expect it was blurring. If your ISO is not set to Auto, the shutter speed will drop no matter what you have it set at in the menu.
I would blame tilta for the cage/baseplate issue. While they make great products, they have a lot of proprietary parts that make it impossible (or really annoying) to use with some other brands.
Thanks for the heads up, and I agree about Tilta, and some of these other companies making parts that really only work with their systems.
Your video on tips for using Capture One was incredibly insightful! I appreciate the clear explanations and practical advice you provided. Looking forward to implementing these tips in my own workflow. Keep up the great work! Snoogins.
Thank you for watching!
Genius!
Thank you for watching.
Great video! I just did the same thing - I traded my B1’s for a D4 pack since my projects have been more studio than location lately, and the recessed tube of the B1’s wasn’t optimal for larger modifiers. I kept by B2’s and have a Bron Move pack for location work still, which has been plenty for me.
Thank you for watching. Sounds like you have a great system there.
Lighting is such a crucial element in photography and videography, and your video does an excellent job of highlighting its importance and demonstrating how different lighting setups can completely transform a scene. Your explanations are clear, and the visual examples you provide really drive home the impact that proper lighting can have on the overall look and feel of an image or video. This video is a valuable resource for anyone looking to improve their lighting skills.
Thank you for watching!
I know it's petty, but it's (mol-lee) MOLLE. It's an acronym for "Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment". Just sayin'

Now I remember why I put C1 away. This is so dumb...
You will be shocked how many people tell me about work arounds, when there is such an easy fix.
Thank you Saul Goodman!
You are very welcome
Good video; I subscribed to your channel. However, while the AI masking in Lightroom Classic works very well in general and when creating a mask underneath a mask, the same can be achieved in capturing one, too. You need to create a new adjustment layer and do whatever you want by choosing one of the possibilities: linear-gradient, circular gradient, AI, etc. If you need one more re-touching, add another adjustment layer. The previous masks won't be affected, and the effect will add up. (although a good photo shouldn't need any -or almost any - post-editing, as we all know). I prefer to capture one for the workflow, the compact interface, which is easy to navigate, organizing photos, and the metadata editing panel (I don't do any tethering, being just an amateur photographer).
Thank you for watching!
What do you think about "Photo Grade"? Excellent video btw....
Thank you for watching.

A bit late to comment, and while it's great that you posted this additional information, it's difficult to resist commenting on your comments on how complicated you feel C1 has made adjusting multiple images in the viewer. Which is made easy by using the C1 speed edit key option, which is one of C1's best and easiest to use features. You comments and holding down keys and standing on your head to find a solution, is, I think, a little misleading in terms of how efficient it is to use the speed editing keys, if this was what you were referring to. I like the C1 logic when multiple images are selected, but, linked to this is that I also think the speed edit keys are a tremendous time saver, which I regularly use. I am aware of some new C1 users saying the speed edit key function was the principal reason for switching to C1. And, I find it easy and intuitive to follow the C1 logic, and practice, in how this works for the situation you describe. With multiple images in the viewer, the speed edit keys affect all images and the sliders affect the selected image. This means, for example, if one the four images is slightly underexposed, I can use the sliders to match it to the other three images, and then use the speed edit key (hold down the Q key and use the mouse, tablet or arrow keys) to adjust all four images in synch. As an aside, I like dragging the curve tool out from the tool panel and going full screen with the image , and then using the speed edit keys and the floating curve tool to do distraction free editing. C1 has a few things like this that you need to learn, but once learned, turn out to be very useful. e.g. things like the copy and paste options are a bit confusing at first, but once you learn the different options, you can considerably speed up your workflow by using the correct copy and paste option. This is both the strength and weakness of C1. If you take the time to learn it, and use it every day so you don't forget how it works, the C1 workflow can be incredibly fast and "intuitive", because you get used to it.
Thank you for watching.
Tether in Lightroom I think is a problem on Mac overall, I have tested on a M1 Pro 14 inch MacBook Pro and a 2019 16 inch MacBook Pro with both Nikon and Canon and for the most part they won't work, but as soon as I try on a Windows Laptop the cameras connect right away.
Thank you for watching.
Your use of Capture One is exceptional! The way you manipulate light and color to create such striking images truly sets you apart.
Such kind and well thought out woods my friend.
I have just tried this and I get it.. it works fantastic cheers
So happy that it helped. All the best.
so many gems. I started using Capture One and I have been trying to wrap my mind around how to use the sessions vs catalog and your comment about not using the browser and just switching between the two views using the G key.... 🤯
So happy to hear that helped. Thank you for watching, and please share. I think this video will help a lot of people, but the algorithm is not great to me right now. All the best.
I've tried both apps in the past few days, and AI noise removing in Lightroom blows my mind, way better than Capture One in my opinion.
The AI from Adobe is fantastic to be sure.
Many thanks for this great video. I have the NEEWER softbox and beauty dish. GOD bless you.
Thank you for watching.
I'm shooting a Canon R3 and R5 and I'm so frustrated with the reliability of their tethering in lightroom (sometimes it works, sometimes it works for a while, sometimes not at all, sometimes the work around works and sometimes not even that. It practically requires a designated half-hour before the shoot feeling the pressure hoping that tethering will work and stay working all the way through the shoot). I'm trying to learn the library and sorting system on capture one simply to have a reliable solution for my corporate headshot work. I've wasted SO MUCH time trying to solve tethering on Lightroom. Get your act together Adobe! Ps, thank you for this video.
Thank you for watching.
Number 1 thing Lightroom should do immediately that's so embarrassing that it doesn't exist, is to let us use the whole functionality when creating a mask. Why don't I have access to all the tools when editing a mask??? Are you even serious?
I agree totally. But I think these are features are coming. And that is not code, I have no clue, but I can't imagine that Adobe can't include these features in the next release.
@@PhotoKitchen425 Maybe. But what makes you so sure? This is something they should /could have done from the first release that contained masks, and yet, so many years down the road and we still have limited tools for masks
Adobe’s lack of tethering support is ABYSMAL. NO excuse
I couldn't agree more.
That pack definitely gets me aroused in more ways than one!
The answer: Absolutely whatever you would like - even with ice axes ;) Thanks!
In the history of packs, how many ice axe loops have even been used for the transportation of ice axes?
Awesome info
Thank you for watching
Do you ever use the “cull” feature in C1?
Not yet, I have found it a bit clunky to be honest. But I should give it another shot. I have never ben a person to use the idea of group images by time taken. I find the way I work, and others I assist, that a time variable or sequence is not a major factor in the culling.
Just when I think that I know it all, you hit me with something that I didn't know was even possible!
Thank you, so happy to help.
Is there a way to export the Survey Image with image names so clients can select? Thank you!
You could do a Contact Sheet out of the Print Module, or just rate those images, and export those rated images to a folder for the client.
It’s pronounced Mol-lee homie… sorry it bothered my military ears 😂…. Good video though.
Thanks for watching.
Brilliant video, hit the nail on the head on some questions i've had about getting a Pelican 1510 with the molle attachment AND paired with the medium CRD bags. The lid light was not something i'd even considered til now so thank you for getting me onto that. Hopefully i can get it to mount properly with the molle attachment. Thanks bud!
Thank you for watching, and happy to help. You will need to get longer screws to mount the Lid Light, but it will work. Mention my name is you buy one!
This is really a cool detailed video that got me subscribed 😊 It feels like a great, honest, insight from a professional I would love to see your detailed workflow, files structures, naming conventions, backup tasks and how are they structured, software and various tools used etc.
Thank you for your suggestions, and I will put it on the list. I will say these are not "crow pleasing" topics, but I feel like they are huge to being a professional shooter. Thank you for watching.
Simple answer. Mola makes by far the best BDs
Thanks for watching.
Enjoyed this. Very useful. Thanks
Glad it was helpful!
Some good ideas. I'm new to this but like to run my FX3 in minimal form, when I can. For a w/a there is merit in having a Sony PZ16-35 f4 lens. It's tiny, relatively affordable supports AF, super sharp (compared well to my GM mk1 16-35mm, albeit 1 stop less). I sold my GM but may buy new GM mkii (smaller, lightrr, sharper at 35mm end than original GM mki). I like to use the Sony audio handle when I can (IMO a key reason for owning a FX3). I also use SmallRig extension handle and top plate for better ergonomics and strength. I dont like dummy batts (many reasons) so use a USB-c to USB-c to juice the Sony OEM battery. I'm currently struggling with a good shkulder mounted rig approach - specifically a good reasonably priced, practical eye-cup monitor/EVF that's viewable when shoulder mounted, whildt still permitting full/easy control of manual focus, zoom etc. Any thoughts?
Thank you for watching. I don't have any affordable rigs that I can recommend, but I would look at Tilta, or Small Rig for options. Zacuto is amazing, but super pricey. As to EVF, you have less options, and Zacuto's is very expensive.
This needs a revisit now that capture one will copy ai masks without having to make a preset
Thank you for watching. I did do a follow up video about that very thing! th-cam.com/video/87A4kWG0B0I/w-d-xo.html
Printing from Lightroom and photoshop please, I had images come out it’s only part of it showing or not in right position on the media. I have wasted a lot of ink, help!
I don't use Lightroom or Lightroom Classic to print, only Photoshop. Make sure you are going through the print dialog, include "Page Setup" to have the correct size media and position selected.
Do you have a printing video? I struggle with printing from Lightroom
I don't, but that is a great idea for a future topic.
I have zero experience because I tried it but when move the cursor on the image it displays a stop sign so I can’t edit. Is that because I have to a layer to work on to protect the original image? If I am right it is because of your tutorial so thank you.
What tool do you have selected when you are trying to work on the layer? Most tools do not work on Smart objects, but you can make a new layer and do the work on that layer.
Great video, I never knew any of this 👍
Glad I could help, and thank you for watching.
I had to stop the vid at just 3:50. It seems that you want the developers to make LR more complicated than it is. I like it just fine and will continue to use if as it fits my needs just fine. Also, I shoot in studio tethered into LR and have zero issues with it in that regard. I shoot with Nikon bodies with no issues at all. Perhaps your issues with tethering are specific to your camera body. Who knows. I'll just keep clicking away on my Nikon DSLRs happily and contently.
Thanks for watching!
I recommend using 3M one wrap Velcro to secure molle stuff onto the lid organizer. Works better to secure things and it allows for more flexibility with customization
Thank you for the tip, and thank you for watching!!
