Why Are The Texas Rangers Suddenly Good?
I remember being around 4 years old when my parents brought me to "Twins Fest" and while i was there among many other things David Ortiz got on a knee and underhanded a couple balls to me. Truly a great guy, hated to see him leave but always wanted him to win.
He was never the same pitcher after he blew the save in game 7 of the 2001 World Series.
Don't even need to watch the video PEDs is how.
One of the most beautiful breaking pitches ive ever seen. Loved watching him pitch.
Fernando tatis jr didn’t use them to make his performance better
God, we need him now. I don't think Yankee fans, like myself, realized watching big games with no MO.
It's sad that the demons consumed him again. It's just the second he touches alcohol the addiction consumes him.
1:09 why are they wearing a hat from licey? From LIDOM
Where did Tim dissappear too? Still wondering
As a kid this dude was top notch. I was comparing him to pujols and the arods
TH-cam comments are becoming tmz or espn when they used to allow comments.
He started doing bad when he grew his hair long. When it was short he dominated. Pretty obvious.
Big time Timmy Jim
Channel is so underrated bro
As a Rangers fan i hated seeing him in that world series but as someone who loved watching that man play, it was a treat to be in the stands for both games he pitched that series.
Without the personal demons josh Hamilton could’ve 100% ended up being a 1st ballet hall of famer he was that good but it didn’t happen that way sadly
you can never trust a dopper.
As an A’s fan, I watched the giants just because of their pitchers. Tim played a full career and many awards. He just was done.
I remember this kid so many years back I don't watch a lot of basketball but when you are good like him even if you don't watch it you hear about them good players.
You could stop the video at 7 minutes and Timmy would still be a GIANTS great. Everything after the fact was just the cherry on top with him.
Why do you end every sentence like a creaking door?
Crackheads gonna be crackheads.
He spanked his daughter because she was being a brat. Period.
Big Papi will always be my favorite all time red sock :)
It must've been the hair. When he was killing it with the giants
I agree there is No Guarantees in Life: Lincecolm played his best which is all a person can ask for !!!
Definitely loved his pitching form I think long hair tim was crazy
He still had a great run. Respect!🫡
I really liked this story, I’ve been wondering what ever happened to him , thanks for the great content!👍👍
I'm not a baseball fan, but my wife is a Giants fan. But, I wood watch when Lincecum pitched. That 148 pitch no-hitter. I literally stood those last few innings. Epic.
I have been there and done both the drugs and the alcohol, heavily. I am thankful that there is a God in heaven that loves me and delivered me from both. Clean since the last day of June 1990. Now 69 years old and doing very well. Praise the Lord !!!
Congratulations! God Bless😁
@@HYP3XXIII Thank you and God Bless you !!! Have a Blessed 2025.
Sad !!
So it's clickbait. He didn't "disappear", just got injured and was forced to retire.
Being a hopeless drug addict will do that
He threw 2 pitches. A fastball and a cutter.
That’s the biggest bullshit ever. Who fires the person who gave them 2 1/2 championships? Corporate greed sucks
Does nobody remember that he was the guy that tossed a ball into the stands and a father that was sitting with his young son reached out for the ball and fell to his death....in front of his son. MLB somehow has erased this story.
Now wtf does this have to do with anything??? Like if he knew that was ganna happen right,? Your a moron for even bringing this up
Why would MLB wanna keep bringing this up? Idiot!!
Did you watch the video..?
it was in the video, seems like you didn't watch. that comment was unnecessary. obviously MLB wouldn't want to be reminded of that
Growing up as an astros&rangers fan, god I loved Hamilton so much. Collected his cards, made sure to watch/listen to all of his at bats it felt like. Hell I even watched him in 2015 when he was in AAA with the Round Rock Express (I lived 5 mins away from the stadium). Was devastated when he went to LA, and even moreso watch his career decline as he struggled. What could've been.
LA is probably the worst place for an addict with money.
During his play years with the Angels, I was around Josh and making comment on sports channels. It was clear the guy was troubled and screwed up. He is one of several players that I personally knew who ended a promising career due to substance abuse. During my early play years, my team mate was given an outrageous bonus signing with the Dodgers. He was to play AAA for one year then move up to the Bigs. He never made it past the Salt Lake City Bee's. He was blown away on drugs and blew most of the money. The Dodgers released him and sued him for damages (His bonus money). He disappeared and I haven't heard from him in over 50 years. I knew Bobby Bonds and George Foster. Both were good friends. Bobby was an alcoholic and George did drugs. Bobby died young. The Giants traded George because of substance abuse. He cleaned up his act and had a couple of killer years with the Reds. We can go on and on with this. Drugs and alcohol abuse among top athletes isn't uncommon. Many are coddled at a young age because they are superior to most other kids. They are destined for greatness. Some can't handle their fame, the money, the women trying to capture them, the media, pressure to perform, etc. When faced with reality of life, they often can't handle it because others have protected them and kissed their ass for many years. There are few people like Juan Soto and Mike Trout who are great guys and can handle the pressure. I don't know what Josh is doing these days but I wish him and his family well. I think his wife divorced him. I'm not sure. I hope not.
I somehow remember the name; just not the jersey number. Cool video!
was your video stolen by Baseball Historian?
nah haha it was just a weird coincidence, he was probably working on that video for weeks before
2025 NL MVP......Tatis!!!! Count it!. Suck it Shohei and Soto!!
Addiction is a disease. It takes daily maintenance to keep it under control. I know!
Who ever did this story definitely know nothing about baseball this made me lmfao look at his stats and learn something he was junk one of the best hitter lmfao
I love this channel, you're doing a great job. Do a video on the career of Adam Dunn, should be a good one 🙏🏽

Took forever to get to the core of the story. You're ready for primetime gibberish programming. Maybe an ESPN job.
Just like Rick James said, cocaine is a helluva drug!
Unfortanely satan took over his life . He was a great ball player . Addiction is such serious problem and needs to be addressed .
The old bait and switch.
