I had not watched Bluey up until this episode, my wife kept telling me to watch it with my girls and that I would really like it, eventually I found the time to sit with them and watch it, I can't remember the last time a children's show or any show made me so emotional, so many things hit home in this episode.

It is possible you did have an oracle moment in this video but I will not tell you why. “My vampire thingie is indicating high levels of vampire junk in this direction.” I love the dialogue in this show 😂😂😂 It is “How long have you been 17”, you were close though 😂. I’m on the fence about the sword and whether that counts for the bingo card 🤔 It is pretty clearly a sword, so I gueeeesssss you can take it 😂. I do feel the monotony a little bit at this point, but I do really like Marceline’s dreams and there are some good comedic moments. I don’t think it’s that the episodes are lesser, more that where they land in the order being after the other ones makes them less exciting because it’s become a formula. I still really like this mini series though!!

LSP's kind of a lot in some ways, most of them not good, but her friendship with Marcy ever since they bond in "Princess Day" is great. She was totally willing to throw down to protect a friend. Which doesn't at all come close to redeeming her for some of the more negative things (Breezy for instance), but in isolation is nice

Nah, Tallman, I disagree: she's not bad at this. She hasn't accomplished what she set out to do, mostly because the game is incredibly rigged against her, but you can already feel how her enthusiasm and kindness has already changed those around her slowly. And I don't understand why you keep saying that she needs to realize she's bad at this, she's literally been the catalyst for every improvement in the hotel.

See, I disagree on the duets thing. Yes, I agree that it should have more of a balance, and I agree that some solo performances can be really powerful as deep psychological explorations of a character, but I think group songs are more dynamic, cutting and interesting. I think that's part of the reason I've enjoyed so many of this show's songs despite not usually being big into musicals.

Its likely in the past Marceline was able to deal with The Moon fairly easily. Her soul suck is on its own a perfect counter for the healing factor as she technically doesn't have to physically kill them to suck it out. Remember that her dad (who granted is much more powerful) fully sucked the souls from a bunch of live individuals, including LSP. The Moon was only a challenge now because Marcy was incapacitated by the poison and the other characters had no way of beating her.

This show has single handedly ignited my desire to become a dad. Until about a year ago I avoided the show because of the obvious reasons, the “it’s a show for preschoolers” thing. It wasn’t until my family friends’ little girl, who has grown rather attached to me specifically, asked to watch the show on my phone, that I picked up the show myself. Watching the way bandit plays with his girls has shown me that there might be more to this parenthood thing than what my complaining family has told me. It’s made me excited to see where time may take me.

Yeah we first saw Tilly in 'The Bird Parade'. As for the character growth Frida and David experience this season, it has to be remembered that the characters are mostly foreign to the graphic novels so they can't really have any major impact on the main plotline until after 'Hilda and the Mountain King' (the last such novel), but then again the canon isn't actually all that important...

This is one of my favorite episodes! I was so so scared they were gonna make Hilda a witch, because I saw her potential as a fighter, an explorer, a knight, but a witch...? so I was so happy they gave it to Frida instead. I love when a group of friends in a show have different "jobs" different rolls to play; and yeah Frida the witch made a lot more sense.
