Went with my family to spend some time in my grandparents' house in the woods. A small house in the forest with very few others nearby, surrounded by nature, away from the big city. Quiet. I love to go there during this time of year when you can wander around and smell the fresh air after the rain while enjoying the forest bathed in gold and burning red flames of fall. Spent the time reading near the fireplace, listening to the cracks of fire and the sound of rain behind the window. What an ATMOSPHERE!🥰 To watch your reaction, I made some bergamot tea, brought cookies and a soft blanket and sat near the fire with the laptop on my lap. Most of this is not important, just that I was near the fire during your reaction. So when you said: "Where is the woodman at?" in the middle of the video, I slid my eyes to the burning wood and said to myself: "well... he is in a better place now" and giggled a little. But then, in your final thoughts, when you said: "I miss the woodman. I hope he is ok" I was LITERALLY in the middle of tossing wood onto the fire. And so I couldn't control myself and said out loud: "sorry man... I HAD TO... it's really cold out here tonight" and burst out laughing. So this is the story of how, for me, woodman forever became the funniest part of this movie while not even being in it!
@rayla17 you monster you killed him! Hearing that one of my videos was watched in a cool vacation place next to a cozy fire is really neat. Your little stay in the woods sounds so nice!
First, it's not spoken in the film, but apparently the mother troll's name is 'Trylla'. Beyond that, as a piece of media, Hilda and the Mountain King is better in my opinion, but as a close of the Hilda franchise, the S3 finale works well and definitely seems more final - because it is (for now) and wraps up the loose ends a bit more tightly.
Here we see the great Oracle Tallman predicting once again, and said prediction coming true! This movie was a good watch. Seeing your reaction and thoughts on it throughout was very nice. It sucks that all these themes shown in the film are cyclical, both within the movie itself and in real life, but I think it was depicted well. I think this was a fairly good way to end season 2, but for me it doesn't beat the finale to the third season, that one just hits on a deeper level personally. Glad to see you enjoyed it, and can't wait to see what you think of season 3!! (P.S. Poor Woodman, poor woodman indeed.)
I mean, the movie is pretty good (and one of the best storylines imo, no wonder the author gave it the honor of being the S2 finale), but the opening title sequence is superb. I really liked it. Kudos
I was was gonna watch the movie before you got to it and I forgot XD. I have not seen the movie or S3 yet but I'll get to it this weekend, I promiseee!!! Anyways I just came here to 1) give you some engagement and 2) say hi so... Hi! and now BYEEEEE!
This is a very good and emotional season finale and I really like it. but season 3 finale is on the another level definitely prepare some tissues for it
I personally really enjoyed this film. Ofcourse the main theme is a mothers love, but then you have all those other ones like colonialism (I belive theres a certain tribe that inspired or matches to how the trolls were treated, tho I sadly forget their name), along with everything else you picked up. And I will say I also felt a bit teary eyed there at the end. Love the design of the brother troll too tho sadly his not in this film much. Id say overall this film is great but the season 3 ending is a better one Id wager.
"Auntie Astrid" will be important later.
ITS OUT!!! This channel is so underrated, seriously.

I had a brief exchange with the show's voice director on Facebook.
