I’m retiring so I no longer use ads. The best way to figure it out is to test and test some more.

It’s much more difficult now but many people are still making money. It just depends on your quality and originality. The reason I’m not making as much money is because I’m no longer using Etsy ads. I’m retiring so it’s something I’m not paying attention to anymore.

This would be a good research question, perhaps ask AI and see what you get. That being said, my understanding from using copyrighted material in mix media art and selling it (something I had a passion for 10 years ago) is that it had to be over a certain number of years old. I want to say 80-100 but I could be way off on that. Plus, if you do sell it, be sure not to use ‘Barbie’ anywhere in your listing because that is a trademark and could get your shop shut down. Plus, it’s just not legal to do. Does that help?

Here’s what you do…1. Compress the planner as much as possible without losing quality. That will make it a better user experience as well. 2. Test it on your annotation to make sure the experience is good. 3. Upload it to Google drive or Dropbox. 4. Create a PDF with the shared link and perhaps some directions for downloading and uploading. 5. Upload that PDF to Etsy instead of the planner. 👍👍

Good for you. Here’s something I recently started doing. I always have an auto-reply on with some answers to commonly asked questions. I added my no refund policy at the end, therefore if I get someone requesting a refund, they get the auto-reply as my response. It saves all the back and forth. It’s been so nice.

Great question. They receive a PDF upon ordering that has a link to sign-up for the hub. I can verify purchases when they sign-up for the hub. Make sense?

Totally. I’ve had to check myself regularly, especially in my early years. Not as much anymore but it still creeps in from time to time. Anything that gets in our way of taking one positive step after the other needs to be re-examined. In life and definitely as entrepreneurs. 🤗

The only way I have found is to require a sign into a customer hub on a platform like Teachery - www.teachery.co/?a=bEeqbp2g and then you can verify purchase. Not only does this work great but my customer reviews are so much better now that I have my products housed in the hub with tutorials and product tours. I wish I would have done this a long time ago but better late than never. 😁 I have a video or two on customer hubs in my channel of that helps.

I upload them all in one document. If someone wanted to print individual pages, they still can after opening the entire thing. 👍

My apologies for the late reply. I hate to give you this response but it completely depends. 🫣 I know. Not that helpful. It depends on what you decide to create and sell, how you decide to drive traffic, etc. To get to $500-$1,000 a month can take someone a few months or a year. But then...just to keep it real...once you get to that amount, it can shift again depending on the changes in the economy, the changes in what people are searching for etc. So...my more recent advice is to use digital products to start a business because it's a great entry point and then as people are buying your products, learn what they need next from you and begin creating more based on your current customers. Does that make sense? I'm going to be recording a lesson soon for my Build Your E-Shop mini-course (or perhaps a stand alone mini course) about the quickest and most cost-effective way to build a business. I hear you. It’s something you have to play around with to find the sweet spot for your shop. Everyone’s sweet spot will be different AND can change over time. That’s why keeping daily stats is so important.

@@karenbkohn Increase visibility and awareness: allows you to find as many eyes as possible for the cheapest CPC (cost per click). Drive orders short term - probably equivalent to maximise sales within google ads? with that you would sacrifice ROAS, and be focused with the sales volume. Take my sales up a notch - Think that the differentiation might be that it's focused on most profitable items? You would not necessarily have high volumes but the sales would work harder for you. Maximise my exposure to help compete against similar shops - sounds like outranking share bidding strategy from google ads, where you sacrifice high CPC to maximise your impression on their keywords.

Not really. Once you have all of your individual listings done, bundling is the easy part. What takes time are developing the individual listings. Does that make sense?
