The characters of Xenonlade X aren't colonizers, the alien races are chasing down the humans to extinct the human race, they just crash on a planet after surviving an alien attack.

Yes, without fast travelings I expend around 300 hours to reach the ending but there still some challenges too do after the end but I didn't played it. I really like this game despite the story is getting in the way but still the game play and music are amazing, and yet there is a part in the final battle that makes me cry, and yes, she was right... "a beautiful lie"... 😟

Finished my run of XC1:DE recently and started watching this to see other peoples reaction to it, realizing now that I entirely missed the Tyrea questline at 51:15 because in the late game I was so burnt out that I only ever teleported where I needed to be for Shulk and Dunban's 5th skill trees and just did all of Bionis interior and Prison Island 2 back to back without walking around the perimeter of colony 6. Made Future Connected a really funny situation.

20XX or XX is often used to make a date not really specific. It is a placeholder for everything between 2001 - 2099 What's playing in the background on the radio is more of a lore connection to the Xenosaga games that came out on the PS2. Most of what is mentioned on the radio refers to things that happened in the story of Xenosaga. However, things from Xenoblade X (Cross) are also more or less included, even if nothing is mentioned directly that relates directly to Xenoblade X.

48:05 I feel like everybody forgets that the soldiers have no concept of what a parent is, what families are, what the cycle of life is. Added on, these soldiers are technically just clones of Rex & Shulk’s kids, as much as we (& obviously Shulk & Rex) love them. If Rex came out & said “Hey, I’m your dad.” It wouldn’t mean anything to Glimmer without a lot of crazy, extra explanation. And with Glimmer & Nikol being so close to the end of their 10 years, & Shulk & Rex willing to give their lives to prevent that, it’s pretty obvious why neither just came out & tried to explain. Why add that extra baggage? They decided just to love their kids as they are now & try to be seen as mentors & friends to them.

Hopefully not a spoiler, and hopefully not deleted, but two things: 1) You're right about the founders at the end of the thing there. However, you should also go back to your main play save file and go back to the city and re-examine the statues of the founders there. Some of it is tragic, some of it is inspiring, but what blew my mind was Riku, the little ninja. 2) I suspect that the moment of the Ouroboros "creation", with the Kaiju fight against Alpha's final form was when "Noah" was released from N's "Now". Or any other moment where the Ouroboros energy met the Mobius. The reason I say that is because at the point of Ghondor's death, right before the explosion, Ghondor runs right at Na'el/Alpha and uses his Ouroboros power in order to try and separate Alpha from Na'el. Could also be that in the aftermath of *that* explosion, "Noah" was dislodged - but I can't give an explanation for "Mio", unless that was the Queen's intervention itself. Idk, just an interesting point to consider. If I'm not mistaken - there is now bonus content that can be unlocked after completing the DLC chapter, in the base game. Specifically cosmetics or something - at the site of the Archnopon. Someone told me that THERE is where you get the additional information about Fiora being Lucky seven, but you should take this with a grain of salt.

When Monolith has done so much on the Switch Xenoblade games to more explicitly connect them all. And we know there's going to be extra content in X Definitive. On Wii U, X was left out there all on its own because the game didn't do well and was abandoned. It wasn't brought into the numbered series, because it was considered to be a failure. Monolith didn't even like talking about it, let alone talking about the possibility of bringing it back. I think fans who are operating on the same knowledge and assumptions They had in the Wii U days should probably hold off making any absolute assertions (e.g. it's not canon!) until we see exactly what Monolith has decided to do with X in this definitive edition.

I didn't lived this part the same as others gamers at first because of game mechanics: removing Mio would prevent interlink because interlink needs 2 characters and I was sure they wouldn't dare doing that. But after that the animation of Noah being beheaded triggered, all my logics drowned in my tears... 😭

Wow. I had forgotten how strongly Future Redeemed hits you with some of these story/emotional beats. Had a great time re-experiencing it all here, but it's got my mind thinking.... Think Tank / Fun Fact Corner: - To start with the end, this DLC really is a Kingdom Hearts @$$ experience. Just as much of a master plan to fans who REALLY knew everything. The radio scene really blew things open for fans who had been around _before_ Xenoblade, as I've read the radio mentions a spaceship type from Xenogears & "Dmitri Yuriev" is a prominent villain in the Xenosaga trilogy. I only started with Xenoblade 1 personally, so I can't really say, but it would seem that the older stories might be altered to fit better into the Xenoblade timeline. It would seem the grand success of Xenoblade has not only given Takahashi the chance to finish an entire story like he's always wanted (XC1-3), but it has also finally overcome the copyright hell that took the old Xeno games out of his hands. - Although many people were let down upon Future Redeemed's initial reveal---as the fanbase was split on whether it should be a prequel or epilogue---the post-credit scene implying that the worlds were able to merge non-cataclysmicly was a delicate addition that respects the main game's ending. :) ...I hope that flute lead lil' Noah to a reunion. - Speaking of the main game, I will never stop thinking about how f'ed up it is that the Founder statues imply that ending was the last time any of them saw Matthew. Bro did NOT make it home. And it wasn't even a sacrifice as far as we know, as it took generation*s* for the Vandhams to return to the city. (Guess the ol' Vandham charm worked on someone... but it did give us Monica & Ghondor) - If you buy out Riku's weapon upgrade shop, you can talk to him again for a special scene about Lucky 7. If I remember right, it was a full sword of origin metal made by Melia (confirmed to be the master Riku's always talking about) that was specially composed of the souls of the XC1 cast. When Riku is then prompted about what he'll do afterwards, he says Riku might go out into the world and look for someone worthy of the sword. Pretending to be a merchant (third-party) nopon and applying to Keves. That's really messed up but at least he met Manana out of it. - - - Riku states he met Melia through his father being an old companion of her's. While many just assume Riku would then be common variety child of Riki, I do like to notice the pattern of Riki being Yellow, Kino being Green, & Riku being Teal/Light-Blue. I just wish they weren't so vague about the timeline between games. Shulk's/Rex's lines imply their kids were around that age or older before Aionios put them into the cycle, and there's the issue of their ages (why are Aionios Nopon like immortal and how long have Shulk/Rex/Linka/Panacea existed in the background of Aionios). - Going back to Lucky Seven, I believe it was the artbook that finally included a proper explanation. The thin blade is actually just the soul of Fiora specifically, and since the red sheath is recycled from Matthew's special red origin metal that means both souls of Pneuma are in there too. (Guess there's an inverse of Shulk & Rex getting married) - - - Double-checking stuff about the artbook, it does confirm Riku is Riki's son. Guess he would be too young for XC1/FC or just an unseen brother to Kino & Nene. They also confirm the implications that N's version of the sword is Logos. They mention they 'can't say everything now' about how that's possible, but I think the implication isn't that Malos was just revived. - Finally, I would like to say how excited I am about X remastered. I've already heard fans say the trailers include brand new content, so I'm excited to go in blind and see if we'll get more answers about this new Xeno continuity.

FINALLY IT'S HERE!!!!! This game and the expansion were absolutely fantastic. The expansion alone is just a love letter to the fans of the whole Xeno series. That radio scene and the scene after the credits don't seem like much, but they are HUGE deals that impact the whole series. Luxin is really good about going into all the details, but obviously there are spoilers. Really looking forward to what they have in store next.

This is the greatest game ever made in my opinion. The music, the motions of Link, the first 3d Zelda game. All of it started here. Yes there are Zelda games before this, but this one changed it all.

I genuinely love that the boss theme for Alpha is just a remix of Zanza the divine, it really feels like just one of the best ways to bring this trilogy full circle.

Complaining about parents, who are warriors, not oPEnLY cOmMUNICATinG "yOU miGHT dIE" to child soldiers who've been fighting to death all their lives, in the middle of a world-ending crisis Seemingly intentional disregard of anything related to Alrest Visible disgust on the face every time best worst guy N appears
