It's not like it was from something bad happening to him. He just got old. Also... Since I assume you have played the game, it helps that it's not actually his death... At least not his final death.

Playing these games when you know Norse mythology is a very different beast, but also still incredibly fascinating. People talk about how different it is from the actual myths, but I feel like this is how they could have gone without Loki as a key player for most of the time. In the original myths, he was a big part of all of that stuff, not just coming around to herald Ragnarok

Can't imagine the amount of editing that must have gone into this, pumped to see your playthrough! Imo they got a bit unlucky, any other year except Elden Ring year it would've sweeped GOTY.

Kratos almost killing Atreus has got to trigger some PTSD of him being tricked to kill his wife and daughter. they should have played a small bit more into that cuz i feel it wasnt picked up on enough.

I always liked how Týr's name is spelled as "Týr" when other characters talk about him but when Týr himself speaks, his name is spelled as "Tyr". Really goes to show that he is not himself anymore.
Sucks to see that you cut out so much dialogue. The conversations outside of cutscenes are so important for context and really give you the feel of this being so much more than a simple story game, but I guess you didn't feel that way.

When Odin is first introduced, I just noticed a small detail that i missed before. Everytime Odin approaches or talks to Atreus, Kratos grabs his axe.
I lost one of my dog 2 months ago, so I can understand your pain when fenrir died. I can't live without my pets.
