Passing the torch. That's the theme of this chapter. The Ouroboros power, Nimue's watch, Miyabi's flute, Cammuravi and Ethel's memories, Eunie's dog tag. All are dreams passed on from those who are no longer here
The "supervillainpon" cutscene is such a poignant cutscene, if only because it looks like a harmless joke by the writers that ends up shaping Ouroboros' world view and I love you can actually appreciate it for that and not just the "supervillainpon" joke. Time to wait another four weeks or so for Chapter 5!
This chapter is what made the entire party of 3 my favorite, especially Noah and Mio. This game is such a work of art. From the camera work, music, lighting, to the voice acting and animation. I cannot not simp for this game.
In terms of writing, this might be my favorite chapter. Seeing all of the main cast relate to each other's traumas is wholesome and portrayed very realistically. Ethel's sacrifice to teach them how to live with meaning and Mio's resolve being solidified as a result is just AAAGHH. I love Xenoblade 3.
My goodness your timing is amazing. I just got into a Xenoblade 3 mood and started playing and rewatching your most recent video, thinking to myself "I wonder when she will post the next one" and a day later here it is
23:04 "i love this writing" - Me too , i think the writing in all of the Xenoblade games is amazing. 1:13:00 "Exchange Flutes" - Damn even seeing the cut-scene for the third time , i still get all teary eyes.
40:09 What I like most about 3 in particular is how human they make the characters feel. Mio saying that she thought she had her emotions under control after thinking of Miyabi is a gut punch, because you fully believe that she thought that
I’ve loved all of your Xenoblade videos and I always adore how in depth you go regarding the cutscenes. I can’t wait to see the rest of the videos as they come out 😊
I never realized that about Juniper, it was done so casually that you don’t even notice, since they are still human, is something so natural that is hard to notice, thinking back about even I called Juniper by that without even realizing it
They just recently released the Xeno 3 "extended artbook", and Monolith answered to some of the questions asked by fans in a recent "delayed Q&A" (just not all, because they kinda implied that those were susceptible to being explained in a future game). And according to Takahashi, the Moebius are administrators. The way he put it made it sound as if Z had the admin account in the computer that is Origin.
I lost my tiny little mind at the last scene in this chapter. Meeting the queen, hearing her voice properly, fighting her, her using the same attacks from XC1. Heaven. The fact they deliberately didn't say her name for four chapters and then said both her names to hammer you in the face, then pulled that rather excellent machine twist? There are moments to come that I love but as a diehard Melia stan this was where the game peaked for me. Edit: Oh and we get introduced to god damn Ashera, a top3 hero with one of the best quests int he game - PEAK
1:44:33 By far the most interesting and complex Hero in the game I'd say. Especially at her "Stage 2" Quest. And that's saying something from a game with so many so extremely well written characters!
I have these videos running in the background when I clean or something and like hearing you voice your thoughts and emotional breakdowns and I'm just like "Yea that makes sense - but oh wait - there's more!"
Well I'm probably late to the party but if anyone wonder why N basically did a Sephiroth nod/reference. The first "Xeno" Game from Takahashi from when he was still on Square Enix was "Xenogears", that game was originally presented as a possible prototype for Final Fantasy 7 but Square called the game too dark and complex for a FF. Also, the code name for Xenogears was "Project Noah".
The Alexandria quest was my bane for so long in chapter 3, I went everywhere I could to get as many levels I could and even after thinning the crowd at colony Iota I still had to attempt the consul E fight like 4 times it was rough. But the class is one of my favourites in the game so heavily worth it
2:21:00 If this is her reaction with the end of Chapter 4, she’s going to have an emotional breakdown when she sees the end of Chapter 5 🙃😅 … lol, I definitely want to see your chapter 5 video 😄😉
Just found your channel because youtube decided to recommend this video, and I'm glad it did because you have such great reactions and insightful commentary on this game's story! Gonna watch the previous parts as well as your playthrough of xenoblade 1, and I look forward to the next videos. By the way, did you play Future Redeemed as well? Edit: never mind the question, just saw your chapter 2 intro. can't wait for the rest of the series!
It's great that you paid enough attention to the dialogue to see Junipers pronouns, so many people ignore it and then refuse to believe. Love them a lot as a character
It will be very hard to kill D and J, because Joran still has his ability to heal (that was the green light). N said, that "her majesty" can see it and that she needs to be there to see how hope dies. That means the true Melia can see trough the eyes of the fake Melia. He wanted to kill Ouroboros in front of her eyes to destroy her hope. Even now it is still unclear why N has a dark version of Lucky Seven, because only one has been made. He will be very hard to defeat, too. Good luck😅😅😂
I was gonna try to analyse that statement and how it seems so contradictory, but then I realized. I'm the exact same, so I guess it makes way more sense than i thought. You know what that tells me ? Noah's neurodivergent. Though of course I already thought that, but like, damn, he's just like me fr..? ( in terms of personality and life issues though, I relate more to Taion, though, and he's literally textbook my neurodivergency ) Man, get these kids ( and me ) some therapy and a good psychologist.
Everyone slips up at times, no matter how intelligent they are. It's just how it goes sometimes. You can't just always know what to say, how to ask, what you feel, what you want. The world and your feelings are complex, after all.
I mean, he's still only a kid raised as a soldier. He's extremely empathetic and for the environment he was raised in very emotionally intelligent, but this group is biologically around 19-20 with only around 9 years of life experience. There are going to be times where even the most emotionally intelligent people have blind spots where they get the read of a situation wrong, and with how narrow the worldview these characters where born into this would easily be one Noah doesn't have experience with

Also Melia's hope, she caused the robot to break down so she could pass her hope on to Ouroboros and the Lost Numbers.

I'm scared for the reaction to chapter 5
Crazy foreshadowing for so many characters in that scene too. Also Riku taking the initiative in this conversation makes things even better.
Oh boy. Last normal chapter.
This chapter is what made the entire party of 3 my favorite, especially Noah and Mio.
This game is such a work of art. From the camera work, music, lighting, to the voice acting and animation. I cannot not simp for this game.
we need a xenoblade anime
In terms of writing, this might be my favorite chapter. Seeing all of the main cast relate to each other's traumas is wholesome and portrayed very realistically. Ethel's sacrifice to teach them how to live with meaning and Mio's resolve being solidified as a result is just AAAGHH. I love Xenoblade 3.
"I will walk somewhat in the direction of the main quest" is such a massive mood for the bulk of this game
My goodness your timing is amazing. I just got into a Xenoblade 3 mood and started playing and rewatching your most recent video, thinking to myself "I wonder when she will post the next one" and a day later here it is

"N"ihilator
"N"ihiliation effect
"N"deed
"N"ywhere
"N"tertainment
N is just a funny guy.
Silly N
“Of course I am. I am the most humorous of all the Consuls. Those who failed to recognize that are simply fools.”
"N"o light at all.
1:09:17 Lanz is wrong. The first thing he and Taion agreed on was “Noah is a weirdo.” From when he saw off K in Chapter 2
I’ve loved all of your Xenoblade videos and I always adore how in depth you go regarding the cutscenes. I can’t wait to see the rest of the videos as they come out 😊
I always get very excited seeing these videos in my sub box, I'm really enjoying this series
Same
Mio's punch causing a blackout comments
I never realized that about Juniper, it was done so casually that you don’t even notice, since they are still human, is something so natural that is hard to notice, thinking back about even I called Juniper by that without even realizing it
Ashera is my favorite Hero and I ship her and Eunie so hard.
An amazing chapter with good story, Heroes (Ashera ftw), and character development. And yet, the next one will be an even wilder ride!
24:55 “penny finally drops.”
(If a character hasn’t unlocked a class, it still shows an outline of the costume iirc)
10:55 all this mental health talk is reaffirming why this is my favorite game ever. Thanks

Where can you find this q&a?
Bro hacked into Melia’s account and changed her password
1:29:22 That will forever be one of the most badass scenes in the history of video games.
Villain: *Holding his pretentious speech*
Hero: *NOPE-PUNCH*
still have so much love for the tea scene
its probably one of my favorite scenes from this chapter and this chapter is full of hits!
I lost my tiny little mind at the last scene in this chapter. Meeting the queen, hearing her voice properly, fighting her, her using the same attacks from XC1. Heaven. if this is the 4th chapter, it means that the next one is chapter 5 ..........
😢
That one has to be over 3 hours at this rate, for sure.
21:23 "suicide"
- Yeah lets all collectively commit Sudoku now , that surely would make the World a better place. 😬
1:44:33 By far the most interesting and complex Hero in the game I'd say. Especially at her "Stage 2" Quest. And that's saying something from a game with so many so extremely well written characters!
The pocket watch scene hits so different after the release of the artbook and some of it's reveals.
What info came out from the artbook? Has more of it been translated now?
I have these videos running in the background when I clean or something and like hearing you voice your thoughts and emotional breakdowns and I'm just like "Yea that makes sense - but oh wait - there's more!"

1:58:48 I like how Möbius said “Sup” to the gangs
1:29:24 I just got goosebumps from this part when Mio’s punched him
The Alexandria quest was my bane for so long in chapter 3, I went everywhere I could to get as many levels I could and even after thinning the crowd at colony Iota I still had to attempt the consul E fight like 4 times it was rough. Oh shit. We’re so close to it. Next episode’s gonna be hype.
1:46:45 more like a double-bladed lesbian. How is your gaydar so spot on?
27:00 😱is THAT why Chapter 4 is called Life?!! As in life and death!??!
I love seeing people lose their minds at the Keves Castle Throne Room cutscenes, they throw so much at you
2:21:00 If this is her reaction with the end of Chapter 4, she’s going to have an emotional breakdown when she sees the end of Chapter 5 🙃😅 … lol, I definitely want to see your chapter 5 video 😄😉
Once I realized Mio has the same voice actor as Renna from Elden Ring, I can never not hear that anymore lol
The zoom in when talking about M ...
Hoo boy, too perfect
2:27:44 Mr. AniMan!
1:31:48 Weight Of Life, once more 🎵🎶❤🧡💛💚💙💜
Ah chapter 4. Has one of my favorite cutscenes at 1:05:20 and the MIO PUNCH at 1:29:25
I think it's safe to say Eunie is the boss.
2:23:26 hey, at least you didn’t Smash the queen…
Just found your channel because youtube decided to recommend this video, and I'm glad it did because you have such great reactions and insightful commentary on this game's story! Chapter 4 is so good. I love this game
Can’t wait for the next episodes! 💜 I just love this game! And how much you enjoyed it!
1:53:33 And this is Why We Love Eunie
More, l neeeed MOREEE of this reaction series, also anyone knows where l can check the Xenoblade 2 videos?
It's great that you paid enough attention to the dialogue to see Junipers pronouns, so many people ignore it and then refuse to believe. Love them a lot as a character
The theorizing is gonna be crazy in Future redeemed
2:04:28 NICE!

Thanks to interviews in the Xenoblade 3 Art Book, we finally have something of an explanation about N's sword
@@lingeringwill9270 Sure, but that's not enough.
Cant wait for the next Part. And pls do the dlc right after
2:04:19 nice

Im not sure, but i put my nopon coins in this reason
*He sacrificed +90% of his entire colony just to put out a show*
also god of war ragnarok too. these are must plays
Ah yes, lesbian killer Ashera Ms. "I wanna die". One of my favorite Heros
👻👻🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤👍👍
Noah's somehow got really strong empathy but is garbage in emotional intelligence at the same time...
I was gonna try to analyse that statement and how it seems so contradictory, but then I realized. I'm the exact same, so I guess it makes way more sense than i thought.

Gonna be that guy today lol, where’s god of war ragnarok
is there gameplay at some point in this... video?
Is your brain raised on TikTok? There's gameplay as well.
Gameplay? We dont do that here
Juniper thing is localization.
Japanese uses Ambiguous Gender trope
French uses Female
Juniper's code lists them as nonbinary. 0 is male, 1 is female, and Juniper is listed as 2.
