Three motorcyclists were sent to the hospital Friday evening when they crashed on the Bay St. Louis bridge. Two of the three victims were sent by medical helicopters to trauma centers, and one person was ground transported. Harrison County Fire Rescue, Pass Christian and Bay St. Louis Fire Departments responded to treat the downed riders. Acadian and Pafford Ambulance Services units responded also for transport. Harrison County Sheriffs Dept. Pass Christian, Hancock County Sheriff, and Bay St. Louis Officers helped shut down the bridge so the injured could be treated and at least one helicopter landed at the scene. Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
