Very nice! So would the L-fins be brazed closed for liquid cooling?
After skiving, sharp parts of the fins are generated, which are removed by milling. This was a test to confirm that the L shape fin could be manufactured without milling. However, Fin height tolerance management is still a problem~ :)

Cu Skiving 0.3thickness 0.6pitch 9mm height..- with this information, how about the workpiece thickness, skive trip, blade angle...? Do you have any formula to calculate those parameters?

SO badass..!! Hey I have a few questions about the blade: what is the blade material/alloy? Also how do you keep it sharp / what kind of Mainteance to the blade is needed and how often? I know copper is obviously a soft metal and I seem to remember that you anneal it before skiving (makes total sense obviously!) but I imagine that even then the blade still must get dull eventually (?!), but also *maybe not* ?! Im obviously very intrigued by and curious about your BEAST of a skiving blade! All the best and keep up the awesome content! Cheers -Ty
Thank you for watching. For blades, SKD series and HSS are also used. The blade is polished with an abrasive stone. As you can see in the video, skiving is produced by slightly dulling the knife. In the case of copper processing, the knife is checked periodically after 3000 times, and it seems to be used up to 5000 times. Afterwards, the knives polished with a grinding stone are dulled to hold the skiving fins well formed. thank you.

아쉽게도 스카이빙으로 굴곡직면의 스카이빙은 본적이 없습니다. 스카이빙후 동그랗게 말아 원통형으로 만든것은 본적이 있습니다. 관심가져주셔서 감사합니다~^^
