I only have one Betta and a nerite snail together in a tank and this morning I saw little opaque white things slowly moving on the glass. What could that be? I cleaned them off with a glass cleaning sponge. I want to make sure it's nothing harmful for my betta. I've looked at all the different worms and none seem to describe what I saw.

How do I lower my tds if I have to match it with a water change? I bout RO water and the tds is 40 in it! I usually use tap water and just ass my saltyshrimp. But I'm not sure what to do. Also do I need to add anything for KH? Or just the saltyshrimp?

There are some flat worms you should mention that are harmless. I think this is important because people run out and treat their tanks because they saw a flat worm. Rhabdocoela.

Should I match TDS in the tank when adding new water? My TDS is at 268 right now so I'm worried it will get too high! Or should I do a minimum TDS of 130? Im not sure if i match it exactly or not? I want to.switch to RO water but have no clue what im doing.

Great video, thanks! Love my Ramshorn snails, they helped me with a huge algae problem that I could not get resolved. But I have a few snails whose shells are white- not enough calcium? I have some crushed coral on the bottom and feed them algae wafers once or twice a week.

I'd just boil the salt in a cup of Ro and then pour it into the bucket. That co2 method is speculative, co2 has to dissolve in the water , prob use sodium bicarbonate and check ph , Tiny bubbler isnt much circulation , use a cheap pump. Finally , if the tds is right then the salt mix may be fine, they might have added lime to bring up ph and it re-crystalized.
