Alexander Scriabin (Jan. 6, 1872 - Apr. 27, 1915) was a Russian composer and virtuoso pianist. Before 1903, Scriabin was greatly influenced by the music of Frédéric Chopin and composed in a relatively tonal, late-Romantic idiom. This piece falls under that category. He composed the Op. 16 set of Preludes in 1894-95. The influence of those late-Romantic composers is evident. Sheet music: imslp.o...

Gustave Sandré (1843-1916) was a French composer. He was director of the Nancy Conservatoire in eastern France, where Florent Schmitt was one of his pupils. Most of his music scores were published around 1900 as supplements to the magazine L'Illustration. Yes I copied this directly from Wikipedia, as I often do, but there was so little about the composer that this is about as good of a descript...

Beautiful! Thank you for the sheet music link too!
How can I get this sheet?
This is lovely.
What chords is the lick played on ?
Really like this one--it's been coming back on repeat in my brain for days
what a NASTY player man!
Lifeless rendition
Very beautiful!!! May ask who is the pianist? Or was it done on computer, with virtual piano?
Thank you! And the pianist is me :)
Sweet!
DAMN
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Katsuta is a wonderful saxophone player, I am a clarinet player currently learning tenor sax, although this is alto, Katsuta is my motivation. This is my favorite lick of all time.
Such a masterpiece
So did I❤
i played this for a piano exam once ! it’s such a stunning piece ❤
Beautiful
It's very important to me to have discovered that the members of the Mario Kart Band have done their own independent stuff, thank you.
Good.
Por favor, ¿cómo puedo conseguir la partitura de esta obra?
⭐️⭐️⭐️
I’ve been transcribing and learning a ton of his solos on his Spotify albums, and omg. He uses variations of this lick in like every song lool. It’s like when he needs a new idea, he defaults to playing a variation of the lick and builds off of it. I honestly love it and it’s been so much fun to learn myself!
It's called a growl? I thought it was called a split tone. I'm a beginner musician, so I could certainly be wrong
They're two different things but they sound similar. He actually performed a split tone though
@@Binootheboy yeah I thought they were split tones. Are growls the sounds where the sax sounds like it’s “yelling” but not as sharp of a sound as a split tone?
@@TheBlueGoldenHawk correct. I don't know how else to explain it other than it sounding like a lion growling lol. Split tones is another way to make that sound but a lot sharper as you mentioned
Dear friend. You are to admire . I love some of the golden pieces you play but where to find the music?
Ciao vorrei sapere che Pianoforte usi
I was told by an Alfred editor (who has since passed) that all of the "Alexander Morovsky" pieces, and virtually all of the pieces in the Alfred's Basic series, were composed by Willard Palmer himself.
Wow! It sounds gorgeous😮
So are you.
Wonderful sound . Thank you.
What mouthpiece?
Katsuta has been playing this lick ever since the 90s.
Bellissimo.
Would sounds better in church organ
pretty. what is it about this that reminds me of old hymns?
yes !
That's so pretty. :)
Is this alto sax or tenor sax with alto mourhpiece?
It‘s always this guy.. I swear Japan only has 10-20 Jazz Woodwinds/brass players 😂
Спасибо, очень красивый вальс! Подскажите, где скачать ноты ?❤
Thas was a delightful little piece of music. Txs for sharing.
Dimension is an amazing band. So underrated!
Haters r why classical music is dying. Big ol stick can be seen sticking out of the mouth. :P
I play it. I have got a wonderful book of both famous and unknown waltzes for piano. There're many gems. If you want, I can send it to you.
I'd love it! I read a few pages of Tchaikovsky's waltz collection last winter. Was a lot of fun
if this garbage is in it, I'd prefer not to.
