You Can't Do That - The Beatles aesthetic karaoke cover
John Lennon was on fire with this one! Screaming lead vocal. Tight vocal harmony. Rocking bass. Driving percussion. Wailing lead guitar. Bopping rhythm guitar. Infectious melody. Rowdy lyrics. The Beatles used all these elements and turned it into perfection in just 2 minutes and 34 seconds.
McCartney's killing bass line with the little riffs just feels so groovy, Ringo's drums just propels everything, Harrison's simple but catchy lead guitar riff, and Lennon's powerful rhythm guitar, vocals and the solo just means everything. The classic combo of rickenbacker guitars and cowbell just defines the classic sound of AHDN album by the Beatles.
George wrote the guitar intro and outro to this. He is also the strongest voice on the backing vocals. Unassuming genius.
That sloppy precision, growling tone, and yet, PERFECT timing of Lennon's solo is extremely difficult to recreate. That 325 sound cuts thru the mix like butter in the original version. I tried my best to recreate that 325 sound using my Telecaster.

What's better Stratocaster or Telecaster?
i love both models actually! but telecaster has more midrange and power and stratocaster gives you access to heaps more kinds of tones that a telecaster doesn’t have
