Doo da doo...what great sounding backing vocals
This is one of my early Beatles favourites, with George going for some lead vocals and a great little bassline by Paul McCartney.
That tune bring me back so much nostalgia since it reminded me of the good moments of my childhood, and my car ride I've had while I was at Australia, experiencing the serene sunset, the glowing beach with a picturesque villages, so I carefully chose a perfect background for me to feel the exact same magic as that nostalgia. Listening to that song in the afternoon or morning really made nostalgia hit me hard 😭.
That bassline is what makes my nostalgia hit me even harder. At the last verse, most people played the bassline wrong, I've checked out Michael Sokil's and Ably House's cover and that part was missing. I wanted to include that one small detail in the bassline while George is singing "say the words you long to hear...i'm in love with you" to make sure it brought me back the magic I needed for experiencing nostalgia.
The video style was pretty simple and the lyrics took like 15 minutes to put on.
