Looks really neat! Lots of possibilities. Cool stuff.
if ur making an encoder from scratch, this one prob is easier. Is very sensitive and thats the problem, cause they make touch switches from them. youd want a bit of armour around the encoder to make sure nothing touches it. i wonder if u increase the capacitance with electrolyte the pressure makes less of a difference to the farad reading, for a more robust version, thats in microfarads instead of pico farads.
Welp, it is a Vevor, and you pretty much get what you pay for. Though, it isn’t necessarily a bad thing because you can now look at it as machining kit and add in the QC, Vevor doesn’t put in.
I also bought a ball vise from China with a size of 2kg. It vibrates when I carve with hands peace any solution?
maybe simply put in a wedge between the main body and the top?

Modding cheap knockoffs are a great way to learn and exercise new skills. There's also satisfaction of turning lemons into lemonade.
I have a four inch Rotary table story..........😂
not getting it, what do you mean?
Cut level 5 finger tips bro what’s you secret
what is a "cut level 5"?
I hate that friggin’ screw
Do u still have this eb3a? Is it still working well 2 years after u posted this video? Do u use it everyday and do u use it for heavy load ?
Awesome update!
Thanks!
You nailed it Control circuit will not allow charge unless there is power within the unit batteries. I got $5000 invested in BE
Awesome! I would be obsessed with software like this.
ball bearing detent hinges are awesome!
More like Crackspring
Hi I am following same steps, even data not capaturing, I mean wave form not generating.
Nice! But I wanna see something with square angles and more than 3 perimeters :D
indeed quick and dirty :)
I dont know if im too stupid but for a few hours i try to 'build' this project in vs code and i fail, im getting many errors 😵💫
create an issue on github and describe/paste the errors you see.
I've seen every TH-cam video twice over, but somehow this one wasn't shown until after I bought the unit. And I too didn't see a single (!) reviewer so much as mention this issue, which is apparent on many forums, including Bluettis own forums. And two years later with current firmware (oct 2024 EU: ARM v2053,08, DSP v2052,11) the problem still exists for me. Also no threshold settings whatsoever in the bluetti app. So yeah thanks for nothing bluetti 👍 only option is to invest in another external mppt and cables..
You’re doing it upside down. Remember to always flip your work because every single thing is backwards at that penile colony
i have bean thinking about an els with a joystick setup to control directional movement. both lathe and mill.
Good ideia!!! I'll try to do it whit a snooker ball over a rubber ring.
Take that sticker off lol
I just wanna peel it
neat. ive used an 8.8" face mill with three of those on it to make meter long aluminum extrusion flat and parallel within 3 tenths
Thanks
You look like you're disgusted to even touch it
Certified Clickspring moment 🙏
For the sophisticated engineer that not only wishes to satisfy his significant other, but also himself.
A bit late to the party, but very cool, well done! Did you eventually complete your clock? Would be super interested to see it!
Thanks for this video, it is very helpful. I'm wondering if the Autorun Counter speed is dependent on the PC speed, since it seems there's no way to change any setting
Tx a lot for the video, helped me a lot There was one thing you forgot to tell. After downloading you have to replace the Programmer folder with the content of the downloaded file, just rename the old, and place the new Programmer folder :)
As a chinese person who can't read chinese this is a lifesaver
Does anybody know if ETRS PE 50mm lens aperture be adjusted without putting the lens on camera?
where did you find that 10mm dia. ball screw??
that is a lead screw, the original that came with the lathe. Fitting a ball screw is tough, you could try to do a 8mm ball screw but the ball nut would need to be modified or you need to mount it differently.
@@JesseSchoch I thought you found a 10mm ball screw. I found some 0802 I’m thinking of using
it seems you didnt tram the milling head, and are making a helical pulley. you can see in the shot with the belt wrapped around, how it exits the pulley higher up than it enters.
the mill is "square", it needs to be set to the the helix angle of the hob. This was a test cutter made from mild steel and I didn't bother to untram the mill to check the profile of the cut.
from what I've seen in very basic research ,carbon black is a better starting point for extraction just based on graphene being a ordered layer of carbon and carbon black being made in large quantities for tire dyeing. in home transmutation/chemistry is always interesting.
Very interesting! Have you done any machining with this spindle?
yes, it works well but can't take super big cuts. I have 2 of them, one is being driven by a 800 watt 24k rpm motor. I have crashed it a few too many times but it keeps on rockin. I have not yet used it with the smaller integrated motor.
Do you have a video showing the 800w mount?
nice to see this finally come together. your first video way back when definitely opened my mind to the options aside from a vintage deckel or a modern knockoff
Could u make one of theses with lines or jipping around the part wear ur finger hits for better grip, how much would u charge for one thank you
this problem is related to EU / UK users since bluetti is not updating the firmware here like it does in the US.
You can identify as Clickspring if you made the tool that you used to make the tool that you used to make the part.
I made the CNC, the 4th axis, and wrote the tool to generate the gcode to do these helical gears...
Smh didnt even build the computer 😤😤😤@@JesseSchoch
Hi Could you tell me please what does µAss mean?
micro amps, it is a current device. the current is measuring the intensity of the light to the sensor. The sensor has a range from low to high in µAss.
@@JesseSchoch thank you! So “uAss” is “micro amps”!
@@vhsru more like micro amps peak to peak, the device produces sine waves and so 11 µAss is 11 micro amps peak to peak.
give more details about edm circuit mosfet, please
update more detail thank you
Hi Jesse.....about the same time you videoed No, 1 I started a build as well having bought the tool swing mechanism on Ebay..........it's about 3/4 finished as I build slowly and although it's a bit different to your design eventually It'll get finished. One thing I have been noting from other grinder operators and that is the grinding dust id highly abrasive tungsten carbide and not recommended to breathe in the particles so be warned to have some vacuum method for dust extraction. I'm not using the Deckel type collets and have an ER32 chuck with a plain shank that I will add a front taper bush to allow it to fit in the work head......this is for milling cutters so a separate tool holder will be made to hold lathe tools in a square type of holder.
Thank you so much for posting this. Laughed hard and felt your pain in each step of the video. This company has huge potential but seems to fall short on their documentation and typos. On the Tang driver issues, they are using an emulator with the BL616 or similar to mimic the more expensive FTDI USB to JTAG / UART bridges. This forces the use of a different packaged device driver.
Try to make spwm. Can't test the code yet the nano didn't arrive yet
Whats the bearing part number?
