I just found your channel. I started on the edm video.. I went and looked for more but I've watcher a few other video of yours, glad to see you are still posting new content!
Have a look into esp_netif and Arduino handling of DHCP server for the USB NCM interface on the ESP32. The ESP32 bridge can be a DHCP server which provides Linux with an IP as soon as it boots. Ensure it doesn't provide a DNS or GW address so it doesn't mess with Linux routing. Saves hassle configuring it on the host
