This is brilliant. I lost all but two birds to a tornado last year. I now have six birds and a new loft, but I don’t want to lose any more. I had 9 birds and was letting them fly around their temporary loft in my barn, and lost three to a hawk. I’m keeping them in until the new loft is finished. Then I will use this kind of method to teach them to trap. I don’t want my birds to feel comfortable just hanging around the area on rooftops and power poles. Can’t afford to lose any more. I feel lucky that two survived the tornado. Really going to do it right this time. Thanks for the video.

Yikes. I've had some pigeons overreact when things like this happened and they would injure themselves inside the loft from being too scared.

Ive had them hide underneath my roller pigeon kit boxes an let me walk up an as the last bird comes out here it comes also had them trap an wait on bird's be was caught before birds return

I currently have 3 pigeons that have mad my balcony their home.I dont want to kill them or destroy their home for the winter but they are a nuisance and shit piles and piles. I am up on the 5th floor so i cant just hose out where they shit either. what do you suggest for housing and shiotting that i can deal with this? ill put up some boxes or something but man all this fucking shit they shit out is bad.!!!!! i get it they are safe from predators up high but man its a lot of shit
