Great review. I just recently discovered it (v0.17.2) and it's interesting that even back then most of the main characters were already in the game. However a lot has changed since then. There are a few side characters (goth and one autistic/atypical which is really well written as well). My major critique on your review is that you said music is irrelevant. Yes, that's mostly true for the grindy part of the game as you spend a lot of time just running cycles with basically the same default backing track. However several key scenes have just brilliant music accompanied which really helps you to tear up or sends shivers down your spine. My favourite tracks are Missing You - th-cam.com/video/uZ335-3tdKU/w-d-xo.html lofi Type Beat - th-cam.com/video/8RMD5SwRLYQ/w-d-xo.html Surreal Forest - th-cam.com/video/YSa0fz0qguc/w-d-xo.html The biggest impact had Surreal Forest I would say as it plays during the backstory of Ashley. It's sets the perfect mood for a fairy forest :) I also really enjoyed the music during Autumn's backstory at her home. I haven't yet found the track on the internet. So I really can recommend this game. Even though I think in some dialogs you as the MC are a bit to passive and some dialogs seems a bit awkward and you don't say anything. However that's a rare thing ------------------------ HOWEVER I just started recently looking for interesting adult games and I actually stumbled across "The Headmaster" first. I actually like The Headmaster even more to some extend. It's a very similar game mechanic (7 day weak with essentially 3 time slots per day). This game is much more focused on spanking and BDSM. However what makes this game great is the writing. You as the MC are a professional psychologist and as the name suggests you're the headmaster / principal of a school. The great thing about the story is that it addresses many actual psychological issues. They are well explained and intertwined in the story. The writers pay a lot of attention to details. Just for example one of the girl has white streaks in her hair and you may think that she just dyed them. But just as a minor detail it's mentioned that she actually has a rare condition known as poliosis which is a real thing. I haven't heard about that at all to this point (and I'm in my 40s). Just look it up on wikipedia :) Here with this game I have a similar recommendation when it comes to music. Most of the time it's just some default backing track. However many key scenes have actually perfect music applied to it. Including Ravel's Bolero or Pachelbel's Canon in D. It also has several backstories which made me more than tear up a bit. I just say "Cassandra" and "Sally". Just like the Harem Hotel, The Headmaster is also still in development to this day and a new update (for patreons this friday 2024.08.16, for everyone else a month later) is comming up soon. The harem hotal currently has a size of about 11GB, The Headmaster about 7GB. The Headmaster doesn't have as many "places" you can go to, especially since many events are somewhat bound to a specific weekday and a specific period. Since there are 21 periods in a week it can sometimes be quite difficult to catch the right moment at the right time. The character arcs are also quite intertwined and somewhat rely on each other. Overall both games / novels are really well made and as mentioned in thie video, almost all types and fetishes are in the games :) (twins, lesbian, bi, masochism, all kinds of insecurities, exhibitionism, edging, bullying, revenge and many major character developments which is somewhat the main focus of both games). If you have never played or heard of The Headmaster, I highly recommend to watch through the intro as well. It explains one of the major plot lines. I also highly recommend to stick to the 18+. Those games could potentially mess with your brain :P Always remember, it's fiction. So if you are mentally unstable, don't play The Headmaster. The Harem Hotel should be fine though ;) ps: I haven't cheated in any of those games and yes, they are kinda grindy. However in HH at some point you actually get 10k at once which is quite a boost for a lot of things. Both games provide several additional events which allow you to gain extra money which didn't exist in older versions. The main reason why developer include cheats in games has always been to simplify game testing. In some engines the cheats enabling variable is called "developer". This has always been the main purpose of cheats.

I made a comment on your unboxing of the other edition of this set a little over a year ago, now I am coming back here today to say I have finally ordered this compact pack, I am glad I put off buying the DVD boxset for so long, it's a shame I won't have the bonus disc but, these sets have become so difficult to find and I was able to order a brand new one, will likely take around two months to arrive but, i'm not in a hurry.

Turns out, it means Turok 3 is DEFINITELY getting remastered by Nightdive Studios. I can't wait, especially considering the absolutely brilliant job they just did on Quake II.

I wouldn't call the main guy middle aged, but 😅... I haven't played many of these adult games, but this was top notch. I had little expectations, but loved the consequence system and about 90% of the dialogue was well written or presented. There were some truly beautiful conversation scenes with deep sentimental value. The only issue I had was that you could choose to do something to Ana which felt wrong and out of place... and then still end up with her in the end (?!). Otherwise, dude, about halfway through I was actually committed to just being a great friend to Liam because he ended up being such an awesome character. Didn't even care about the other characters... until I did and then got smacked in the face. I went and bought the DIK games in the hopes the story is as captivating. Idec if my friends see I own it, if they mention it I'll recommend it to them 😂

I had the tribal raptor, t-rex, and that triceratops as a kid. I remember seeing them in the store and bugged the crap out of my mom for them haha. Those were some of the coolest toys and had some of the cooler action features. Thanks for the share!

Great video man! Looks like you're missing the Tal Set/Raptor box set though sadly. Decided literally like 2 weeks ago that I'm gonna hunt all of these down and build a very serious Turok collection. Have all the N64 games boxed, both PC ports in their original and very rare US Big boxes, Battle of The Bionasaurs US boxed, and all the console versions of Evolution. Hoping to get these, the rest of the the Gameboy games, and all of the Acclaim comics and strategy guides :D

I just finished it for the second time and I'm emotional to say the least I did the Megan ending and the Melissa ending and I have to say the Melissa ending seems more real to me and more Canon with the ending the endings are both beautiful and sad. Anyways my main question is what is the name of the wedding song at the end it's beautiful I hope someone knows it.

Oh yeah.... the ''Ready to go'' version of Goldeneye that was finished and ready for the 360.... And never materialised. Was also ready too go for the Xbox One, but never materialised for the same bulls##t legal reasons. Then 4 months ago was again announced as ''Ready to go'' for the new Series consoles and Switch, with the Dev's saying all legal issues are sorted and the game is complete and ready to launch, and will be launching ''soon'' on the Series consoles and on the Switch in 2023..... I'm sorry, but this is what p####s me off about gaming. Nobody is counting on this game to sell millions, nobody's job is dependant on this game being a success.....It is launching on Game Pass, so there is no reason for it NEEDING a specific launch window. So IF it is complete, IF it is ready to go.... Where the f##k is it???????? If i say too someone i will see them soon, i mean a few days to a week...Not 4 f#####g months. This is taking the p##s.

the leaked version has a few bugs it wasn’t totally finished , even shooting out the cameras in the bunker takes more bullets and there was unfinished stuff like the multiplayer maps didn’t have proper lighting , the stack level is too dark for example

Great review. I'm currently downloading it while watching this. Eager to start playing. Many of the reviews and comments from players have said that the money grinding really got in the way of everything else, which is probably why the dev's put the money cheat code into it. I really hope that it will let me choose to love/dom each woman individually instead of a set path through the entire story. Thanks for sharing with us, mate. Cheers.

to be honest, this is a cool thing to add for your collection, but it's better to go for the DVD complete series because the box set itself is honestly like ugly from the Blu-ray complete series yet. if you look at the DVD complete series, the box set isn't as big and it looks like inciridian sorry if that doesn't look proper. it's just been a while since I seen how it spelled out properly and obviously you can't do voice to text trying to say it cuz you won't do that. but currently it is $60 on Walmart online store. or you can go inside the store and buy it for 70 bucks You guys even though it's 60 bucks online they're still like shipping cost and it's essentially just the same exact thing that you're showing here but in a way cooler box set. but actually when you open up the box set it's like a book like each sleeve that holds each DVD. it's like a page in the book and it shows you artwork and what kind of stuff and little like storytelling stuff

Hi, thanks for the unboxing. I was wondering if you still have these and would mind checking what type of surround sound is in this collection. Based on the backs of the cases that you showed, it looks like the special features have 5.1 and the rest have 2.0. But I haven’t been able to find anything online to confirm.

I'm in Perth and I have this set. Still in Shrink Wrap because I have other releases to watch and want this edition to be on display for "collector's" purposes. But I do love our good, raw R-18+ Classification logos - they add class to a good horror film release! Thankyou for a great unboxing video by the way👍👍
