I had the tribal raptor, t-rex, and that triceratops as a kid. I remember seeing them in the store and bugged the crap out of my mom for them haha. Those were some of the coolest toys and had some of the cooler action features. Thanks for the share!
If thats true, you helped make some of my most favorite memories as a kid, Im 30 years old now and still have my Tribal raptor on my computer desk proudly displayed, it was such a stimulating piece for me to look at when I was 7/8 years old that I always kept it in good shape and avoided damaging it
Hey man, I was wondering if I could use some footage from this video for a video I'm working on. You will be credited clearly on screen and I will link the videos I use in the description. Thanks!
Finally someone else who is on the same hunt I am, I was Def a power of the force Star Wars figures kids, but I am also a massive fan of Turok, I remember seeing the brand new shelf at ToysRus that had the turok figures and playsets on it, and I just went nuts, I eneded up getting the Tribal raptor joshua with my B-day money from my 8th B-day and later on the Dinosaur Hunter cover diorama Joshua grappling the raptor, then all of a sudden they were just gone, went back to see if i could grab a Talset or a Uncle Carl but the showcase/section was replaced with something else, super bummer, I did remember spotting the smaller figures at a video store in Amerrica called FYE and I remember seeing a sole Adon figure at my local blockbuster in the video game section, but never had the money at the right time/right place sorta situation, I have been for years now eyeballing the boxed sets on Ebay waiting for the right moment to jump on some when they pop up, I did see that there was a toy fair in 1999 somewhere because the website add is still up and I guess there was supposed to be bigger battle sets and more characters including the campaigner from the first game riding what seems to be a Red colored version of the Thunder trex boss from the near end of the first game, and one of joshuas recent ancestors who was a WWII soldier featured in the Tales of the lost land comic from Acclaim riding a Pachycephalosaurus, but I never saw them at the store, or online anywhere
oh yes, i'm a big Turok fan just like you :) my jaw dropped when i found out they were remastering the 2nd game (my favourite fps of all time). there aren't many figurines i'd collect but a small collection of my most favourite childhood games that i still enjoy now as an adult are a must have, hence why i spend so much money on the Turok collection of toys. i can die less miserable now lol
@@SonOfAlma OH DUDE I have all the Valiant Dinosaur hunter comics except for 4, about 86% of the Acclaim comics and Ive been slowly collecting the Gold key stuff over time, Turok is such a tasteful and stimulating series, I just wish we could get up and off the ground with a decent Reboot that doesnt die after 5 issues, Dark horse gave it a shot and it was almost too robust visually looking , and didnt have that sleek cyber millennium metallic look mixed with old world prehistoric tones, dynamite tried, visually was okay, def captured that prime Tal'set valiant era Aesthetics but the story was Ass and all over the place, have you ever seen the animated movie from 2008? its based off the Gold key son of stone series, its good enough
I should correct myself, Dynamite tried twice, the first try was a crap all over the place story, the second time they ended it after 7 issues with a more Talset oriented reboot, but it left off on a marvel multiverse type situation where any Turok that ever existed gets summoned, even the space mercenary one from the xbox 360 game from 2007, and even a version of joshua fireseed where he is a dinosoid
@@SonOfAlma Ill have to get into my long boxes soon to see which ones im missing, but I know I have the first quarter of the series, and the ones im missing are some from the middle of the Acclaim series, I always wished we had gotten more into the Oblivion crisis from the Accalim series, those guys were so heavy metal to look at, and their origin story was suuuuper crazy, them and the primagens origin, accidently causing the big bang with his light ship was so cool, besides the turok 2 comic where joshua talks to him and debates, rather then puittin the smoke to him was cool
Great video man! Looks like you're missing the Tal Set/Raptor box set though sadly. Decided literally like 2 weeks ago that I'm gonna hunt all of these down and build a very serious Turok collection. Have all the N64 games boxed, both PC ports in their original and very rare US Big boxes, Battle of The Bionasaurs US boxed, and all the console versions of Evolution. Hoping to get these, the rest of the the Gameboy games, and all of the Acclaim comics and strategy guides :D
@@SonOfAlma Yeah, there's a different one. That one is Joshua Fireseed and the raptor, not Tal Set with the little raptor i0.wp.com/turoksanctum.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/TalsetRiderFront-1.jpg
@@jeradpaulson771 I'm going to say Joshua because the first Turok game was actually meant to be the one that ended up being the sequel but the developers couldn't make a game of that scale by their deadline so they made a different game using the backstory plot that would have been told in the manual that came with the game. This is also why on the N64 versions of Turok 1, Joshua's face is on the front cover and not Tal'set. Tal'set also basically just defeated a warrior. Joshua defeated a time travelling alien from the future that was twice is size and intelligence. So Joshua for me is my favourite Turok

I bought a Nintendo switch lite to play on the road in Turok 😂

good purchase on your behalf :)

really? which ones? did you work on any of the unreleased ones?
