@@ricardpitarque6637 the troop support skills appear to be a significant improvement on other troop supports. But agreed on the stats. I doubt he will be meta, and definitely isn’t what evil need

@@vladmax1282 pretty much exactly what I say in the video! His stats are poor, are not much better when ascended and his stat and skill distributions do not lend themselves to any kind of synergy. I say multiple times that players should invest elsewhere. Video is for completeness, trying to over the coming weeks discuss all good side commanders and how they could be used, and if they should be used.

@@vladmax1282 not a problem my friend, I appreciate your support watching and commenting! To make T1 and T2s playable they need to reduce the ascension costs drastically and remove the reducing respect item value. Also change some commander stats and skills so they properly align and synergise.

@@TheHJWgaming I just think about their min rehabilitation, it would be good to return a constant amount of respect for each item of respect for the hero, and remove the ascension to p 10, it would at least somehow make them able to compete. They already have weaker parameters for t2 and t3, and it doesn't matter how many they have and what skills they have, if the increase in their characteristics is smaller, they will lose in t3. but at the same time it will somehow help new players in my opinion. If I was new to the game and not a Lord of the Rings fan I probably wouldn't have played. but even for me, having 14 seasons, it is quite difficult to resist against some players with a contribution. well, I think it would be right to make the maximum improved purple = 3 star gold

@@Kasztanos2 yes exactly. I was merely mentioning in theory. Worth noting the Sunind Azru combo is probably the strongest current support build. Can get Azru to 100-120k damage.

This is what I’ll say about the rhun problem, we weren’t disrespecting them we just weren’t wanting to accept their terms with some of the stuff that they wanted. They wanted an alliance with us which of course we also wanted since we were getting bashed by two different factions at once which was making it hard to do anything. Eventually we got to a point where it has looked like Rhun needed permission from Gondor to do anything which is why they talked about making a NAP with Gondor down in a Mordor which would’ve done nothing for us which is why it led down the way it has been going. After knowing that they wouldn’t help us in the battle against Gondor/ needed permission for everything we decided it would be better not to have an alliance.

There’s also this, if I’m completely honest we never started a single war with anyone. With arnor we were building forts and fortress in the middle and some arnor players kept on flying over with eagles and hitting our fortress making them become destroyed (again and again). After that we of course came down and decided to make a defense to not let you come through the pass cause at that point we took it as you wouldn’t be an ally.

Same thing with Rhun not once did we attack them, they had attacked us with Fell beasts destroying our forts or fortress before we even got near their pass, once we got to their pass they still once again kept on attacking us before we did anything. In all honesty the Loth faction has been betrayed, attacked for no reason and had nothing to do with the start of the wars. Each one was started by another faction (I say this seriously as I sit on the game watching what the other factions do as I am basically a scout lol)

@@Kairi.55 we would always attack once blocked from the centre, that is inevitable 😁 part and parcel of the game so not an issue. Gondor / rhun - thank you for the extra insight 😁

Imo they don’t want to nerf as it means refunds. They will likely either power creep or leave the meta stale and milk it

@@charlierodda7723 this is very true. But we can see his skills and so determine that Azog will not be a commander damage dealer, and most of his skills are leader (troop support) and limitation (enemy debuff)

@@akira547 account needs to be in bag end. It will either be at the bottom of your not unlocked mythic commanders list, or the bottom of all commanders. You can also see in the northern part of the commander map there’s a new spot with Gandalf’s image, that’s a placeholder for when Azog is added.

@TheHJWgaming we need a tank 100% undying don't live up to what his stats say, we rely on saurons rng to win , but why add a new one when there's 15+ of unusable coms? Gothmog,Mos and like you say Kirun, all have potential they just don't work , A little skill revision and adaptation would fix Evil straight up! From someone who's done Evil RP since launch, it's in a sad state offairs currently.

@@Sadsicpoetry agree, but his troop support skills do seem to be quite a bit stronger than what we have currently (compare his attack and defence skill to Elrond for example!) and he also has good limitation, so he should be a significant buff to troop support. I’m just happy the game is potentially back to being supported!

@@TheHJWgaming totally agree. BUT: powercreeping existing commanders feels like they are going to milk the cow even more. Im fine if the release new fancy stuff but then they should also provide an option to change respect of commanders. Im pretty sure the community would be reall happy if they release a single respect reset voucher in the end of season store (accessible to all that played through the season) ...

@@Sadsicpoetry 1000% agree. However this model is used in plenty of other games. Take something unrelated, like Yugioh duel links for example, the newest boxes power creep the previous, and you never get money back or refunds for your cards you paid for before. Unfortunately it’s the reality of micro transaction models

@@infernoLoTR agree his stats currently reflect a DD comm. he should definitely have had at least one damage skill, seeing as he was so strong he beat down Thrain and smashed the shield from thorins arm! As for possible builds, I’m going to look into a few and do a video on these too 😘

@@legacyandrews1339 pretty much exactly the build I was considering, perhaps without the WK. Sauron for RP and maybe GTW for NRP instead in my opinion.

Sunind and azru are pretty much weak so I would run him with shadow, lurtz and sauron

​@@TheHJWgamingso I think sauron ,WK, shadow, agzog is possible. Lurtz is alternative for shadow. But for that WK must have equipment with unit boost and good for azog are commands with units double hit effects

And WK unique are a must have

@@vladmax1282 In theory this should be a significant buff to troop support, and he looks like he will synergise with both good and evil in NRP in my opinion. Not enough to make them viable, but still a buff from what I can see. I think they’re experimenting with buffing troop support, so as to not have to nerf the DD comms and provide respect refund tickets.

@@TheHJWgaming I don't think that he has anything special to attract my attention, for example, in the current realities, the support commanders show themselves poorly, and considering the fact that you need to invest in him and pump from 0, I would choose Sauron, who even on the f2p account of evil, I have r10 after the release version 2.0 sauron also has a condition and increased damage to the enemy, but he also has pursuit and 2 talents for insanity

@@vladmax1282 I’m hoping he will be B tier, depends how well he synergises with popular troop support like Gil/Elrond and Sunind/Azru Khor. Think it’s hard to tell how good he will be, as most predicted Bard to be top tier, but he didn’t quite get there

Not in my opinion. Melee units will only hit melee units. Ranged units can hit both melee and ranged. Commanders can hit both melee and ranged. So only extra damage they get is from other melee units Vs running ranged. And troop damage builds are currently very weak, particularly using melee units, so this is unlikely to be a large additional amount of damage

Thanks for watching! Units only. But your units staying alive keeps your commanders alive longer, as they don’t take as many direct attacks when there are units present 😊

I’ve seen a few examples of this, his heal tends to hit like 10-15k, which doesn’t outweigh the extra damage from building for Durins blood sadky

Agree, I very nearly included Sauron here. Not least because I also use him below R5 and see great success with him! Sadly I wanted to keep a concise list of 5 and didn’t want to just state the meta alone. On the gimli front, he serves a slightly different role imo. Dealing high damage, but not serving as a WC clear the same way shadow does. Thank you for watching and your feedback, very much appreciated!
