I've been using Falgin, Dain, Gimli, Balin. Even when 10 lvls down and not fully starred gear, it has been tanking really well. Thinking about swapping Balin for GtG for added tankiness
Interested to hear how a twice ascended Dwalin would do over Balin if you have it. I would recommend GTW over GTG if possible, but GTG definitely adds tankiness too!
@@TheHJWgaming My Dwalin is only epic unfortunately. I was using Balin for his R5 and his R0 heal skill to see how it worked. I also don't have GtW 😅. Done a load of gear resets to take advantage before the free hammers disappear, and it seems to have made a slight improvement
I did not know that skills have cooldown time. If there is some another similar effects I am not aware of I feel free To get some help. Maybe response To this comment. Thank you for this video I really enjoyed it. Playing 2.0 for now.
@@MikaelMaki666 most mistake the cool down for the round it activates, so it’s commonly done! Scaling with different stats is potentially the only other thing that comes off top of my head? (Focus damage from focus and damage stats, physical damage from attack and damage etc)
Just wanted to add, how are you reaching your 50 focus for the pursuit on unique of gimli? without useing the pipe with damage? His base lvl at lvl 50 is lvl 18, I ended up useing Smokeing pipe same damage as plantir but also provides me enuf focus to activate my pursuit buff.
Tough question, with many different answers! Pipe is indeed a good choice. Potentially could use a 1.0 chest piece like an attunement quilted to still get good attack and the focus boost

Quilted armor with focus protection (1.0 gear) and the drums of barad-dur (2.0 gear) for 53 focus and tons of might still
4*** drums. Don’t even need 5 stars
Can you talk a little more about Gimli’s unique. Do I have to build 50% on his focus in order for the unique to be useful or did I get that wrong?
No you just have to get his focus stat up to 50!
