I prefer PETG over PLA for the same reason you do. It works outside and in my full sized vehicles. I'm also putting a XJ body together for my SCX-10. I've been watching your videos on that, and thanks for making them.

Yo mazz, just thinking as a precaution, you could lay a layer of foil or plastic wrap on top of the car before you place the second mangers on top. So the shoe goo will not be able to make contact with anything other than the body the magnets and the plastic wrap or foil. Just a thought

I want to try this chassis. How would it be in the xl with the cbolt links? I'm asking because I already ordered the links. Guess i could get the gladiators seperate.

You can put a bit of heat shrink on your clips to cushion them.

Do you need to balance charge this battery or have a special charger or can you charge it like a regular battery?

Just ordered mine Mr Mazz as super duper helpful! He even jumped on a call with me to explain everything and even made some suggestions that made me reconsider my original plans I got me wanting to order a XL carbon instead of the normal size. Places my order and I have to say I really like the personal touch and great help he’s provided. Looking forward to coming back here to use these tips.

Great vid! Also good to do the connect and wiggle test, before you install the heat shrink. Testing is the function of each plug is working while powdered up. That way you catch any solder joint that didn't stick before you shrink wrap it. :) Any thoughts on if that power switch could be moved? Unsoldering it and add a couple wires to get it off the board. Might need a new mirco switch. But it be nice to get it outta the way to make it easier having the wire posts facing inboard. Yes/no?
