Got some nice damping on there 👌🏼
Trying to find a good sweet spot
There’s a box don’t get stuck in it. Say word son. Great video.
Word
Nobody ever thinks that there's up like that that's how I want mine to be
🤘
Mazz, where can I purchase that 5k oil? I bought a pair of these shocks for my Mazz build too. I just haven’t got around to messing with them. Too bad I bought the oil recommended off of the proline site. What a silly goose I am. 😂
I wouldn’t buy 5k first. I am just doing some testing. Im dropping back to 100 shock oil next. Definitely need to be at 70 or 80 to even get some dampening
how many drops you put in there? Im having problems just filling em. They keep leaking!
They need to be filled about 3/4 full. I do not recommend these shocks as there are better options out there that do not leak whatsoever for much less money. Look at the new hot racing big bore shocks
They’re almost wider than they are tall 😂
They really aren’t that wide they are about the same as injora just shorter. Maybe a touch wider
Question, need advice: I own an Arrma Big Rock and just bit the bullet and got the proline shocks. I live in Florida where it is always hot so I am going to have to test different oil weights to see which is the best for me. My question is, what weights should I buy to test with? I already have 60 & 35 weight. Which other weights should I get? Thanks in advance.
I would suggest starting with 35 first then decide if you need to go up or down to your liking!
See what stock is, then either go thicker or thinner based on the performance you are looking for, i run 40 cst oil in my slash 4x4
Isn't that diff oil or is it actual shock oil that you're using from diff lube. Hope to see you tonight.
Diff oil brotha!
@@mazzdesigns6929 missed you tonight.
Hey brother what hardbody’s are those in the background
Wt micro on Etsy or instagram let him know Mazz sent ya!
What weight is the scx24 your putting them on
It’s an xl but will be in the 400-450 range. I am just testing out different stuff. Nothing ventured nothing gained. I honestly am going to try my 100 in them next just to see and if not I’ll keep going up
@@mazzdesigns6929 I think they said to use the stiffer springs for 500 grams rigs
What's the measured length extended eye to eye
I believe 34 so really close to stock
@@mazzdesigns6929 stock is 38 I think but I'm wondering if they actually are shorter than stock or not
@@OswaldBeef stock scx is 32 eye to eye
@@KBRC81 my stock are 38mm eye to eye and after receiving them and installing them these prolines are exactly the same length. 38mm identical
@@OswaldBeef Which model? My stock deadbolts are 32. Maybe different models vary in size?
are they worth $40?
I haven’t crawled with them yet but I’d say it’s still hard to beat injoras for the price. They are nice just take a super heavy fluid to get any damping. I am about to back it back down to 100 and see if not I’m putting 3k in them after that
@@mazzdesigns6929 thick diff fluid works awesome too and doesn't leak out.
Back to 100? Is what you told me last,,, don’t hold back,,, 5k or 100?
Yes back to 100!
