I am just wanting to explain my thoughts on primer when it comes to painting a hardbody. This is not the only one but the one I like to use. Please let me know in the comments if you have any questions!

High build comes after filler to fill imperfections in bodywork. Sandable primer is a finish primer. I just shot my Blackfoot hard body with 2k clear to bury the gold flake I shot over the Tamiya black.

I’d like to mention after shooting the sandable primer, if your bodywork is good you only need to scuff it with a untra fine scotch brite pad and then shoot your color.
