Do you need to balance charge this battery or have a special charger or can you charge it like a regular battery?

We always recommend a balance charge. Even a very cheap Amazon charger will take care of this. We never recommend using the usb chargers for any battery they are a 🔥 hazard

every charger should balance charge each cells, special chargers work as good as normal ones
this style rc battery sucks because they puff up and stop charging, i would only buy cells style for rc unless doing your competition spec vehicles

I would suggest getting a decent one. If you want budget there are a few on Amazon or you could step up to isdp or spectrum’s.
