Yup - just crappy
I love it.
So many good ideas! Thanks.
Where are you getting lumber that this was only 100 in material? Face frame was hard wood?
Why in the hell do you call your wife your old lady. Really?? Grow up and call her by her name.
That’s inspiring. For people who have basic tools, like many of us I assume. And working garage open while it’s raining, I love it. Hi from France.
Bonjour et merci
Great father ! Respect to you
👏💜❗️👏💜❗️
SLY HUMOR IN THEM EDITS MY MAN. SHOP LOOKS GREAT!
Thanks for watching
I’m new to your channel and just wanted to comment what a great job you do! How much weight can those fold out arms handle on your table saw work table?
Thanks so much. They’re not terribly strong but they do serve the purpose of holding up my material as it passes through my saw.
12:26 jig-a-loo
17:44 naaah! hot paraffin.
I love that look and idea, been wanting to get a secret bookshelf door myself, but dont have the skill or tools, that said Im not a fan of all that blue in the room, way too much for me >.< unless camera exaggerating it
Love it! Do you have plywood on top of your pergola? How is it holding up?
It’s plywood with metal roof sheets. If I had to do it again I would skip the plywood and just do metal
Just purchased a similar shed. I plan on using many of you ideas. Thank you.
Thanks for watching
That backyard is 100% cool.
Whaaaaat is it going to take for you to always wear your safety glasses? We love your channel so genuinely worry. Be well (and safe) and Happy New Year.
You’re absolutely right about that. Sometimes I get caught up in the moment and forget the important stuff. Happy new year and thanks for watching
Awesome job!!! 😊❤
This is great but I would want the space to be my SHTF room. That would mean reinforcing the door and frame with steel and some sort of hidden latch or locking mechanism. Then fill the room with food and other survival supplies.
sure
Next project. Saw horses
You’re right about that 😂
Great build, and your kids helping was pretty awesome. can't wait till my own are old enough to do builds together.
Thanks. I try to soak it all in when they actually want to help.
Yo, this guy is such a liar lol. He's no novice, and there's no way this was only $100.
Thanks for the vote of confidence. The build cost breakdown is in the description
The reindeer and trees look amazing! Love the backlit effect really great idea
Thanks for watching
Great vid! Curious, could you get the mowers and stuff you kept back in?
Thanks, I left about 10 ft of storage for yard stuff
Commenting so the wife will let you do more of these lol
Haha, thanks
The pencil sharpener is one of the best things man has invented. You don't know of a contractors pencil version do you? "....Lazy so built upside down..." - It ain't stupid if it works.
If would be nice if they made one. Unfortunately I have not found one so I’ll keep stealing my kids pencils for now 😂. Thanks for watching
Quick question. I noticed you used vevor bbq access door. How are they right now? Is there any rust? I was about to order them but I saw some comments about rust shortly after installing
No rust so far. I used some in another project 4 years ago as well and those have no rust. I would make sure to check all the welds are clean before installing them
@@Beau_Builds thanks
Wow, for making this up as you go you sure are creative and thorough. Congratulations on an outstanding job!
Thanks so much
Awesome Work!!!!!
Excellent 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
There's no way your miter sled is square!! You just dropped it onto the slides without even squaring it up! You need to push it up against your fence, then lower it down onto the slides. Hopefully the fence is square to the blade! And how did you square up the 2x4 that your t-track is on to the blade? Did you just make sure it was flush with the edge of the plywood? That wont work!! As for the miter saw and your bench, your saw needs to be EVEN and not "proud" as you say! That 1/8" will make a huge difference when you start making things and cant figure out why things are not square and flush! Good luck!
I used a carpenter’s square to square up my sled. So far so good. Thanks for the feedback back
Job WELL DONE! Where'd you put the lawnmower and other items that had been in the shed?
Thanks. The shed is 12x30 and the shop portion is only 12x20. I left 10 ft for my lawn stuff.
It all looks so nice and so very easy to use, but my favorite thing is that pencil sharpener. It is just so cool!
Me too 😂. Thanks for watching
mannnnnnnnnnnnnn....
Looks great! I love the idea of using reclaimed fence board.
This is a great idea! I love it. It not only adds function, but style to the room. I also love the secret Murphy door two the movie room you did., with your boys in mind Lucky boys and wife. And, I’m sure., lucky you too The biggest riches in life is God and family. Bless you.
God bless. Thanks for the kind words and for watching
I used a hollow core door slab. Much easier.
Tip to improve watcher experience. Add a white noise that matches the one in the room you're doing voice overs in throughout the video so it doesn't seem so abrupt when you start and stop talking.
Great video otherwise.
That’s great advice, thanks for the feedback
Cool that I come on to your video. We are taking a 16x32 foot barn storage building into a tiny home!
Are you considering installing a secret latch so it doesn't just open with a slight push? I've seen these using three "books", with the center one attached to a cable that releases the latch when tilted out. You could also install some deadbolts on the inside (maybe after the kids have moved out) to make it a Safe Room. Very cool project! Loved the video!
That’s a great idea. Maybe a future project
I’m kinda glad you hinged the wrong side of the cabinet. When I saw you put the angle bracing in, It looks like it’s the wrong direction to really add A LOT of strength. So when you had to flip the hinge side it changes the direction of the bracing making it stronger. I don’t know if you know about the direction of the bracing making that much of a difference but it absolutely can. My only critique on an otherwise very beautiful final product is in my opinion the doors that you s salvaged and mounted on this are spaced a little far apart for my liking. Again just my taste. Job well done!
Honestly I can’t remember but I believe you’re right. Thanks for the feedback back
Great video and inspiration for my project. Could you share a list of the tools you used?
The main tools were a miter and circular saw with a guide. A palm sander is also very useful
Excellent work 😊
Be sure to pre-drill for all your screws. Prevents splitting
It looks really good with rustic look, no paint on that. And probably apoxy the tops to stop the mildrew on it. Great project!
Thanks
Awesome improvements!
awesome content man, keep it up. cant wait til i have my own place so i can build something similar
Thanks
This is the kind of backyard DIY for the love of the game woodworking I needed to stumble across. Thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching
My first time watching your videos. I was enjoying it at first then you busted out the old school pencil sharpener. That won my sub. LOL! I have one in my shop. Every time I use it, I feel like I am in middle school all over again. Great job!!
Haha, it’s my favorite feature. Thanks for watching
