Your videos are awesome. You are so easy to watch and learn without feeling attacked by the presenter speaking like an influencer. Thanks for such rad videos!
This looks great! If you're looking to add more later down the road to it, I'd suggest maybe trellises made from a combo of wood and wire to the flat backsides and having perhaps different plants climbing it. It may provide even more insulation from sound, but it just depends if you're willing to deal with the maintenance that comes with that kind of foliage too. :)
Hey man I subscribed after finding your channel on the secret door book shelf ..I love the channel ..and anyone dissing your music selection doesn't need to worry you. I think your stuff is great. Videos are nice and actually very cool . The music seems relaxing to me I Dig your work . Keep it up man.
Been wanting to build one of these, but finding info on whether it's worth it is very difficult. I've seen maybe one video where a guy did the noise traping method, but no actual testing in it.
Love it. I back on to a busy straight road right near a roundabout, so every idiot with a V8 or Harley attempts to set a speed record leaving the roundabout. Did you find it was enough to cut down the sound in the yard? I know you said it was about 20db, but did that translate to more enjoyment of your yard? I've been looking for this type of project for a long time. Thankyou for uploading!
hello I'm in the same boat now, how effective was adding 1 in. x 48 in. x 8 ft. R-3.85 Insulating Sheathing between the boards?, looking for an alternative to Mass Vinyl. thanks great video.
Music is fine! Nice project
Very cool diy solution, bravo! Though for video production, I would way less swinging of the cam; much better to point with a still cam.
Thank you for the honest feedback and for watching
Music was great in all the other videos, it's great here as well. You have the best DIY channel that I've seen. Great stuff!
That’s very kind, thank you
Your fence looks great!!

Thanks so much
I have the same problem with road noise. Your video is just what I was looking for. A good solution. Thanks😊
Glad it helped. Thanks for watching
Your music is just fine, no worries. Great video. Thanks for taking the time to make it.
Another great project! 🎉😎
That chain saw is awesome!
One of my favorite tools

Lost a wheelbarrow, gained a plow
😂
Nice work 😅

In my scenario it works but I still have the issue of sound reflections off of my neighbors house. Thanks for watching
Or dig a new hole 7 inches over to side and cut side boards to fit

I’d say if you can get away with it I highly recommend at least an 8 ft fence. It has made a big difference in road noise in my case

It has lowered the traffic noise significantly. How much better than the fence alone I don’t know. But it was inexpensive enough to at least try
Did you use pressure treated posts and for anything else ground contact?
Yes everything is pressure treated
Awesome idea. I am going to do this on our property...sandwiched between busy highway on the front and busy train tracks in the back. Lol.
Hello great video. Fence looks great. We bought land close to a highway and this will be great. Is the insulation panel water proof?
@@Beau_Buildswhich brand of foam boards did you use?
Damn that wheelbarrow made in China 😅
