Love the fact that he wasn't using $7000 worth tools that us regular folks don't have and cannot afford. Simple guy, simple tools, all the tools I have in my garage. I approve 👌
I liked the concrete table top idea, i might use a patio slab or melt bottle caps into a mold for a top, you give people some great ideas.....glad winter is coming soon here in Canada.....i can collect skids for the base idea and sides all winter , and be ready for April / May when the snow ❄️ leaves....thanks
It's going to be a painful season, but proudly, I must say, "Phins up!". Great build and good ideas offered for my own build out here in Texas. I just wish we could grow more tropical plants, but we are zone 8-9, and they die off when we get our 1 month of winter
I learned to take the pain over the years 🐬 😂. I’m borderline 9b and I’ve had a few frosty days put a hurting on my plants, but they come back. Thanks for watching
Hey Beau Builds I'm Katy Builds 😂 and guess what I also built an outdoor kitchen our videos are so similar - I also converted a pergola to an outdoor kitchen/hangout with sofa. What I really love in your build is the lush tropical plants and practical low cost reusing ideas. Defo leave the rustic wood finish ❤... Sorry about your finger. Concrete looks tricky to work with but you pulled it off. I did live edge oak worktops and polished concrete floor. Really enjoyed your video and will check out some others of your Builds. Good luck with your channel 😊
@@Beau_Builds cool thanks! Bordeaux is beautiful. I would love to be in a tropical climate like you have. Here I have to heat my outdoor kitchen to use it 😭. Look forward to seeing you next few projects 👍
Great job! I love the fence picket idea, I'm starting one for my patio I just put down and was looking for something budget friendly in case I needed to replace every few years. Thanks
Well done. You should consider a pizza oven to replace that Weber. With your talent and resourcefulness you could probably do something dope inexpensively. And i vote NO on painting the wood….just transparent seal to protect them.
Did you leave the back of the grill open? I have a cook station that was built already, but it’s got siding around it. Wondering if I could cut a space for the grill to fit and put cement board around all 3 sides. Couldn’t see exactly what you did on the back
So you live in Florida too. I started my project by myself in June then the rains happened and I haven’t been able to work on it again because it has been raining everyday. Ruined the wood I had outside.
🎶🎶I saw a rustic board and want to paint it black! 🎶🎶🎶
That gave me a good chuckle
Just Fantastic! Nothing better than up-cycling & reusing materials…. Keep sharing… 👌🏽👌🏽
Dude. You have no plan, and it’s glorious. Your freedom from anxiety is inspiring.
Sometimes flying by the seat of your pants works on a project 😂. Most of the time I do like to have a plan though. Thanks for watching
Was waiting for a cut scene to Home Depot for a new saw. You’re next level cheap, and I absolutely approve this message
You ain’t kidding 😂. Thanks for watching
Excellent project
Your backyard is an oasis. I love it! Excellent job!!
We definitely enjoy it. Thanks for watching

I like the bottle cap idea, it’d be a cool look. Thanks for watching
Love it.. I’m going to sit back and watch your old videos.
My Husbsnd Does not send his regards..😜🤣
Haha, tell him I’m sorry. Thanks for watching
Leave the wood look. Looks more natural to your setting and plants 🪴. Nice job 👍🏻
I agree, thanks for watching
OMG I enjoyed every minute of this! You did a great job and that entire pergola area is something special. New subscriber here.
Thank you so much
We’ve got our moneys worth on That Facebook marketplace fence we got years ago! Great job!
Love your backyard. Definetly looks like a paradise.
It’s our little slice. Thanks for watching
Love the design, the style of your entire yard, and the reasonable price point. None of the "oh look I got gifted a $3000 cement mixer" DIY here.
Haha, thanks for the kind words. Glad you enjoyed it
Very impressive, Beau. If only I had your talent. Thanks for showing your amazing eye and work.
Thank you for kinds words.

Leave the rustic wood finish, it has a lot of character, def. looks awesome, nice job.
I agree, thanks for the feedback
Love your style! Right to it without a lot of rambling. Sweet set up. Ya done goode!
I appreciate that. Thanks for watching
Wow beautiful yard , love it ❤ love both areas very nice

Nicely done. Love the rustic look. and fully on board w/re-purposing materials. #FrugalLife

The wood looks good!!!
Great job! I love the fence picket idea, I'm starting one for my patio I just put down and was looking for something budget friendly in case I needed to replace every few years. Thanks
Awesome, glad it helped. Thanks for watching
Another great project. Those finish shots looks like paradise. .Congrats!
Thanks
Super amazing I have grills now I know how to build a set up for a reasonable price. 🎉 thanks🙏🏾✌🏾
Awesome, go for it. Glad it could help
Proud of you!! Love the functional space!
Looks so good! Great job!
Thanks
Awesome job!
My wife wants me to do this you make it look easy and nice 👍
Awesome, glad it helped
Tell her to try it herself or with you. I’m working on it with my husband and I’m doing most of the work and feel satisfied ❤
Great job! You motivate us first time diy average Joes! Keep it up brother!
Glad it helps. TH-cam has been such a great resource for me. Thanks for watching
Great job! I want to do this someday. Looks really nice. I would keep the wood and rustic look.
I think that’s the consensus. Thanks for watching

Thank you sir. Pizza oven is a great idea, but I love my Weber. There is a pizza attachment for it though. Thanks for the idea and thanks for watching
Wow,love it!
Using power tools in flip flops. My maintenance Chief would blow a gasket.
Haha, Florida construction attire
Love the way your garden looks. So many plants make it beautiful but how's the mosquito situation? lol
Thanks, I’m in Fl so mosquitos are a way of life. I just have make sure I remove any standing water
Wonderful look.
Thank you
Great project and great video! Hope you get the exposure you deserve! There's always at least one more trip to the hardware store than you planned :D
You got that right. Thanks for the kind words
Very nice
The wood looks great. I’d only paint it if it starts looking bad.
I think you’re right, thanks for watching
Awesome build!
Thanks
cheers....
Can’t wait for the follow-up video when this thing burns down. Looks nice but I am concerned about your clearances.
My last similar build is going on 4 years and hundreds of uses. But I’ll keep you posted. Thanks for watching
Good job I plan on doing something like that too.
Do you have another countertop recommendation?
I did consider maybe doing tile, but I wasn’t crazy about having grout lines. Honestly the concrete is a little intimidating but totally doable.
Loved this video keep goin
Thanks
Please don't paint all the character out of that build!
Agree!
Point taken
I'm new to your channel. What's the country is this built in? I am checking the climate. Also, no mosquitos?
I’m in Florida and we definitely have mosquitoes. Thanks for watching
Lovely and my vote is, NO paint
What miter saw is that lol? It’s small but useful, I need one
It’s a little ryobi 6” saw. Good for little projects
@ what’s the biggest (thickest piece) that it can cut? Also does it have bevel cuts
@@JJ-gr7thit’s does bevels. You can cut 6”-8” boards, you just have to flip them.
Did you leave the back of the grill open? I have a cook station that was built already, but it’s got siding around it. Wondering if I could cut a space for the grill to fit and put cement board around all 3 sides. Couldn’t see exactly what you did on the back
Yeah I used cement board all the way around. Then covered it with the siding. Venting it is not a bad idea either
So you live in Florida too. I started my project by myself in June then the rains happened and I haven’t been able to work on it again because it has been raining everyday. Ruined the wood I had outside.
If you are using pressure treated it should be fine. Just let it dry out
Is steel mesh recommended for countertops?
I used rapid set. It’s not required at the 1.5” thickness I went with. A thicker slab may require it.
I love the natural wood. I hope you didn't paint it black
I realize that now. Thanks for watching
@@Beau_Builds your work was stunning! I enjoyed watching! :)
What program did you use for the sketch?
Google sketch up. There’s a free version
😂😂😂 best intro ever
If you already had a outdoor kitchen, why did you build another one?
I mean, if you already have TWO outdoor kitchen, why did you build another one?
The other one is at a rental property I own
Why not just fix other kitchen?
I still use it with my Blackstone and as a dining area
Men I like, how, you repropose supplies round the house and your projects are sexy.
Thanks so much for watching
You forgot to wear goggles...
You’re right, safety first
Watching someone working barefoot is hilarious......the feet must take abuse.....
Florida man work attire 😂
@@Beau_Builds it’s just so damn comfortable too!!!
