A mortal sin) and basically leading them into Hell (for catholics, "hell" or "the abyss" is a place where we suffer simply because there is nothing there and our immortal soul will be forever in anguish, because of that feeling of emptyness and "nothingness". Demons are in that same state, this is why they want us to suffer with them; to upset God since we can have what they dropped) On this season we do have a lot of talk about faith (Like Yubel talking about "Judai having faith on himself" and his about faith in "humans potential of overcoming the bad moments") Not to mention, Fujiwara being saved by Honest, a literal angel and Judai's having faith in his deck, drawing the card of Fusion (communion) and summoning GOD Neos to defeat the Darkness. Bro, I am not sure if this was like a message to the christian community here in america, like "Hey, you see Honest burning the evil cards (3:06) and they defeating darkness itself? that's what we are on about! Yugioh is not evil, guys!" But regardless Yu-gi-oh GX is way better written than I remember. Than you very much Adamame for this video. I wanna see more of your channel!

Came in here just to correct the thumbnail. The actual greatest loser in GX is Bastion. Started off strong and then almost immediately got put on the sideline, then near the end of the dub, was constantly disrespected by nearly every character in the show to the point he went momentarily insane trying to prove he wasn't washed up. He's 100% my MVL of all time.

Chazz! He was the protag to me. When he got the black coat he became the protag to me. Believe it or not, Ojama somewhat viable irl. You can spam summon Frozen Fitzgerald with Junk Synchron and use Ojama Town to reverse attack and defense. Also, you can block all the summoning spots if you wanna be a cheesey dick. CHAZZ IT UP! Love when he walks into that town like a spaghetti western protagonist and demolishes everybody. Come on! We all know Alexis got mad wet when Chazz wanted to duel her.

The character was there to present "destiny"/light as a treat, problem was once the light was stablished as a villain and started beign surpassed by the heros, Aster looses purpose in the series, he still had to deal with his father killer, but it was more of a made up, out of nowhere, weak plot to redeem the character for working with the villain (the light) in the past, after that hes just there to be another one of Judais cheerleaders (friends).

He actually should have won the duel with the VWXYZ Dragon Cannon.

He was a loser against judai and what not. But like, who wasn’t other than Zane? Lol. People forget how quietly he’s shown to be a top 4 duelist in the show. Let me break it down He takes cards he found randomly and single handedly rips through the entire North academy. At one point smoking a 4v1. Beats the best student. He once again duels his brothers with cards that have NO attack. He then proceeds to single handedly duel enough people to make the society of light a force not to be reckoned with. (A majority of the students mind you) He won the GX tournament. Straight up wins it. He beats aster with Ojama yellow, who was a duelist that made Zane a kinky edge lord and let’s be honest, made most of the cast in GX lose their confidence in dueling for a time. He did all of this with any given form of Ojamas, armed dragons, that severely under supported chthonian stuff and Union cards. All cards that were trash even for the time. Don’t even get me started on the Manga. He smoked Jaden, syrus (who was actually good in the manga) and even though he got smoked by Zane. He summoned his 3 strongest dragons. He really pulled a “if I’m going out. I’m going out guns blazing”. The Chazz disrespect should’ve ended a long time ago.

I’m just here to say they assassinated my boys character in the back half of the show making him an Alexis simp for no reason.

Would that I had an ounce of Manjoume's tenacity. I played Yugioh for eleven years, only to come to the horrific realization that I had no place challenging actual players. Everyone just understood the game at a level that my brain was, and is, still incapable of comprehending. One day, I sold or threw out all my cards, and never touched another one. Saved a lot of money since, but it rendered all eleven of those years completely pointless.

I love how Chaz's first impressions make him seem like he's going to GX's equivalent to Kaiba, only for him to go so far off-rails in comedic insanity that he instead became Yugioh's biggest and greatest joke memelord of a character despite ironically rarely ever cracking any jokes. He went from being impossible to take seriously due to overt edginess, to being impossible to take seriously due to being so endearingly weird and funny.

I find it amusing how Chazz was initially presented as being this show’s equivalent of Seto Kaiba, but as far characterization goes he is actually have more in common with Joey Wheeler
