Don’t let me catch you in Vegas at the poker table might take them settlements 😂
Let’s gooo… I’m loving the new setup at Horseshoe. You might catch me there.
@@pinoytrucking what poker room has the biggest bad beat there?
10k hellyeh good work
There was 2 weeks with better rates in May and everybody jumped to step deck, what do you expect? Trucking is oversaturated, there will be no better rates with the current. capacity of trucks.
Hey if you’re going to get tarps go to Double C Canvas in Midlothian, TX they can make you some custom ones as well with your company name
That’s an idea. Might be cool to see your own custom tarps.
You're doing a great job. Just build a great relationship with the shippers in those areas and they will take care of you. Keep up the good work
(Should be) a "coil package" on trailer, crossbeams close together in center
It’s capable of 60K in 10ft span. I did load a transformer 37K in an 8ft span but I didn’t like the way the trailer looked. So I’ll just keep away from it.
Tractor Supply Went WOKE! 😡 With their Profits From US.
Where have u been, I needed this update!
Thank you for the support boss. Been busy and stressed hehehe
Man we thought something happened to you with the no upload 😅 glad you had a good week out you deserve it! also love the transparency with all your numbers ! Can I ask what the amazon loads were paying per mile? Had to be worth it to drop the brand new stepdeck off
Never mind on the question lol I commented 2 min in
Haha just been busy really. Amazon in this videos paid $2900 on 850miles loaded with all the bobtail from the time I left the trailer was 1100 miles. Amazon was paying good but not great like before when you factor in today’s market tho. I say great…
We need more videos more consistently if you can big Dog
I really wish I can be more consistent with the videos. I have so much things going on that the videos usually get left in the back burner. I shoot the segments I just never really end up producing them because they would be so far behind timeline wise.
Always remember military pays top price no matter what the broker tells you military is paying way above load board prices remember that's government Freight
Yeah that’s why I need to work on getting my access to that military freight direct.
Love the camera view. 👍 Keep running hard and making $$$$.
Thank you 🙏
Have to be mindful, brokers take into consideration trucks that can deadhead to your area as an edge to undercut rates...
I was definitely feeling it out there. It’s getting tougher as weeks go by.
depending on the length they use that type of trail for landscaping, they haul sod,, stone pavers, bricks, they attach a fork lift type machine called a Moffit to the rear so they can remove pallets of goods & take them to an area behind or in front of a resident where space is limited such as between houses,,
Oregon, is also very cheap.
I never understand how people make money off the loadboard in Oregon really. Their road tax is too high.
Have you ever used aft dispatch?
No never have. I’ve never used a dispatch service. I think you have to find a descent one that actually wants to keep you around for the long haul instead of trying to book you on the best paying load that will keep you dead for days trying to get back into a better market.
Engineering and workmanship in this country is horrible
No Pride on their product really. Quality is out the window. It’s all about mass production.
Iam dispatcher let me know if you need anything
You are a real man! My wife and I have an agreement that if ever comes a time that she just can’t do it anymore, than I will drop everything and come home. She has only had to do it once but I was able to hold true to the promise. Now she is actually my team driver and we raise our 5 year old daughter and two pups on the road. It’s a dream come true for us. We get to take our week down anywhere we want. No more missed holidays or birthdays!

dang man really solid week! keep prospering bro
Yes it was truckstop
Oilers won on game 4! Blue Jays won too!
There is a broker in Avon, Big Woods trucking. Probably one of the best rates you can get anywhere. Levi the owner is very honest and all about the customer.
Thank you I’ll look them up.
0:18 😊ok 10-4. Roger that. Thanks for the insight. I didn't think about that. It does seem like Step-Deck is needed almost everywhere. Good point Captain. 🤜🏾🤛🏾👊🏽🙌🏽👑
14% is a helluva good number for the fuel used percentage!!! Here’s the general rule: 33.3% (33 1/3rd) for fuel, 33.3% to the truck, 33.3% to the driver. Hopefully, you’re able to pay yourself that 33.3%. Also, don’t forget about the fuel surcharge. The fuel surcharge was established in 1973/1974 and the base was pegged at $1.24. Even today, we are not supposed to paying anything for fuel over that $1.24 but today the business is filled with thieves and it’s very seldom even mentioned. Start talking to brokers and broker agents about the fuel surcharge; very few of them even know what it is but they just combine it within the load and steal it anyway. Today, very few people know how to calculate it. Today, with fuel at ~$3.75, the fuel surcharge is at ~$.42 (42 cents) per mile. That $.42 is what you should be receiving per loaded mile, IN ADDITION to the rate… again, on top of the rate! Start asking a few idiot brokers and broker’s agents about the fuel surcharge and get ready for a book of lies and excuses!
Hahaha Thank you for that information. I will start mentioning that to maybe some of the big and solid brokers. I knew they just combine it all within the rate. Now it makes me wonder; if they’re all in on the rate and shipper is providing fuel surcharge. Thats $420 in their pocket on surcharge. Now were they really all in?
We need to stick together and help each other!!!!
Agree…
How's Coyote ?
No good either. I’m not seeing them too much on the OpenDeck side.
TQL has a bad rep!!!
TQL is horrible all around. They were good to me when I first started in 2021 but I have pulled for them since 2021 hahaha
Hi , I can talk to anyone at Truck Stop !!!!
They should have a law for the brokers to clearly state if it's 1 drop or multi drop. If it'd multi drop it should be double the rate and so forth.
I like your thinking here :-)
Man being a Motor Carrier has definitely made me patient. Im learning as i go and making the best moves and decisions i can. A lot of people don't want to show you how to run a trucking company because it creates more competition.(IMO) And if they do they want you to pay them life.
It definitely creates competition. I think this industry is big enough that there’s enough for everyone. It’s not like it’s easy to run the show by yourself. That’s why I want to show everyone what I do so people can learn from and maybe go into it or not. I don’t just want to show the good days. I want people to see that there are a lot of bad days too. Sometimes more bad days than good really.
Well said bro
Trucking is the place were drivers are still used as free laborers…
Agree
open deck loads have collapsed this week
It did feel that way for some reason. I felt like the market where I was at wasn’t the greatest but there’s enough loads to move around to find a decent rate. I didn’t see too that were worth fighting over.
Mr. Pinoy Trucking: FWIW, I think you are doing what you need to do to stay rolling and get by in these difficult times. Your approach to load board freight is solid, and you seem realistic about your choices and responsibilities. As a relatively new entrant to the business who has chosen a tough time to get into trucking, stay the course and get time and miles under your belt so you can have greater choices about what you haul and who you haul it for in the future. Although it is challenging, if at all possible try to work on direct-to-customer freight connections so you can work for someone and not only get all of the revenue but to develop a relationship with a customer who sees the "value" you can provide to them. I am recently retired after 40 years in trucking, going from being an owner-operator to having a small fleet of 10 company trucks. My preference was 65-75% direct freight and the balance from brokers, mostly established brokerage divisions of large asset-heavy carriers that I developed relationships with. I retired financially secure and trucking has been good to me but it required a great crew of drivers, very hard work, perseverance through tough times and more than a little luck. Keep on the path you have chosen and ignore the chirping from the cheap seats. There will always be background noise, especially from the keyboard warriors, but keep your focus on the select group that you choose to be truly responsible to. You do you and maintain your integrity and ethics and you will be successful. Good luck and safe travels.
Thank you 🙏 for the kind words. Enjoy your retirement sir…!
Hey man, he went the same process in the 80’s and probably took more L’s than he’s willing to admit. You’re probably at the point that took him 15 years to get to and he’s mad you bypassed all his failures.
I agree. I think sharing information will gradually reduce the amount L’s you’ll take in this journey. Other carriers are still my competitions but I think working together will make us as carriers better $$$ in the long run.
I was in the Army 20yrs and now stepdeck with one set of ramps and learning from channels like yours! Keep it up hooah
Thank you for your service. If you can try to get up to 16ft of ramps. It’s needed on a lot the trucks you will haul. hooah
Is this your 1st wk as an OO?
No I started OO in 2021 then took a break from trucking in 2023.
@@pinoytrucking I took a break. But to long. Now the system basically has me starting over treating me as a new entrant. (I couldn't even get Progressive insurance although I did get approved by some else. It's a longer story than that). My question to you is when you restarted were you able to get loads from brokers? I've been hearing brokers won't sign on ppl with a authority (even with an old number) unless your atutroity has been active for 30 days, 60 days, 90 days or even 180 days. Can you verify this? Thx for ur response. By the way I had my own customers I've contacted them & they won't even get back to me.
