Yep plenty of times. There are times I’ve been pressured by my anxiety to take less desirable rates but I haven’t really been able to bring myself to actually doing it.
I actually have. The first time I shut down the company. I felt like I wasn’t all that ready and at same time I felt like I wasn’t gonna have enough time for the OO. I feel like I’m 100% ready now and that I can provide those service with Van and Open Deck. We’ll see…
Hahaha blonde moment. There’s definitely a place for it in my operation but I don’t think it’s a good fit for me at the moment. Rates are already in the crapper. I don’t I want to dilute that gross anymore than what it is now.
Those rates are insane!
Yeah over 90% of rates on the loadboard are junk and what’s even more crazy is they won’t negotiate on most hahaha.
Have you ever not found a decent load and give up a day?

Sometimes luck keeps your head above water.
Keep grinding. Things will get better.
I agree ☝️
Have you thought of trying a dispatch service? Save you a little stress

How about car hauling? Is it better pay/rate
Yes and consistent
@sonofatlas1372 I don't drive semi, but I have CDL. I'm thinking about doing it, probably to get experience first 🤔
If I had to start over. I would be looking into car hauling.
I had my condenser moved for my headache rack I think it was around 200
That’s actually not a bad price. How did the end result look?
@@pinoytrucking good just moved it so it’s above the headache rack
Another Pro about flatbed is usually you don't have to deal with Warehouse idiots...
Stay safe
God Bless
One of the main reasons why I love open deck. Too much frustration(s) dealing with warehouses.
There's a shortage of truck drivers that they can make a fool of...😂😂😂
Hahaha… Been there. I was making 30c a mile when I first started in 2014 hehehe
