    Great information. You have a great mind for business and a wealth of industry knowledge. You'll do VERY well. I haven't driven in over a decade, but you make it tempting to get back on the road. Keep up the great work and content!

    All the hype about autonomous trucks but I have not seen the technology put into a “backing device”. Just think: a 3-device kit that gives you a device to put on the trailer bumper (clamp or magnet) and one in the cab and the third on the dock. It would guide you back or rotate the steering wheel for you. Once in place the equipment provider would signal approval and be responsible for the backing procedure. We have parallel parking cars.

    I love your channel my brother. I’m always looking forward to your next upload.
    I know it’s your experience and opinion as a power only but IMO you’re totally wrong with Power Only. I am doing so well in PO. There is money to be made out here and to be honest PO I think is the best option. I’m making $3+ on my loads and saving from trailer expenses also paying for parking.
    For anyone watching don’t be discouraged by this video. There is money out here. Everyone’s experience and situation is different.
    Looking forward to your next video

      Thank you for your input and support. I think there’s definitely $$$ in PO. I was actually gonna make a video about it. Just a click bait really :-)… I agree there’s definitely ways to make it happen with PO. GL out there I’m glad you’re doing good.

    Backing: first two pull-ups are a free pass, the 3rd one is reserved for the perfectionist, once you go pass 3, you get an audience 😅, with advice! 😂

    I'm new to your channel. Have you ever leased your equipment onto a carrier? How'd that go? Or just strictly spot market?

    • @pinoytrucking
      @pinoytrucking  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have leased onto someone before. It was someone I met through trucking. Small company but the owner had no idea what he was doing. That’s why I got tired and just opened my own.
      When you leased onto someone, every carrier has a different approach to it. Depending on if their working spot market or have some type of contracts. I would find someone who has customers and not just rely on spot market IMO.

    Do you recommend buying used or new equipment?

      New If you can, less headaches

    • @pinoytrucking
      @pinoytrucking  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I agree. New if you can. If you’re mechanically inclined. I say look around the auctions. Preferably known mega carrier previous units such as Walmart Ryder etc. make sure you’re able to see the equipment physically.

    Talking about the trailers was very confusing. You talk about Dorsey trailers looking at a CR England trailer which trailer is Dorsey, which is the other trailer you mentioned.

      Sorry… I didn’t have enough context I guess. I bought a trailer a few backs and it took a few repairs and adjustments just to get it rolling properly. It was a 53ft stepdeck trailer

      If you look around Facebook market and Facebook group that sells used equipment. There are plenty out there. Truck paper has some. Really they’re everywhere. I’m not saying has to be pretty just needs to do the job and be DOT compliant.
