High Hopes is from The Division Bell Album. As a die hard Floyd fan, this is the only PF cover that I approve of. Other than legit Floyd cover bands like Aussie Floyd. If you like Marko’s singing please check out The Islander live. Floor comes in at the end for backup vocals. It’s a folksy sea chanty type song.

If you want to know more about the battle of the Atlantic esp on the german side, I suggest reading the "Memoirs: Ten Years And Twenty Days" by Karl Doenitz, who was german submarine fleet commander, the inventor of the wolf pack and the reason the german submarines where so feared during the war. From commander of the submarine fleet to head of the navy all the way to becoming the german head of state after Hitler oofed himself till and even shortly after the capitulation. A very interesting read.

You should check out Oh Sleeper. Christian band with some deep songs. Their songs Son of the Morning (Satan's perspective talking to God) and The Finisher (God's response) are classics. My more favorite recent songs are Two Ships and The Island. Whole Children of Fire album is good.

Bloodywood lives in the largest democracy in the world, India, in New Delhi. That's why their current single is called Nu Dehli. (New Delhi is part of the capital region of Delhi and the seat of government). This year they only did one tour of India - with two concerts at festivals. In 2023 they had 58 concerts worldwide, but only 4 of them in India. That's nothing with 1.4 billion inhabitants. Metal fans are the exception there and the genre has no meaning in the Indian music world. Accordingly, they can do whatever they want, they just won't be noticed. The musical export hit is Bollywood/Hindi film music, which is widespread with the films throughout Asia and Africa.

It's super hard to watch anything that Shaun Martin is heavily involved in anymore.

You'll get a lot of Melissa fans in the comments, so I'm here to give you a balanced perspective. These guys are awful and pulled a massive bait and switch on fans. First album was a lovely symphonic metal entry. Second album, they started to incorporate more pop/dance metal (think Amaranthe, which makes sense because Melissa is married to their drummer.) Third album, even more pop/dance metal. Newest album? Basically full-blown wannabe metal with way too much pop/dance metal elements. They are no longer a metal band and it's sad. What's worse is that the band (most likely either Melissa or Adrian) responded on the band account to comments mentioning the pop elements that "we think the metal scene is ready for this!!!". It's highly delusional and very few metal heads want this nonsense.

Melissa is one of my favorites! I put her up there with Tatiana, Floor and Simone for favorite singers. She will be one of the vocalists participating in @TheCharismaticVoice's research on harsh vocals along with Tatiana and Alissa White-Gluz and several male singers. Ad Infinitum (pronounced In-Fin-it-Toom) has a somewhat poppier sound than many other bands you've been listening to. Her other band, The Dark Side of the Moon, is also fantastic. One of the latest releases is Surrender which I think you'll enjoy. They also just released a new video entitled Anthem For The Broken in which Melissa turns into Borg 😉. BTW, the guitar is actually an 8-string.

She started singing in the school choir at the age of 6. She first became known with the folk metal band Evenmore, then co-founded the trance metal band Rage of Fire and soon left Evenmore. Unfortunately, they have just announced an indefinite break: RAGE OF LIGHT - Mechanicals (OFFICIAL VIDEO) In 2018 she started Ad Infintum as a studio project. Due to its success, the project went live. When Rage of Light wanted to record a new album in 2021, she dropped out. She moved from Switzerland to Germany because of the high cost of living, which is why her band consists of Germans. Shortly afterwards, she fell in love with the drummer of Amaranthe and moved to Denmark to be with him. The two are married today: Amaranthe - Maximize (Masters of Rock 2019) In 2020, 2021 and 2023 she release albums.
