Kalandra is absolutely amazing. I wish these bands would bring more views for reactors because it’s gorgeous music. It’s hard to continue to produce the reactions for music that do not generate the views and revenue that bigger mainstream bands do. I appreciate you making this though. Even if you don’t make reactions for them, I hope you listen to more of their discography.
Kalandra has a really impressive stylistic range while still always managing to sound unmistakably like Kalandra. For a bit of a harder, proggier sound I highly recommend their track "I Am". It's from their most recent release and has a brilliant stop motion video. For another killer live performance try "Lullaby (Live at Storas". For a more acoustic/folkier sound the live acoustic version of Ensom is gorgeous.
I suspect I put that live Kalandra in front of you, and it was probably Slow Motion. I believe all of the vowels in Kalanadra are pronounced like the first A in "lalalala I can't hear you lalalalala". As with Aurora, it's hard to pick a bad song to listen to. -If you want a harder song, try Bardaginn (music video) -If you want a chill winter song (released recently) try Ghosts (visualizer) -If you want a nice live performance, try Ensom (unplugged) or Brave New World (Live at Kulturkirken Jakob) -If you want a great music video, try the Waiting Game, I Am, or Slow Motion
Yes, the official video for Kalandra's "Slow Motion" is an impressive Nordic Noir-style production. The music is great, but the striking visuals seduce your attention away from the music. That's OK for a film soundtrack , but perhaps less desirable in a music video. That's why I watch both the official video version and the live version at Gildehallen.
Try "Bardaginn", official video. There is also an official lyric video in old norse and english. Amazing song, very different from what you've heard by now. Shows the diversity of this band. They haven't a single bad song in their repertoire.
"the state of the world" is a a great song and fairly new too, like about 8 months ago. th-cam.com/video/HH4rbzwrTIc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=iXVGhxF5crsINKN4 very atmospheric and a favourite of mine. hard to find a bad song

It's almost a spiritual music journey for me this song.
If you close your eyes, it transport you somewhere else.
Be safe
Ensom, live at Midgardsblot 2022, or the official version, or the unplugged. All of them are perfect.
