How do you learn how to start it

I am not criticizing Kashae; she knowingly bought a counterfeit product for a good purpose. But I do not condone thievery, and that is what the fake Woobles kit manufactuerers are doing. Knowing purchasers are also commiting at least a moral crime. People, please either buy the real product or choose a lower cost kit that is honestly produced and sold. I don't buy from Temu, and now I never will unless they remove this exposed counterfeit product.

Maybe you’ve already tried it but try switching to a knife grip, it might ease some of the pain on your hands. This type of yarn might also cause a lot of drag and maybe the switch in grip could help.

They’re not fake. China doesn’t enforce trademarking they have the economic belief if you can make it cheaper and better quality you should. It’s how they encourage competition. So anyone who outsources to China runs the risk of companies like this buying the product to sell for cheap. The links even take you to woobles and the passwords work. For example on Temu is a lot of Gibson guitar accessories. It doesn’t matter how hard these companies try to take them down if they outsource to China and not places that have intellectual property laws they run the risk of them not being enforced.

E6000 is really good for gluing things on fabric or yarn. I use it when I want something to set really fast and have a strong hold. I use Sobo fabric glue as well. It does take longer for it to dry than the E6000.

Yes, craftsman yarn is now loops & threads. If you go to a Michaels store, you’ll still see craftsmart on a few old skeins

I completely get where your coming from when feeling like beginner level. And yes make the “bad art” just paint as much as you can and don’t be too hard on yourself. I recently realized I am looking for perfection and realism so much every time I paint and so that in turn makes me hate everything I create and I’m really hard on myself but when I just take a deep breath and take a break from my art then I come back to it and realize it’s actually good and it doesn’t have to be “perfect” or look super real or exactly like the reference photos. I’m making it a goal for 2025 to try not to recreate someone else’s art I want to creat my own art in my own style.

I feel like Ami grumi doesn’t have many options for their kits

It comes with 3 stitch markers the only different is one of them is green. It was super similar - aside from the eyes - yarn color and certain packaging. This was super fun to watch! Honestly it’s worth it to buy the kits whether on temu or woobles because once you learn - you can just buy the yarn and start making things on your own or even use the same tutorials and the stitch starter but it’s great to make your own because it helps to crochet on your own in the future ❤

Hello, when I started crocheting they didn’t have all those accessories. For scissors I went to the Dollar Tree in the crafting yarn. For stitch markers I use colored paper clips. Try Dollar Tree yarn and they have a clear plastic bag that’s perfect for when you’re carrying your supplies and they have a crochet. They yarn they carry is bye Premier. That’s the yarn you should learn to crochet called worsted weight. Good luck.

Not sure if this will help, but I know you can flatten granny squares by spraying water and blocking them. Maybe that will flatten your frog coaster? Seems too cute to not try to save :)

I lol'd at aerodynamic crochet hooks. I know you meant ergonomic but all I could think was, "Finally something that will help me crochet faster!" You should try to make a little beanie with that one skein of rainbow that you have. I find that small projects like that are really encouraging when you finish them, especially as a beginner, and I just know it would work up so cute!
