  • When people think of "travel hacking," they typically imagine getting free airline tickets and hotels by redeeming credit card points and miles. While credit card points really can help you travel cheaper, they can be beaten by one of the simplest, cheapest travel hacks of all: the old-fashioned camping road trip!
We discuss how we converted our camper van, alternatives to camper van life, where to find free campsites, how to get a shower on the road, what to eat on a road trip, and more tips for cheap travel.

Great video! I found you guys thru Choosefi last year and been following you ever since. Your story did inspire me to aspire to visit all (or as many as possible) of the national parks in the US. So far I've only been to 3 but with my America the Beautiful Pass I've also been to national monuments too. Keep the content coming!

I love your videos, so informative, right to the point and effortless. Quick question though, as much as I’m in the same page with all the saving and investing you do. Do you have any tips for people who do this on their own? Like travel on their own as a girl. Id do this but it would surely be much easier if I had the security of a male companion but I don’t. Same with saving and investing as a dream team.

Really happy to hear that you're enjoying our stuff! It's definitely a huge advantage to have a cooperative partner in money, in travel, etc., but all the basic principles are the same regardless of whether you're doing it alone or with someone else. It's worth remembering that your "partner" doesn't have to be romantic either, though. You can grab roommates to save on rent, or travel with friends, or start a business with a business partner. Lots of options out there!
