If someone didn’t mention already each character has a certain instrumental motif with them like Athena in 22:28 the sounds of clocks ticking you know Athena is watching also the background vocals in full speed ahead is Eurylochus’s motif Odysseys is the guitar I believe. Just puts in perspective how much thought Jorge not only placed into the music itself but each and every character as well

I love your videos. This wasn't in sync, so I just...looked away a little, it was kind of challenging cause you paused almost every two seconds 😅 I just asked myself....can you feel and enjoy the song when you are pausing that often? I know that this song is soooo great and complex and everything, but...can you get the vibe when interrupting this often? Dont get me wrong, I love the analysis, the talking, but.... isn't it hard to feel the song this way?

Loved your reactions, but sometimes the music was louder than you talking and I could barely hear anything. And normally I would LOVE to recommend Wolfy's animatic to anyone Mircy's Warrior makes more sense if you watch it after their Open Arms.

Excellent selection for the end/behining of a year. Mykal is fantastic in this and featured perfectly. There are so many nuances to this arrangement. VoicePlay provided us with some stellar work this year and this one may be my favorite (although it's nearly impossible to choose. )

If you want to hear more of Mykal’s range you should check out a couple of his other tracks. He has a live performance of “stars and the moon” on the mcc miscast TH-cam channel and he also did a track on Lin-Manuel Miranda and Eisa Davis’ “Warriors” concept album called “Quiet Girls” with Billy Porter and Michaela Jaé. Between the two you can see just how vast and impressive his range is not to mention his wonderful stage presence on Stars. I love his voice! Happy New Year from 🇦🇺

I had been hoping that VoicePlay would cover "Stand By Me" eventually and then they did so magnificently! Mykal was the perfect collaborator for this one. Apparently, Layne, Geoff, Earl, and Mykal sang this together as teenagers when they were just getting started. Interesting note, Mykal was Tenor 1 and Earl was Tenor 2 in those days. A lovely song with a beautiful message about true friendship. Thanks for this reaction and Happy New Year!

Mykal was an OG member of VoicePlay when they were still babies in high school and called 4theLove (later 4:2Five, then VoicePlay). He has been on Broadway, and is a Grammy nominated recording artist.

It is true that Goeff is talented but he works hard to expand on what he has naturally. His musicianship and skills are beyond excellent. He is a total package through his work ethic.
