Masterpiece! The arrangement is so effective in weaving the speaking and singing together. His portrayal of Jack was EPIC! I love the vocal acrobatics. Seen many times and I am still stunned! Thanks for you input on this beautiful performance.
This is one from Geoff that I've watched repeatedly! I love it and I watch it even when it's not Halloween! A favorite for sure! Also, I'm glad you finally watched the movie! Better late than never! 😂❤
Thanks for this reaction to last year's Halloween release from Geoff's solo channel. I love the way that he did this one...so fun! I've never seen the movie, but this video is wonderful. I understand that the Jack character is emotionally on a rollercoaster so the video makes sense. Definitely also makes sense to save your reaction for spooky season 🙂
I hear Geoff fry in his music a lot. In fact when he made the tutorial about singing low he shows you how to practice fry and use it to learn subharmonics.
I had to go get my earbuds to listen even though no one else is home. I have heard that even with that it will not be like listening to it straight vs through a reactors post. I will listen to it straight after your reaction, which I am enjoying.
Have you reacted yet to Geoff's recent release - a 3rd song related to Tolkien's Middle Earth? The tenor solo near the end is beautiful, as is the rest of it. I listen to his "Song of Durin" (from the LOTR books, not from a movie) multiple times a day. I'll be here for all reactions to VoicePlay/Geoff releases
The actor in the original movie can't act worth a darn . Geoff's cover shows the acting skills in his voice as well as his facial & body language. No other covers have come close to what Geoff has done. He is the master of many.

That "golden flicker" in his eyes is pumpkins 🎃
It's because he's the Pumpkin King!!
😂😂 I just love this cover so, so much. The movie too!

Jack's Lament is one of my favorites of Geoff. He convinces me every time that he does believe in lamentations.
True. It is ridiculously great.
I'm just so impressed with his skills. He does almost everything himself and he and Kathy are a dynamic duo
Love the extra insight you always provide. Thank you.

Geoff uses that half step trick at the end of his performance of "Till Then" -- very good WWII ballad, over the top romantic.
I love "Till then."
I have still not seen the movie.

Heh, I watched the original movie about the time you were born and hadn't watched it since. Not that I didn't have fun, but it's been a while!
