Chapter 48 Creative
United States
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 18 ธ.ค. 2012
Hello! Welcome to Chapter 48 Creative (formerly Kelly Anderson Studio). I'm Kelly and I'm a maker of many things. I'm also a planner and journal junkie and you'll find a lot of that sort of content here.
You may have noticed I'm working on a change in branding. I've started a new chapter of my side hustle and it felt like the right time to really dial all of that in...including a name change. I'm working slowly on changing all the things over, but for now I'd just like to say...I'm so glad you're here. Genuinely.

Oct/Nov Hobonichi Flip Through
It's been a rough couple months, but here we are. This video contains a lot about pet loss and mental health. And I'll be crying. So...enjoy?

Loved watching this haul and hearing your genuine excitement come through! ✨This year's box is sooo cute
Thank you! I started using the Weeks for Japanese study. If I ever DO get to Japan, maybe I'll be able to ask where a bathroom is.😜
I'm so sorry about your loss. ❤🩹 Losing a pet, especially one that was integral to helping to manage anxiety, is incredibly difficult. Sending you lots of positive and healing vibes. I'm glad to hear your new honey badger is starting to turn a corner and has discovered that snuggling is good.
@@LittleCocoStudio Thank you so much 🫶🏻
Heartfelt sympathies for your loss of your beloved pup. I've been through it and it's awful, the mourning can go on for a long time. Even years later, some memory will just hit me and suddenly I'm weeping.
Thank you so much.🫶🏻
I'm so deeply sorry for your loss 😢. May he rest in peace and love. 🙏 💜 I know your next journey with Knox will take some time, love, and patience. I believe in you!😊
Thank you.🫶🏻
It's nice to see you, and I appreciate the honesty in your updates, I empathize and relate to a lot of what you mentioned. I believe that when our pets pass away, they find a way to guide us to a new pet. This new pet is not a replacement-our lost pets are irreplaceable-but rather the companion we need to help us heal and open a new part of our hearts to love again. Knox's honey badger stage may be just what you need to find your way back to you, and I bet Dutch knew that. Good luck with training! PS...I went a bit bananas with my planners this year myself, and at the last minute I bought not one but TWO hobonichi weeks (my first time ever using and holding a weeks, and I'm in love! I am now up to SIX planners for 2025. I will definitely look to you for some inspo!
@@valerierose1224 Thank you so much. I do often think that if I hadn’t rushed into getting Knox I’d be shutting down completely and wallowing in bed all day. I like thinking that Dutch knew what I needed and sent it my way. I just can’t wait for the puppy stage to be over. It’s so hard even when you’re not grieving. 🫶🏻
Thank you for posting. You’ve been missed here! BUT I do follow you on Instagram. Here’s praying that Knox’s baby - teens go by quickly!!! 😂❤
Oh, what a heartbreaking update! I'm so sorry to hear about Mr. Dutch, but thank you for sharing this very real look into your love for him. Hoping that Knox-the-honey-badger can send back some of that love to YOU. (Also, the bit about eating toast and popcorn non-stop was SO relatable, omg.)
I'm so sorry for your loss. I was hoping you would come back around to let us know you're okay (for now). Thank you for sharing such a vulnerable time in your life. I let my baby go six years ago now and I still miss her so much. What is grief, if not love perservering? ❤ Sending you and Knox love and snugs!
@@Lsltrn Thank you so much 🫶🏻
I am so sorry for your loss, Honey! Our furbabies are a spectacular gift from God. And the grief is real; so grieve. And don't let anyone tell you any different. Sending you warm thoughts and extra warm hugs (because I'm squishy. and squishy people give great hugs).❤❤

Thank you. Hoping your season of struggle passes soon.
❤ Sending you some virtual hugs. I've been losing my shit over here too and so much crying, I can't cry anymore. THIS TOO SHALL PASS. Sending you so much love and hugs. And yes... let the tears flow because it's natural and cleansing. I am so sorry for the loss of your dog. 😢
Thank you so much.🫶🏻 And I hope you can move through whatever you're going through in as healing a way as possible.

Oh my goodness! I am loving you! except it is a bit terrifying that you are speaking my mind...:)
Hi! Late reply here, but with my experience in bookbinding and being a fellow planner hobbyist, the issue with a lot of new planner companies is that they haven't realized that the cover material on the spine prohibits the books from laying completely flat, which differs from most Japanese planner/notebook company's books. The cover material is a thick material, when compared to Hobonichi's glued paper binding for example, and the extra "padding" in the spine, caused the by the leatherette cover material layer, is what causes the book not to lay flat. CreateWithPen notebooks also suffer from this issue. In all my books like this, I gently cut off the spine material layer just from the spine area. It is risky to do this, because you don't want your exacto knife to go in any deeper than that top layer, but if you do it carefully you can remove that top layer material and then the book will lay perfectly flat like you/we all want. It doesn't look great, but if you don't mind, or find a way to cover it without sacrificing the flexibility of the spine, your problem will be solved! I just started following you on IG so let me know if you want me to DM you to show you exactly what I mean if anything is unclear or you want a visual. Hope this helps in some way!! I love your videos so much. Seems like we're all so very much in the same boat of indecision 2025!
this is very inspirational! as someone with chronic health conditions myself, its nice to see someone else tracking their symptoms and not just being athletics focused (though that is important). thank you so much for sharing!
@@autisticbucky i’m so glad it may help you in some way.
Just curious: do you ever feel the need to know what the weather - or your mood - was like 3 weeks ago?
@@4kassis I can’t say how often, but I do sometimes go back and look for correlations between many of the things I track.
I laughed so hard with this rant!! I was in the same boat as you from August to just two weeks ago and just had to take a huge step back and give myself a big reality check and listen to my gut. Hahaha i get you!!! Good luck!!!!
Ohhh. Didn't think to turn the sticky tab to the side! Love it.
When I’m shopping for journaling stuff it Feels like I’m gambling at the casino. When I find something I really like, it feels like I Won!! Money in and wins out. But I enjoy it and I can afford what I purchase. It’s not just the purchase it’s the resources to enjoy expressing myself. Thanks so much.
Yes! I can totally see that.
Needed to hear this video. I’m over whelmed with the amount of collections I have from multiple sources.
See I love that brown cover. I get to understand about looking like a Bible though too, but that brown is rich.
I’m really loving your channel, I think you’re hysterical! My question is how do you utilize so many different planners? I have trouble just keeping one planner together and keeping my head organized. I don’t understand how people use multiple planters. And I tried it. When happy planner came out. I bought every single planner they owned.but I’m stuck in the cycle of not being able to get my thoughts on paper and articulated. I can’t seem to do it using an online planner. I don’t know what the problem is, but I gotta find someway to get this started and stick with it. Do you have any suggestions about how to start which one planner?
@@krystenburkhardt-hansyn the real truth is…I often can’t sustain multiple planners all year long. We all have busier times in life where that becomes impossible. Or stretches of time where we are less motivated, have less energy, or just prioritize differently. During those times, if half (or all) of my planners are neglected then it’s alright. A lot of my planners have specific purposes (health, language, pet, spirituality) and need minimal amounts of time. Even still, if I don’t work on learning Japanese for a month, it’s ok. Life happens. As for picking just one (which I obviously am not very good at because I’m addicted to notebooks), I’d say start with learning if you are a horizontal or vertical person. That will weed out some of the options. Then figure out if you like the structure of having dated dailies or if you prefer something more like Sterling Ink where the dailies are more flexible (undated). You also need to know everything you want to keep track of, so that you can even see if there’s enough room to do it all. I’m no expert. I just like using them and trying new things and share it with all of you in case it helps spark your own ideas for how to use your planners. Thank you for being here. 🫶🏻
I think I met my neurotic twin! LOL I’m trying to get organized and haven’t found a planner that can seduce me to full participation. I have grandiose ideas that never materialize. Thank your insight and the laughs! You help to lessen the struggle!
hahahaha "he chose violence" lol that's what we say about our dog everyday. lol
I laughed so hard at the “I nearly drive over it with my car” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I’m subscribing for that comment
Hello! Thank you and welcome!
Five year diary is classic.
I have to have a monthly and a weeks part of my planner. I can’t fill the dailies but when they are included that doesn’t bother me. I repurpose those.
Some of the Japanese color combinations are strange.
It's true.
Thank you for getting rid of the box first thing. And thank you for not forcing us to watch you put the clear covers on. Like your style.
Thinking we might be long lost sisters... you have my same humor, planner addiction, and same stupid health TRASH.. I got the papertess pocket to health journal with you...
