Heartfelt sympathies for your loss of your beloved pup. I've been through it and it's awful, the mourning can go on for a long time. Even years later, some memory will just hit me and suddenly I'm weeping.
Oh, what a heartbreaking update! I'm so sorry to hear about Mr. Dutch, but thank you for sharing this very real look into your love for him. Hoping that Knox-the-honey-badger can send back some of that love to YOU. (Also, the bit about eating toast and popcorn non-stop was SO relatable, omg.)
I am so sorry for your loss, Honey! Our furbabies are a spectacular gift from God. And the grief is real; so grieve. And don't let anyone tell you any different. Sending you warm thoughts and extra warm hugs (because I'm squishy. and squishy people give great hugs).❤❤
I laughed and cried right along with you. I can’t thank you enough for sharing, I thought I was the only one who felt this way after losing my soul dogs. I was lucky to have had two in my lifetime and I’m wishing that you will too. Give the honey badger a big snuggle from me💕
Thank you for being real. I've been going through it too these past few months. Props to you for even writing anything in your planner. Hang in there, m'dear! ❤
I'm so deeply sorry for your loss 😢. May he rest in peace and love. 🙏 💜 I know your next journey with Knox will take some time, love, and patience. I believe in you!😊
❤ Sending you some virtual hugs. I've been losing my shit over here too and so much crying, I can't cry anymore. THIS TOO SHALL PASS. Sending you so much love and hugs. And yes... let the tears flow because it's natural and cleansing. I am so sorry for the loss of your dog. 😢
It's nice to see you, and I appreciate the honesty in your updates, I empathize and relate to a lot of what you mentioned. I believe that when our pets pass away, they find a way to guide us to a new pet. This new pet is not a replacement-our lost pets are irreplaceable-but rather the companion we need to help us heal and open a new part of our hearts to love again. Knox's honey badger stage may be just what you need to find your way back to you, and I bet Dutch knew that. Good luck with training! PS...I went a bit bananas with my planners this year myself, and at the last minute I bought not one but TWO hobonichi weeks (my first time ever using and holding a weeks, and I'm in love! I am now up to SIX planners for 2025. I will definitely look to you for some inspo!
@@valerierose1224 Thank you so much. I do often think that if I hadn’t rushed into getting Knox I’d be shutting down completely and wallowing in bed all day. I like thinking that Dutch knew what I needed and sent it my way. I just can’t wait for the puppy stage to be over. It’s so hard even when you’re not grieving. 🫶🏻
I am so sorry for your loss. It is always a hard decision to make, but I am sure you did the best you could with the information you had. May Mr Dutch rest in peace. Sending you healing thoughts.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I was hoping you would come back around to let us know you're okay (for now). Thank you for sharing such a vulnerable time in your life. I let my baby go six years ago now and I still miss her so much. What is grief, if not love perservering? ❤ Sending you and Knox love and snugs!
I'm so sorry about your loss. ❤🩹 Losing a pet, especially one that was integral to helping to manage anxiety, is incredibly difficult. Sending you lots of positive and healing vibes. I'm glad to hear your new honey badger is starting to turn a corner and has discovered that snuggling is good.

You should be proud that you’ve honored your feelings and accepted the ride. I’m proud of you! Hang in there from a person who relates!

Took 5 years for our complete opposite to join our family. 10 years as of 12/30 and it still tears me up, sending you hugs on your loss.
Thank you. Hopefully...eventually...thinking of him will bring far more smiles than tears.
