I'm actually reading Jupiter's Travels currently. I've been at it a while, I don't have a great deal of time or attention span for reading these days, but I'm definitely enjoying it. He's somewhere in Australia at the point I've reached.
The long ride home by Nathan Millwall, Gordon G May, wrote a few books in diary form, worth a read and A ride in the sun by Peggy Iris Thomas, travels with her dog on the back of her bike. I've added the ones you've mentioned to my list. Cheers
Lordy…. not read a book on motorcycling in 40 years Think the last stuff I read was ROOR by Mark Williams and some Setwright. Haynes Manuals….. do they count?
@christianweller4288 Was that the same Setright that penned stuff for Bike Magazine? The 80's/90's were the heyday for motorcycle magazines in my eyes 👍
@@MrDesmonickSome real innovation going on too in frames, engines, brakes, tyres in the early 80s. Today we have rider modes, and Bluetooth integration reviews… oh boy… the “fun” never stops.
@@christianweller4288 I do like some modern aids to be fair. Coming out of corners, laying a black line off the rear tyre, isn't something I could do easily without some electronic assistance 😂👍

It's probably the book that started it all. I'm sure there were books before, but this was the one that lit a lot of adventures. Cheers for watching 😁
'The Motorcycle Diaries' by Che Guevera is interesting. A young Che rides an old Triumph through the Americas, Peru etc
Cheers David! When is your next adventure?
good question Nick , I've been asking myself that recently 😂
@davidcoulson5229 you need to get something booked! It's nice to have something in the diary to look forward to 😉

“These are the Days That Must Happen To You” Dan Walsh
And
“Vroom with a view” Peter Moore
I'll look them up 😉👍

I have a 125 lc👍😀I also know broad oak, robinson's and sturry well😎
Yeah, not a great day to ride, but any day on a bike is a good day 😉
