I have removed that part before to get to the turbo and wrap the tip in tape. The lower bolts are hard to see and hard to get back in without dropping them in the engine bay. Did you ever figure out what the cap is for?

Do you recall which way you turned the 8mm screw to go Up/Down? The instructions say FA about this. I have been turning my V2's both ways and honestly they don't seem to move at all... the V1's were similarly a PoS in that regard.

What's your opinion on turn signal brightness between V1 and V2. I have both and the V1 lights the road ahead when you signal. The V2 I can't even tell they are flashing ( as the driver )

I currently have the V1's and got the V2's as free replacements so selling those now. I've heard that the V2's have a dimmer turn signal which is apparent here, would be good to show them with the low beams on too. The output does seems more evenly spread out on the V2, luckily I have the Diode Dynamics fogs to assist the V1. I did have adjustment issues with the first set I had so got those replaced and one of the left led is showing a purple hue now but it doesn't affect output. Otherwise it's been good for the two years I've had them, I also prefer the look of those ones. The V2's look like the 11th gen civics. Clean install and review though. Would be helpful to show a driving video at night as well.

The V1s have a diffused DRL, that’s why it’s “foggy”. Tbh if the V1s were still made I’d get em. V2s are clean though

How is this mount with the a/c on? I have the Perrin inserts and it vibrates like crazy with a/c on, and 1-2 gears.

PRL uses high quality rubbers and components. If your hose clamps start slipping you are way over tightening. From the looks of the impression on the hose from the clamps…you over tightened the 💩 out of those!!!! Sheeeeeesh Just Sayn…
