The Bobby Moore Stand
United Kingdom
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 16 ส.ค. 2023
The Bobby Moore Stand is the oldest thing that links Upton Park to the London Stadium. While not the same, the legacy lives on and the name links our past to our present. This channel will deliver current content and news, but it will not ignore our rich history that made West Ham what it is today.
MONDAY REFLECTIONS | DIVIDED FANBASE AGAIN
Julen Lopetegui is 6 games into one of the worst set of fixtures he could have expected at West Ham, playing 3 of the top 5 and 3 teams where we achieved a total of 0 points last season. He has not only had to put up with an almost entirely new playing staff, there have been injuries, suspensions and half-hearted performances from our so-called superstars. I ask the question - what would make you happy? I think some people will never be happy and I'll prove it.

Can't stand it when people never get to a point.
Leroy Rosenior, Budgie Byrne, Brian Dear ⚒️⚒️⚒️
Titi Camara was a top striker for us I remember 😂
I sincerely hope he hasn't mugged us all off for a few measly quid but it ain't looking good !!
Calm down every 1 kudus goin nowhere relax.
I don't know Paqeta and have never met him. I think the days of fans having a drink with the players and coming from similar backgrounds died out towards the end of the eighties. I think loyalty is in short supply generally so I expect from Paqeta what Brentford got from Ericsson. Be happy to be wrong!!
Nicolas Jackson Did To Us And If We Don't Do Something About It They Will Crucify Us Not Sure Emerson Will Be Playing Hopefully He Is Then AWB Has To Play As A Right Back He Has To Guard The Right Side As Chris Said A Flat Back Four
As For Kudus Barcelona Don't Have The Money Arsenal Liverpool Man city Maybe PSG Real Madrid
good show Gary and Chris! lot of Monsters about now!😉
This is why after the Ipswich game I was not jumping up and down and saying everything is great, the tactical system is not working at all and it was only because we were playing a poor outfit that we got the 3 points,we wont get anything at Spurs with the current setup
We were a lot better up front, Roger, but the vulnerability down the right was still there. So it was better and yet to see the difference Todibo makes against a quality attack when left totally exposed
@@GaryKillington dont really agree mate,Ipswich had a midfield of Phillips and some bloke Morsey and they played like 2 trees and just gave us the freedom of the pitch. I listened to quite a few match reviews from the Ipswich perspective and they all agreed it was by far their worst game of the season. I would love nothing more than to be proved totally wrong but I dont think anything has changed, and fear a loss by 3 goals or more at Spurs
I think we will be fine going forward it may take time. COYI.
Yeah hoping we see more progression
Barcelona absolutely do not have the money to buy Kudus
Yeah wouldn’t have thought so either
if paqueta is guilty of getting booked for betting reasons then that shows not one ounce of respect to us fans or his teammates. he would deserve a life ban and good riddance..
I agree, but first let’s see if he does and if it is based on real evidence and not just an opinion
@@GaryKillington these are serious allegations not an opinion mate..
No like you just said 'allegations' Allegations are not facts.
an opinion is some saying i think he should be charged with getting booked for monetary reasons in certain games. the facts are his been charged and he will face the consequences in march...its not an opinion its fact!!!
Where ever he goes they will play him in his favoured position not on the left wing
They should of got the evidence and brought him up to answer within a month not let it go this long with investigations, that has stop a sale and stop the club doing there business, they have taken to long I think they might be accountable for the time they have taken, when there was no decisions in how bloody long.
Yeah ideally true Steve and I don’t think there is any excuse to drag it out for so long
Excellent show. Really nice to see the sign make an appearance, too 😂
Thanks Bodger, leave my sign alone
In ten seasons, Antonio has never scored more than 10 league goals. I love the guy for his effort, but that's a bang average record. Longevity over Quality. My fave striker was David Cross, but I think it would be Dean Ashton if things had gone differently. Hursty was superb, don't know why we let him go to Stoke. Remember Steve Jones? :)
it isn’t average for a winger though Phil because he can call himself a striker as much as he likes but he ain’t
@@GaryKillington I agree mate but he's been playing as 'striker' for enough seasons for the point still to be valid. He's never broken 10. Him and Adama Traore could have been world beaters if they had decent technique.
If you were playing football for david moyes wouldn't you want to bugger off I would playing football for moyes I would rather pull my eyes out
Alf Ramsay's england team were known as the Wingless Wonders. Carsley's team are the Shotless Shower.
after he dropped Bowen, I wanted the headline "Carsley Sauce". Bloke's a prick just trying to be the latest manager to be liked by all the popular kids. We need an independent thinking brave manager who has an understanding of how to win games against each opposition and isn't in it to just keep the big egos satisfied. Fuck the egos, look how much good it did us to cram Lampard and Gerrard into the same team.
Very good point Gary. Loppy is using AWB as a RWB, but we all know his strength is as a RB. I've noticed in several games that AWB is nowhere to be seen when the opposition have oceans of space on the left. This is clearly a tactical decision but it's kamikaze. Let the guy defend.
It's worse than that Phil, it's the man-to-man marking that means when the man AWB is marking goes inside, AWB follows him. It can't happen.
@@GaryKillington I've seen him in our box when the opposition has uncontested possession deep on our right wing. It makes no sense atall.
I agree mate
Standing in Lower Bobby Moore, I've seen the space opposition right wingers have had all season. A massive problem...
I know Dan, I just assumed it was because AWB was up the pitch not being dragged inside. But I've seen the pictures now, it's exactly what happens.
Another member of the BML, nice 🙂
@@GaryKillington Hi Gary, I hadn't seen the 'being dragged inside' phenomenon either. Let's hope Loppy and his analysts have a plan...🤔
Demba Ba would have banged them in for us had he not left because we went down. 7 in 12 short games, he certainly did his job while he was with us.
A properly good player wasn't he
@@GaryKillington another West Ham ‘nearly’ story… not on the same level of heartbreak as Dean Ashton though. That hurt more than any of the relegations we endured in my lifetime. I think it was the senseless, needless injustice of it. The most notable thing that SWP did in his entire nothingburger of a career. 😑
Not ever had a striker in premier league era to get 20 league goals last player to get 20 league goals was Tony Cottee before prem league
you sure Hartson didn’t?
@@GaryKillington not league league goals cos before end of season he got banned for a scuffle with stimac v Derby he got over 20 but that was all comps
@@aswhu66I stand corrected then
Pacman is guilty kudus is bang average this season forget played out of position if he is world class he can play anywhere Payet di Canio could
If Paqueta is not guilty the FA have been destroying his game.⚒⚒⚒
The FA are prosecuting because they have to - they cannot ignore the betting irregularities
Glad others see the over hype about Saka. He is a one trick pony - give him space to cut inside and hit it with his left and he does it well. But has a poor first touch especially when taking the ball with his back to the opposition goal - I actually think he is a better left winger. Anyway - thats too much on Arsenal. Kudus seems to a player who needs the arm around the shoulder but obviously has a bit of frustration at the moment like a lot of fans. The grass might not be greener on the other side if he moves to a club full of stars. I think he would shine at Barca due to a lower tempo league, but Man City would put the shackles on him like they do with Grealish. But while he is with us we have to find his favoured role on the park.
I agree with all of that
You forgot our greatest EVER striker - Zaza!
There had to be at least one we missed 😂
Enjoyed the show thanks Gary and Chris, lots of good topics discussed. Bowen is magnificent and I’m glad that he’s underrated by other clubs.
Thanks Joan and yes he is, long may it last. Klopp knew how good he was and I think Eddie at Newcastle knows as well. They both wanted him but he ain’t leaving
Nice show as usual chaps,,coyi
thanks Darren
Liverpool no chance why would he go there ffs. Pep of course or barca top teams.
He would light it up for City, Pep would know how to gain the optimum from him.
Another brilliant show guys thank you.
Thanks Andrew, glad you enjoyed it
Its great to see the players all show up and play COYI
Brian is always a good listen ⚒️
Chris, Brian and Gary. What a top team of presenters. Knowledgeable and no knee jerk ranting!! We need the three of you every week. COYI

Front 4 we're top draw subs were great excited for the season COYFI WHTID ❤
Great performance great result 😮 coyfi whtid x well done lopategi x WESTHAM ARE MASSIVE happy hammer ❤ BOWEN ..CAPTAIN FANTASTIC
Great show Chris and Brian super win just wot we needed
Thanks Lee. Let's hope we can go on a run now. Some tricky games coming up but none we should be fearful of ⚒️
Nice to see happy Hammers fans at last. A great result and performance too. I finally could watch MOTD without having the hump. Shearer was very complimentary to our team.
Was needed mate.
Some entertaining football at last, enjoy it while it lasts, coz you know it won't ⚒
That's the spirit!
Thank you very much , Brian & Chris, I rather enjoyed that! As Phillips was subbed off TV actually showed a close up of him as he noticed a bit of an ironic cheer for him [Kalvin] when he came off, he just cracked a smile. I feel as if the season just started in some regards, I was a little unenthusiastic about the starting XI but all those I would have sat either scored , assisted or played very well defensively in Emerson, so they all put a big check on my “wanna be punditry”😂It’s a lot of change all at once, hopefully it’s on and up from here! COYI⚒️
I really hope so too. Thanks for the comment ⚒️
Thanks Chris and also to Brian for being a great guest - enjoy listening to his views, he seems to read the game so well.
Cheers mate ⚒️
Re the last conversation vs Spuds I think Noble needs to get in that dressing room and explain to these new players exactly how much we all detest that club . I think it’s crucial
I'm sure the players will know how important the game is Tim. However, I agree getting Noble in for a pre match talk certainly can't do any harm!
A good watch chris! Always enjoy Brians opinions very factual imo, reads the game well and has a good overall Football knowledge which he brings across without being condescending! as always Gary and Chris keep up the good work👍👍 stay safe now John...
Cheers John, appreciate it. Brian's great at dissecting a game and providing an in depth analysis.
Brian’s the goat when it comes to breaking the game down
where are you exiled mate?
@@dagjohn7937manchester! 😂
Great show Chris - always like to hear the round up from Gary and yourself. Love this result for many reasons - not least that it will silence some of those harsh critics that have slated Lopertegui along with some of our starting players. Prime example is Antonio who was a menace all game - he struck with a first minute goal and it was his thunderous header that gave Kudus his goal. Bowen was awesome all game and a constant right side threat. Some will say "Yes, but it was only Ipswich" but remember Ipswich held Villa last week to 2-2 draw. Lopertegui doing a great rebuild in my opinion and it is taking shape - everyone was outstanding. COYI
Thanks Chris and Brian Good show. Convincing win 4-1 for sure and im a happy hammer dont get me wrong , but we need tightening up lots which hopefully will come in time to play well with the above table clubs. Also Ipswich we're poor tbh lets be honest we wanted it more which. Shows good signs . Too bad we're hindered with yet another international break as our momentums gaining, worse timing if you ask me couldn't give a cack about euros. . Onwards upwards COYI 'X'
Kudus could and should have scored 2 or 3 today , looked motivated and buying into being more a team player so overall a great game for him .
Great to see him score, but more importantly play as a team player.
Great win for yous Gary new yous would hit form it's onwards and upwards now for hammers ,we got a draw at Everton it was scrappy game and missed pen so felt like two point lost ,keep it going Gary great show as always.
