Strange Thing Found In The Woods

Found a pretty strange thing in the woods while out on a fishing trip. Got an eerie and creepy feeling while walking through there. Very odd place.

Do you think it was abandoned because of the water and it came too quick that they couldn’t take their stuff or that they had too much stuff to take ?

You occasionally find spots like that in the swamps here in the South. That's an abandoned moonshiner's still spot. They use the water to cool the condenser on their still. The wall you see there is likely a windbreak for the fire under the still.

VERY interesting! I'll have to do a bit of research and see if that kind of thing happens around here. I may just have to go back and do a bit more exploring and see if I can find any evidence of that. All the garbage I cleaned up was just empty bottles and food containers.

That is weird. I wouldn't touch any of it or the garbage. Never know what is in it. Maybe I watch to much true crime and suspicious. Here in Florida swamps means alligator 🐊 alley lol. If they are homeless I know from homeless around where I live they leave all kinds of trash.
