We have lots of shampoos and conditioners because of me. I simply can’t use the same on my hair longer than 2 weeks or my hair gets dull and limp thank you menopause! 🙄
Yes needs to be more formal
I love your videos and all the decorating ideas! Everything is so beautiful! I’d love to know where you got your living room rug… can you please leave a link to where you got it. Thank you.
Hi! Thank you for the compliment. I just went to the website to get the link for you and I noticed the rug that I got, there's now two different types, one in which it says upgraded quality. So I am leaving you that link. It seems to cost just a little bit more than the other type of rug. So in other words, if you search under the name of the rug, two will come up and one says upgraded quality. I hope that that makes sense. Here's the link: www.rugsusa.com/products/andrea-bordered-spill-proof-washable-rug-charcoal?query_id=1cd48a1a8fab54cb213ffe7214105ab4&variant=48452419420216 I would totally buy the rugs again, but with that being said, the quality is not the highest. They are worth every penny. With having two big dogs, I have no regrets. Thank you again and I hope to see you in my next video ♥️
I don’t like the tree there either
Where were you the first 5 minutes I was thinking I was just overthinking 😜😀 I needed a friend to stop me from trying to make it work. But now I know it was because of the height competition. Such a great tip I learned! I believe the tree is 7 feet, so I'm really tempted to get a 12 foot! Maybe not to go in that corner but to replace the other. Though I will definitely try it that corner because why not 🙃 Thanks for watching my video, Glory. And I hope to see you in my next one! 🥰
I don't see a kitchen video 😩
Hi Amber, are you referring to the home tour?? Did I not have any kitchen footage. Oh no. I'm sorry. But I know, in the living room video. I am in the kitchen, opening my new tea kettle, so you can get an idea of what the kitchen looks like in that video. Let me see if I can link that video here. th-cam.com/video/TtTksdgWA-o/w-d-xo.htmlsi=O3TupCmbsatAqBon Here's it is. And if I misunderstood your comment, let me know. Thanks for watching and I hope to see you in my next video! ❤️
@NonnasCleanGetaway i meant unpack and organize the kitchen. I've been hooked on your channel, love your videos ♡
LA to Georgia is quite a change….😀 keep decorating your new space! It will all fall into place!
Hi Terry! Oh my goodness, you're so right! That's why I'm still in LA...it's snowing in ATL again...it snowed last week. It's funny because my realtor and some of the locals said that it snows like every five years yet my son who bought a home there three years ago told me it snows at least once a year. It's supposed to be 80° here on Wednesday! And culture wise, it is so different there. But I love it! I will always be proud to be a Californian, and I hope to meet a lot of new friends. ❤️
LA to Georgia is quite a change….😀 keep decorating your new space! It will all fall into place!
Looks great 🎉
Carmen, thank you 🥰 And thank you for watching. I hope to see you in my next video! ❤️
That Xtra little room I personally would make it my reading room full of family pictures on the walls
That sounds cozy!! I need to get back in that room because I think I've seen it twice since we bought the house. So far what we're thinking is a game room because everyone in the family loves video games but me. And then I was wondering if it was big enough to make it my little gem. All I would need is a treadmill and maybe a weight bench with some weights. And a place to practice my yoga. But that room might be too angled of a room to do a gym. It might have to be for stationary type activities. I was curious what the walls would look like if they were mirrored. Might distort my depth perception while working out 🏋️ so you're going to have to stay tuned to see what we turn that room into! But I do love your idea! ❤️
I saying put one or the other behind the chair ! Lol Think we all have done this . New sub. here !
Hi Teresa, thank you for subscribing 🥳. Are you talking about a tree? I kind of have one behind the chair, it's in the corner of the dining room. There isn't a lot of space behind the chair. I have this really small black, round beverage table; you know the real small tables that are kind of popular right now? So I wanted to put it next to the chair, but I have two labradors, so I'm already imagining that table being knocked over when I ask them if they want to go outside and they dart to the back door. So that little area needs to fit two big dogs in action lol. Thank you for not making me feel like I'm crazy while I was overthinking. I am learning that so many other people do too. I think it's because we put so much heart and soul into our homes in hoping it looks perfect. And perfect for us! I had so much fun putting the living room together. I have so many ideas and two more rooms to do. It just needs to warm up so that I can go back. It was actually snowing there again today! On Wednesday, we're supposed to hit 80° here in LA. So as soon as Georgia can at least meet me in the middle of the two, I'm going back! Thanks for watching my video and I look forward to seeing you in my next one! ❤️
Agree maybe you should your tree on the side of the couch 🌻
I think you tree is too much in the corner with the same hight if the lamp , Too bad you can hang up a real plant you have the perfect light and window , you are doing a great job with your design 🌻🌻
Looking good 👍
I think the table needs something else
Love the French songs, your house is coming out beautiful 🤩
I Love to visit my sister in Georgia because of the thrift stores and Antiques shops
The tea kettle is adorable
Thanks, Kim. It makes my smile every time I look at it 😊 Thank you for watching and I will see you in my next video hopefully! ❤
Great job!
Thank you! I love having these videos to look back on. The hard really pays off! Cheers 🙂
Will you keep your Atlanta Georgia home if you love to Italy?
Hi Nellie, That's a good question. If my youngest stays in the ATL area, we'll definitely keep it. But our plan is to sell it when we retire in Italy. Our condo in LA will be our home-base. It has so many amenities that we could enjoy when we retire. And there wouldn't be a yard to have to take care of! It's hard to leave a house for several months, but the condo is such low maintenance. Thanks for a great question! Of course things can change. See you in my next video 😀
Raise mirror in dining room
Terry (that's my mom's name and Cooper was my first chocolate labs name ❤️), that's a good idea and easy to do! Thank you 🥰 i'm still on the hunt for the perfect dining room table and buffet so raising the mirror will be easy but make it look a little more formal/grand. Stay tuned! And thank you for watching 😃
I just found this channel…I think we are the same person….lol. Over thinker, want everything perfect.
Yep! I'm realizing we are not alone either! And we're constantly tweaking things, right?! But I find that I put things back because sometimes change is hard. Or I second-guess the change I made. It's a cycle 😏 But fun at the same time! See you in my next video 🥰
Are you a Virgo by chance? I am! ♍️
@@NonnasCleanGetaway no. Gemini
Oh my gosh, same. Bleach has to be very consciously used. I ruin everything. So satisfying to get the bathroom cleaned. Just the motivation i need, my whole house is covered in a thin layer of dust from the drywall process. He is almost finished, and I am so ready to clean! I love your music selections for this video.
Hi 😊 You're the third person to compliment my music selection. I probably spend too much time sifting through music to find something new and that I like. It's one of my favorite parts of editing but can also be frustrating an hour later. This is probably you since it's so me "I'm going to use the Clorox clean-up but be VERY CAREFUL", then after washing and drying my clothes I can see the damage. That just happened in Georgia, my favorite emerald green gold accent Lululemon hoodie! It was baggy and barely touched the top of the toilet seat 😫 I need to get some white scrubs for bleaching because nothing beats Clorox cleanup! That drywall dust travels everywhere, doesn't it?! Maybe dry dust with a vacuum head that has a brush. Hopefully you closed your library! I wouldn't let the dust stop me from renovating. Did you settle on a paint color yet? How exciting. You're moving quickly, it's only the middle of January! I have been running my air purifier on high, it's so loud, but the dust disappeared from my surfaces! I was amazed. But the sound in such a small space is annoying, I couldn't run it full time forever. I also bought a higher merv rating hvac filter because I'm curious if I will see a difference. I'm glad my video motivated you to start cleaning 😊 Thanks for watching ❤
@NonnasCleanGetaway I've meant to mention your music selections before, they're always good. I have totally said that to myself before using bleach!! Lol I have settled on my paint color pallet... most walls and bathrooms will be Behr Sculptures Clay, my husband's bourbon room will be (i think its Behr) Vine Leaf, our room might be the same Vine Leaf or a dramatic black 😮 Upstairs, the library is that beautiful golden color and I know I'm doing wallpaper in the craftroom just not sure which one yet. It just occurred to me I can share pictures now. I'll email so you can have a visual! I've wanted you to see what I've been trying to describe. Unfortunately the dust is in the library too, because the attic access is in the closet of this room, and that's where they enteted for the blow in insulation we had done and the bathroom with the drywall is next door. I'll get it clean, but not as clean as I want until it's done. When will you go back to Georgia? It seems like the fires are better but you know how the news moves on and stops reporting. I hope everything is getting better there. I imagine it just feels surreal. Look for pictures in your email 😀
I just checked out your paint colors, I would do those same colors in a house! They all go so well together and then with your sunflower library too. I think it's gonna be easy to find a wallpaper to complement all of those colors. How fun! I also want to do some wallpaper. I'm thinking in the laundry room! I am itching to go back to Georgia. I was going to come back to LA the end of February because I have a couple routine medical exams, I'm sure you can kind of figure out what those are and how they're important. 😜 so now I am thinking maybe I should just stay here in LA and go after those appointments. Or I can procrastinate the appointments and reschedule sometime later. Next week we're getting the fence fixed and the ash tree trimmed and possibly the fig tree cut down because it's growing into the powerlines and also the roots are already messing with the fence and it's only going to get worse. So after that's done, I want to put the backyard back together and plant some more grass seed. I couldn't leave with the backyard a mess. I love how your husband has a bourbon room and you have a library! My husband has always wanted a really big office because he has a lot of design ideas like 'turn his old childhood TV into a fish tank, put his old skis on the wall or he wants to make a coffee table out of them'... but now he has a whole condo with all of my design ideas, lol. Of all the things I did in the condo; the coffee table is his favorite because how it pops up so he can eat in front of the TV. I thought it would be the kitchen sink. My favorite is the new windows because of how quiet it is inside the condo now. Do you have any other big plans for inside the house this year? Or are you pretty much done? I know you want to get outside! There's two things that I want to do for sure to the new house. Redo the half bathroom and tile the laundry room floor. I want to do the classic, timeless black-and-white checkered tiles. If we could get to that bonus room off my granddaughter's bedroom, that would be awesome, but I feel like I need to get a feel for that room some more. I am so excited to see the pictures! I've created your house and what you've done so far in my head. 🤩 I'm definitely going to order some white scrubs! I've wanted some for years! So it hasn't been windy here at all since the windstorm we had. It's been very calm and just the past couple days, on the chilly side. We have rain in our forecast on Sunday. That should put the fires out completely, if it rains enough. And I hope it doesn't cause any landslides! We might drive to the Pacific Palisades tomorrow. I feel like this is something we need to see while it's still fresh. And why we would drive there and not Altadena is because Altadena, it's easier to set up roadblocks since it's your traditional type street grids. But then again, the Palisades might have roadblocks set up really well too. There's just so many ways in and out of all those areas and better excuses to need to go through. I'll be patiently waiting for your email. ❤ Have a good night!
Exelente trabajo luce muy bonito,su condominio muy limpio,Dios bendiga su vida gracias por compartir sus labores del dia es mucho trabajo.
Muchas gracias! ❤
Looks great! 👌
Thank you! Cheers! ❤
Thank God you are as well as can be. God bless 🙏
Thank you Dolores ❤ They've been saying since Thursday that we are going to have more Santa Ana winds, I'm so happy they've been wrong. Hopefully these fires get contained sooner than later. Thanks for watching 🥰
May God bless you too, Dolores ❤
Love the chunkier floor lamp and the tree.... just not next to each other. Love the choices in furniture and great tables and rugs. It takes time for it all to come together. But once the big pieces are in place, you can play with accessories and throws and pillows and decor, til it feels right. Enjoy the journey.
You're right, once you get the big pieces in place, everything else falls into place. And it might change several times, and will I ever say it's done?! I really enjoy this part of housekeeping...the decorating! And the treasure hunts to find gems! A try not to rush what can wait but nothing goes to waste. I'm sure my georgian son is going to get some hand-me-downs like my adult kids do in LA. Thanks for watching! And I'll see you in another video hopefully. 🥰
You’re probably gonna wish you kept that ceiling fan if you’re living in Georgia. I used to live in Georgia and it gets really hot and humid. My ceiling fan was a godsend lol. I think you’ve done a beautiful job and your house looks just lovely.
I kept the one in the living room so far. I replaced my grandson's with a smaller type ceiling fan, a fandelier. I haven't used the living room fan yet, we'll see if we use it next summer. I usually have my air conditioner at 72° all summer. So if that is not enough and I start using the ceiling fan, I definitely won't get rid of it. Thank you so much for watching my video and I'm glad that you like what I've done with the house so far. Stay tuned for many more videos! 🥰
Hi Nonna, i was thinking of you and I hope you and your family are all safe from the fires. It's just so hard to believe the levels of loss and destruction. My heart really goes out to this community. Meanwhile, your yard is just fabulous! Your hard work always pays off big. And no paper bags!! 😅 i hope you had great holidays. Did you get to see your husband? We're finally moving along, our contractor has been here a couple of days this week, and im hoping the upstairs bathroom will be done soon. I feel like Bill Murray in that What About Bob movie... we're baby steppin'. Lol. I hope to hear all is well with you. Take care!
Mia!! Hi! ❤ What a crazy last couple of days we've had! I read the warning on Monday, that we were gonna have Santa Ana wins, but I didn't think it was going to be almost 100 kn. and wildfires on top of it. I made it short of the damage in my backyard. I hope you find it! Last night, the condo got an evacuation order because there was a fire that started in the Hollywood Hills. It wasn't super close, but with the wind, it was unpredictable. The evacuation order was lifted at 7:30 this morning. As far as I know, only brush caught on fire. Fortunately the condo didn't have much wind because the mountain was blocking it. But the house!!? I don't even know how it's still standing. It was constant with strong gusts, if that makes sense. There were times I just had to close my eyes. I can't tell you how many times I thought 'OK, that was the worst gust'. And it was so loud! Several trees on my street and neighborhood are down. Luckily my two trees held on tight. The fences not so much. My fountain not at all. But all of that is nothing compared to those that lost their whole home or life. We're definitely counting our blessings. And then today everyone in LA got an alert to prepare to evacuate, it was an error. There was a new fire, Kenneth, and an arson was arrested. So that alert was meant for those near the new fire. I haven't really watched the news to see if anything's changed since then, but that was the last I heard. I just filmed a very boring clean my bathroom with me because you can't really do anything outside with the air quality. It's bad! And I will probably talk about the situation here in that video. But look for my short! I'm so glad you are moving forward again with your home projects. How exciting! I hope it gets done on the initial schedule. And they don't run into any snags. Are you just renovating it? Is that like a total gut and rebuild? Or just a light remodel? I want to redo the master bathroom at the new house. Not a lot, maybe just new vanities and new faucets, oh and a new toilet! I think the one in there now is super old. The inside of the tank is dark, but it's not dirty. And the toilet kind of wobbles. How's the weather where you are? It's supposed to snow at the house in Atlanta tomorrow! My flight was booked to South Africa, they were flying me there in one of the Q suites on Qatar Airlines. I was so excited, but then I got sick. It wasn't Covid, but I definitely was in no shape to fly. And since my husband was coming home in just 10 days, we were going to come home together, I canceled. I would've just rescheduled. I wouldn't doubt I caught something on the airplane going to Atlanta before South Africa. I probably should've just flown out of LA but I was desperate to cut down the journey, even if it was only by two hours. I'm hoping there's going to be a season three and I'm not planning to buy a third house so nothing will stand in the way for me going in the middle of while he's there instead of the tail end. How was your holiday season? And happy new year to you and yours! I hope 2025 is great! yet! In a few months you're going to get to play with your yards. I just heard now is the time to plant bushes, shrubs, and trees because they are in dormant. But how can anyone actually work in those temps! Plus, I hardly have a plan of what I want to do. I just want my backyard to be very French or Italian. Also, I'm thinking about replacing the fence around the new house so I should probably do that before I start planting stuff. Hurry up spring! Thanks for thinking of me and our community. You are so thoughtful and kind. ❤ Here's my email, feel free to use it and especially if something like this happens again and I don't come on to update you. Nonnascleangetaway@gmail.com I'll chat with you later, or see you in my next video. Just need to get it edited. 😊
@NonnasCleanGetaway those winds sound like what it feels like to be in a hurricane. I imagine it was incredibly scary. You know there isn't anything you can do but wait for it to end and that feels helpless. I'm glad it was just a fence and few other things. It can be fixed. I hate that you didn't get to take your trip to South Africa, what a bummer. I'm sure you're right about catching something on the plane. Smart decision to not travel and possibly feel worse though. Our holidays were so nice, we got to see all of our kids and grands. I have a new grandson born January 2nd, so that is a special way to start 2025. How about you? I hope you had a lot of time with everyone you love. I'm sure it was great just having your husband home. I agree hurry spring! We got about 3 inches of snow today. It's really pretty and I enjoy the peacefulness of a snowy day. My sister in law lives in Atlanta and they had snow today too! I can't wait to get to my backyard. We just had our trees trimmed up and the last 2 dying trees cut down, so we have a nearly blank canvas and I'm so excited! In other news, I decided to leave my job. There is so much to do with the house and i feel anxious about getting things done and working 8-5 every day. The house we bought is liveable but the kitchen, dining and bathrooms were all gutted when we bought it - that's why we got such a good deal. We thought I could do the things and get the house in order, but when I broke my wrist it changed my ability to lift and grip things. It's getting better but I just haven't been able. So the contractor is building the bathrooms from scratch. We have plumbing and electric but need our floors and walls to be done. The person we hired over the summer to do drywall did a horrible job and we actually didn't let him finish. So our contractor is fixing what he did... example he put drywall up and instead of removing a curtain holder he put drywall around it. Crazy things like that and he didn't know how to do the tape so its coming off. But Hopefully we'll have 2 complete bathrooms in a week and half. I'm going to be working on stripping trim and getting our room painted and finally unpack and organize my craft room and the sheds. I couldn't do these things when we moved because of my wrist. I can't wait to see how your garden in Atlanta turns out. I love the idea of a French or Italian look. I think that suits your house and will be beautiful. I'll email you so you have my email as well. Take care Nonna, talk soon.
Ues the black out jere looksxreallychic and dlegant lsired sith natirsl greendry of oitfoor plants vey nice indeed stylish simplicity luxurioy. ❤🎉🎉
Thank you ❤ Since this video, I installed a fountain here. It was practically destroyed in the windstorm so I need to redo this area as soon as the air is cleaner outside. We're going to try to stay inside until the fires are under control. Thank you so much for all of your feedback! I appreciate it. 😊
Thank you so much for all of your advice and tips. As I spend more time in this house, I will be making plenty of adjustments and upgrades. Figuring out what works and doesn't, and finding out my style, I'm just rolling with it. I definitely want to upgrade the dining room table as time permits. I appreciate the time you took to help me get this home just right! I hope that you have a wonderful new year and I'll see you in my next video. 😊
I would place a large mirror on the corner wall, end table with lamp and the tree fluffed up. It would reflect light and make it feel more open. Just a thought.
That's a good idea. I saw the nicest mirror at this consignment shop and took a picture of it because I really wanted it but didn't have a place for it yet. That would've been perfect for that spot! I should've listened to my gut and bought it. Thank you so much for the great idea! ❤
Hope you and your family are ok❤ There are terrible images we see on the news here in Norway, of the fire at your place😱🥺
Hi ❤ Thank you. Everyone is fine with my family. Our condo in the Hollywood hills was evacuated last night, but they got the fire out with no homes damaged from what i have seen. So scary.
Oh my gosh Nonna, the sky looks so eerie. I'm so thankful you and your family are all safe.
Again you are trying to match absolutely everyrhing up which is a big design mistske choose art that dpesks to you oerdonally instead of trying to maych up zll decor elements. Over matching things creates a dated tired look rather than a fresh energized look. Vlackout curtains in rhe bedroom yes for dleep but not living or dining toom that is not tasteful . Again plastic plants yo match your wall art is not on .. and.... Two trees on a small space definitely a no no . What is the purpose is it to fill dpace it is clutter. Get rid of the carpet altogether no catpet woth a fog dear Lord . Nicer to see nice wooden floors . Why do you want to natch plastic trees to wall art print. Its very very artificial and mskes the home look cheap. Its just clutter and dies not look cohedive or very nice. 😮
Perhaps at dome point in time later on you could try breaking up furrniture so that not everything does not match totally in each room but sekarate items arkund the house to give a lighter more consideted eclective feel. Dont jave more than one peice of any stule of furniture and devor. Be ecclective rsther than trying to match up everything. In this room use only one lpon that side board instead of two It is a huge step moving and unpacking to start with. A home is never fone it ebolves over years imaginatively Dont be do caught up in clutter as you are but kerp things dimple . Less is more be intrntional not distracted by too much clutter 😢dont unpack everything at once 🎉youre jumping around go dlowly cut fown on the plastic faux plants it cheapens the look of your home . Less is more .❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉 Give yourself time to relax into your new space and allow it to speak to you dlowly and grafually. Try not matching everything perfectly as that vibe has been lit of style for years now its a seventoes eighties rhing that is very fated and tired looking . Play around with your new home and have and enjoy this new time . Warmest wishes to you Nonna.
Excellent storm song. A dog without a bone.
..akso the vlock is a distrating out of place item in aiving room because this one dies mot tie in eith the oversl style it is wpuld be mire st jome in the kitchen asthetically. A smaller antiwue or wuirly interesting clock could ne functionsl ad aell S intentionally addong to your cursted look and atmosphere. Everything takes time . The tsll mirror against the eall behind the love seat looks out of proportion for that foace A long eide mirror with a side board underneath would make that dpace mote resolved or onstead of a mirror at all have another galleried wall with art , perhaps some more contemporary art to contrast to the antique art you already have or large printed lit black and white photos in black modern simple frames on thst wall only as an area of interest and contrast. You jave a lot of black in your house even black lampshades in rhe front entrance its a bit too repetitive birdering on matchy. Maybe antiwue brass lamps onstead of blavk shich sould teally look elegant and. Very stylish resting on the black console table. The chandelier is very beautiful and a focal point that introduced more elegance. Ceiling to floor light drsprs eould also bring this living room to another level ti compliment that elegant lux chandelier. You have a lovely home eith wonderful potential. Use teal plants onstead of faux as this lends more style and elegance as adds a warmer cosier feel to your space. Many best wishes gor a very happy new year in your new home.
Thank you so much for your comments. I appreciate the time you put into them. I would love to get an antique clock to replace the one I have there. I do tend to rush things, but I never waste anything. So if I do find a really nice, elegant, antique clock, I can move this one somewhere else. You have a lot of great ideas! As time goes by, and I spend more time at this home, any items that I don't absolutely love, but I love having something in that space, I can upgrade. I would prefer to have real plants and trees, but my cats tend to eat them. And I wouldn't say I have a green thumb! It sounds like you have a lot of experience decorating and designing homes. I appreciate your input. I hope you have a wonderful new year! ❤
I think the large wall space over the couch needs either a larger price of art or a galleried arrangement instead of a single picture. The TV over the mantle is very distracting and dominated as well as darkens the already dark accented furnishings in this room . It would be nicer to have the TV at a lower level over a long sideboard at the level or have a TV that when not in operation turns onto a lovely price of art itself in disguise. The plant looks better in it's new place . The darkness of the black sofas could be lightened with lighter creamier coloured natural fibred throws giving a more natural as well as luxurious quality to the overall feel and look of this room . Because it is quite a dark room it would be quite nice to add some lighter accents as in soft furnishings cushions nuetrals as well as patterned playing upon textures. Dark furniture dark vases etc is very heavy and masculine and this could be balanced with lighter neutrals ...candles . Drape. Ceiling to floor details as you continue to collect personal decor Mick marks and so on eclectically. It all Takes time . ❤❤❤🎉🎉. Best wishes for this new year 2025 and welcome to your new home happy settling in
Thank you for all your tips and feedback. It's appreciated! I'd love to get the very popular framed TV one day. I could always put this one upstairs in the potential space we might create a game room. I would like to add to the living room come spring. Maybe some light colored pillows and throws. I'm so ready for spring! I hope the new year is off to a great start for you! Happy 2025! Thanks for watching 😊
Wow! I use to have your energy. Wish I still did because I’m getting ready to buy a new home. I really enjoyed the video and what you have done so far. Look forward to more content. Take care.❤
Thank you! You can do it! When there is a will, there is a way! How exciting for you! The homebuying process sure is a roller coaster. I'm sure if you're like me, you're already imagining how you're going to arrange everything. It was so hard not to buy anything until we got the keys. If it's your second home, it's so fun because you get to start all over. I found a new love of antiques, but I'm very picky about the antiques, and our house in LA is mid-century modern so it's so much fun doing something totally different at this house. I don't even know what to call the style at the new house. I like French provincial and I also like farmhouse, but then I also like modern. So basically I'm just buying things that I like that go together. There will be many Georgia videos this year, I'm just waiting for the worst of winter to pass because I'm a California girl. It's way too cold there right now. In fact, it's supposed to snow at the house on Friday and I'm going to check in on my cameras and enjoy it lol. I hope to see you in my next video. Thank you again for such a nice compliment. ❤
I love your channel ♡!!! First time watching. Your taste is beautiful. I was laughing so hard because I overthink things all the time 😅 🤍.
Welcome!! ❤ i'm glad I could get you to laugh. I was genuinely laughing at myself when I was editing the video. I almost took that whole "overthinking" part out but I'm realizing I'm not the only one. It just goes to show how much heart and soul we put into our homes! Thanks for watching and yes, there will be a lot of Georgia videos this year. I am just waiting for the dead of winter to be over because I am a California girl. I just looked at my Weather app and it's supposed to snow at the house on Friday. I will enjoy seeing it from my cameras, in LA, lol. See you soon in another video ❤
Kaloriziko from Greece I would like to know about the chess teapot, where it is from and how much it costs. I would be grateful if you could answer me.
Hi Elana, It really is a beautiful tea pot! It's made by MacKenzie Childs. I got a link off Amazon for you since you're in Greece, perhaps you can find it. Here it is: amzn.to/40oSrrW You could also try their website, they might send internationally. I might have posted links in the description box for everything I could. And if I didn't, I will do that now. Thanks for watching! ❤
Loving your room makeover. 🥰. You could add lights in the two pot facing up. That would give you a small light source in its own spot.
Ohhhhh, like some mood lighting! Thanks for such a great idea, Dorothy ❤ The light would also accent the high ceilings. OK, I'm going to add two spotlights to my ongoing list of things to buy as soon as I get back to the house. Stay tuned for some more videos at the new house. I'm just waiting for a few more weeks of the middle of winter to pass. It's supposed to snow there on Friday! Thanks for watching and thanks again for the great idea! 😊
I always save the ribbon that come with the blankets and use them in crafting, little girls ties on their dresses, bows etc
Hi Celine, that's such a great idea! Thank you ❤
I wash my fussy soft throws in the washer, let it air dry. Then when it dry throw it in dry to fluff it up!
I finally washed them and I did what you do, I tossed it over the upstairs railing except I didn't fluff them up in the dryer. I'll try that next time. I could even throw in my wool balls with a little essential oil on them as well. I assume you just do it on air dry. Thanks for that tip!
Have you ever thought about putting turf around that large tree? Probably keep the dog’s paws a lot cleaner.
Hi Nancy, Before I added the border and mulch, it naturally had a ring around it of dirt so that's why I added the border and mulch, just to make it look a little tidier. The roots are so big that they extend way past my ring. There are even exposed roots 10-15 feet away from the tree, hidden by the grass. It's a monster of a tree but a beautiful monster. I'm anxious to buy mulch now because it really looks nice when it's added but we still have a while until all the leaves fall. The mulch is allways a mess from the dogs chasing the squirrels that run up the tree but it's manageable. If I were to remove the ring and mulch, it would be so much easier to maintain though. Right now I'm struggling with the dirty paws. Especially when the sprinklers have ran. I have thought about transitioning from a traditional green yard to a drought-friendly, low-water landscaping design. I appreciate you! I'll take all the advice I can get 😊
Sorry ❤Great job Nonna❤
Thank you Dolores 🥰 I hope you had a wonderful holiday season and your New Year is off to a great start!
❤ great job Nona❤
⛵️ 😊
Great job 👏
Thank you! Cheers! ❤
I had to sub! I loved all you did. The pops of color with the black is so beautiful and elegant. I take forever with getting things just right!!
Hi Karen, thank you for such a nice compliment 🥰 It came together better than I expected. The foyer doesn't feel done yet though. It doesn't feel right yet. I'm sure I'll play around with it next time I'm there. I'm glad I'm not alone with "it's gotta look & feel right" so I'll do what it takes until it does 😊 Thank you for subscribing. I'll see you in my next video. Happy New Year 🎊
Merry Christmas to you and your family! So sorry for the loss of your cousin. God Bless!
Thank you ❤ Merry Christmas
