Hi Karen, thank you for such a nice compliment 🥰 It came together better than I expected. The foyer doesn't feel done yet though. It doesn't feel right yet. I'm sure I'll play around with it next time I'm there. I'm glad I'm not alone with "it's gotta look & feel right" so I'll do what it takes until it does 😊 Thank you for subscribing. I'll see you in my next video. Happy New Year 🎊
Ohhhhh, like some mood lighting! Thanks for such a great idea, Dorothy ❤ The light would also accent the high ceilings. OK, I'm going to add two spotlights to my ongoing list of things to buy as soon as I get back to the house. Stay tuned for some more videos at the new house. I'm just waiting for a few more weeks of the middle of winter to pass. It's supposed to snow there on Friday! Thanks for watching and thanks again for the great idea! 😊
Definitely the long couch on the wall and the love seat on the walk way . Then your room will be more open. I wish I were your friend I would love to work with you, your home and deco items are beautiful❤️
You and me both! Yes, I am super curious now what it will look like. I will try it out and include it in another upcoming video. Thank you so much for that suggestion!
I finally washed them and I did what you do, I tossed it over the upstairs railing except I didn't fluff them up in the dryer. I'll try that next time. I could even throw in my wool balls with a little essential oil on them as well. I assume you just do it on air dry. Thanks for that tip!
Thank you!! 😊 I have no regrets with any of it. The rugs are a pain to vacuum because the vacuum literally sticks to the rug but worth it I suppose 😊 Thanks for watching and happy holidays ❤
Welcome!! ❤ i'm glad I could get you to laugh. I was genuinely laughing at myself when I was editing the video. I almost took that whole "overthinking" part out but I'm realizing I'm not the only one. It just goes to show how much heart and soul we put into our homes! Thanks for watching and yes, there will be a lot of Georgia videos this year. I am just waiting for the dead of winter to be over because I am a California girl. I just looked at my Weather app and it's supposed to snow at the house on Friday. I will enjoy seeing it from my cameras, in LA, lol. See you soon in another video ❤
Wow! I use to have your energy. Wish I still did because I’m getting ready to buy a new home. I really enjoyed the video and what you have done so far. Look forward to more content. Take care.❤
Thank you! You can do it! When there is a will, there is a way! How exciting for you! The homebuying process sure is a roller coaster. I'm sure if you're like me, you're already imagining how you're going to arrange everything. It was so hard not to buy anything until we got the keys. If it's your second home, it's so fun because you get to start all over. I found a new love of antiques, but I'm very picky about the antiques, and our house in LA is mid-century modern so it's so much fun doing something totally different at this house. I don't even know what to call the style at the new house. I like French provincial and I also like farmhouse, but then I also like modern. So basically I'm just buying things that I like that go together. There will be many Georgia videos this year, I'm just waiting for the worst of winter to pass because I'm a California girl. It's way too cold there right now. In fact, it's supposed to snow at the house on Friday and I'm going to check in on my cameras and enjoy it lol. I hope to see you in my next video. Thank you again for such a nice compliment. ❤
Don’t forget to put the three seat sofa on the long wall, and the two seat love seat on the small wall(balance in a room is everything) take care I care
I honestly think you should put the end table at the other end of the loveseat…put a lamp on it lower, and put the plant back there. Put the floor lamp at the other end. Just my opinion.
That's a great idea! It wouldn't be too hard for me to swap it to see how it looks and feels. Thanks for watching and I hope you're enjoying the holiday season. ❤
The reason I did the long couch like that is because it's on the long side of the rug 🤔 I plan on playing around with it when I get back, and with someone to help me. It's easy and quick with two people. 😊
New home, new opportunities ! Don't we love to plan and shop for bargins and unique accessories ? Decorating uniform, comfey PJ's, while a teapot boils on the stove. Thinking about friends and family visits. Your home is lovely. It's nice to have your daughters helpful hints. Have fun !
Thank you Bonnie 😊 You know the vibe! Friends and Family visits surely helps with motivating me to keep going. The upstairs still needs so much work but getting the downstairs in order felt so good. I hope you're enjoying the holiday season! Thank you for watching and I'll see you in my next video. ❤
Thank you! I get my music from epidemic sound so if there's a specific song you want me to check, I can get the name and artist. 😊 I really enjoy picking out the music. I hope you're enjoying the holiday season. I'll see you in my next video.
Long couch on the wall for sure... the lamp and tall plant didn't work together because they were too similar in size...table with a lamp would work better...floor lamp just competes with plant...keep up the good work!
I just stumbled on your channel and so glad I did! I think it all looks beautiful! I thought at 1st the dark furniture was going to be too dark, but you pulled it all together and I love it! Good job!
Welcome! I think because the room is so big and tall, so a lot of white walls, the dark works! I'm not sure if you watched my dining room video yet but the buffet that I got, I feel like it's way too dark. It's black with no texture. The furniture in the living room has some texture to it so I think that helps too. I'm on the hunt for the perfect buffet. Thank you so much for watching and your comment. 😊 I hope to see you in all of my videos; past and present ❤
Thank you! What's funny is the prior owner was clearly a bird lover because I've been getting bird watching magazines and she had quite a few birdfeeders throughout the yard! So it got me wondering, is it the energy in this house that is drawing me to love birds? I've had to stop myself from buying more birds because I don't want too much! So I am touched that you noticed ❤ I hope to see you in my next video! 😊
Colorful pillows would set that room off like pillows of white yellow, black and white, orange, etc. because your room still appear very dark. Brighter picture would help. But the rooms are cozy I must say. Good job and good taste on your part. Take care I care again
Thanks for your ideas ❤ I'm going to swap the sofas next time I'm there to see if it looks better. I'll hunt for some throw pillows on my next trip there as well. It's so hard to resist buying things I see here in LA for GA. I've already collected some items to take - that I just couldn't resist by any means 🥸 I love to read the comments for ideas, like yours! See you in my next video 😊
You just came up in my feed. Nice video. What a nice home. Those sofas are noice! Suggestion: Can you bring in some wood tones in? I know you just got new furniture but it’s really matchy matchy and dark. Some brown and rust colored velvet or distressed velvet type fabric pillows would do wonders as well as adding green to this palate. Are those trees in a warm colored baskets? The only pattern in your living room is the black and white checkered throw. Since that is a little whimsical, could you put up some less formal art in this space to support that choice or a wood type chess set? Or checkerd coasters or a checkerd tray with rattan rim. A kilm runner in browns and neutrals on the coffee table would be great. Vintage books with carved wood bookends on that sofa table.
Wow, you have some great ideas! Thank you so much. I have been thinking about brining in a wood tone as well. I don't know if I should match the floors or if I can get away with a new tone, maybe the same as the chairs? You are so right! I love the green accent color you suggested! Stay tuned with updates. I'm definitely going to be changing things up when I get back to GA. Thanks again ❤
Thanks! I'm thinking about putting some light curtains on the windows with the shutters. Just to soften up the space. I'd definitely do the same as in the breakfast nook and screened in porch. We'll see. I've got so much I want to do still. Our homes are always changing, right?! Keeps us busy and engaged ❤ Thanks for watching! 😊
You are correct. Two tall items together do not look good. Love the new lamp. Get a big plant that sits on the floor by your new lamp. Everything is looking good!
Thank you! 🤗 The frame looks even better in person; looks great on camera but in person it really is stunning! I'm obsessed and do love that I can stare at it from the sofa...and I didn't have quite enough time to stare at it before I left. 😊 Can't wait to get back! Thanks for watching ❤
Thanks Frances! Fun fact, my robot vacuum in LA, I named her Frances 7 years ago. She's such a great help! I haven't named my new one in Atlanta yet. Thanks for watching! See you in my next one. 🤗
1st time watching. Looks lovely! My only critique is to paint your wall vents above the love seat same colour as your walls to blend them in. All your choices are spot on!
Great suggestion! We recently had our condo painted and the painter did that. So I will definitely do that. I plan on taking all the registers out and washing them, which that big one on the living room wall, I might replace if it doesn't clean up well. The walls are alabaster white. It would be easier just to leave them that color to do touchup but I also got a paint sample called Paris Rain which is like a gray green. It's a very light color. But I also like the white walls! So many options. 😊
First time viewing your channel…. and what truly matters is how YOU feel in your space! Anything we viewers have to say should RESPECT that this is YOUR home❣️ That being said, as a professional stager for 19 years (who uses a lot of black btw), I would like to offer a suggestion…. because there is a lot of high contrast with an all black/dark furniture and rug selection against white walls, softening that stark contrast with rich, warm accessories (pillows, throws, wall art etc) will bring better balance and rhythm into your space ☺️ ~ if that’s helpful, wonderful! If not, don’t listen to me 🤣 ~ above all, ENJOY your home 🏡
Thank you so much for your time in replying. I really appreciate your input because you are a professional! I enjoy decorating, but I am the client, I can't imagine doing it professionally and for someone else. I'd be stressed. I have two labradors and so my thinking behind the darker rugs was to hide the dirt because as of right now the backyard is bare (dirt). And I really wanted a light gray sofa set, but I looked for about a month and then just settled on these. I will be on the lookout for some warm accessories. The living room, kitchen and dining rooms are painted alabaster. What would you suggest for the walls? Do you think that is a good white for the space? I had an electrician do some work so I definitely will be either retouching the paint or painting it all over. Thanks again 😊
First view of your channel. Nice to see someone else who "overthinks" when decorating. It is an art to make everything just right to the eye. How fun to watch you start from scratch on your getaway. Will be subscribing. So far you are doing fantastic. Remember you will probably be adjusting things as time goes on so enjoy the journey. 💖
First time watching and love your new home. I just had a suggestion with your tree since your ceilings are so tall can you get by with a taller pot like raise it a foot or so or it just too narrow to do that? Can't wait to see more! You have such good taste and I love the rugs.
Great idea!! I'll try that. I'm sure I can find something to get it propped up in the pot. I almost bought taller trees since I have tall ceilings but I was afraid it would make the space look smaller for some reason. I'm curious now 😊 Thank you ❤
Hi , this is the first time watching and I subscribed. Your living room turned out pretty. I overthink things too. It usually takes a few tries until I get it to where I like it. Thanks for sharing and looking forward to you decorating the rest of your home.⛵️
Welcome!! Thank you for subscribing. I'm glad I'm not the only one to overthink these small details. I have noticed stepping away from it helps. There are so many projects around the house that it's easy to work on something else for a while, then return. I'll be posting room by room. And outside! So stay tuned. Thanks for the sailboat too! ❤
That's a great idea! Definitely going to move it next time I'm there. It will be hidden, but still usable. I completed the closet under the stairs, so that was a perfect place for my Dyson! I'm so happy there's an outlet in there. Thank you so much for leaving me this comment. ❤
I live here in Georgia and the recycling situation is not the same in my area. We automatically get a garbage bin size recycling bin and you have the option to have an extra one. We can recycle everything except glass. There is a place we can take our glass to recycle.
That's what my electrician said as well, he lives a city over from me. I guess it depends where you live? I know Atlanta is better as well. I'm not used to choosing a garbage company and a gas company. In LA we just choose internet, everything else we just have one company for each service. The green waste (lawn clippings etc), we have to put it in an oversized brown paper bag in GA. You'll see the process in an upcoming video. It's a learning curve. I also have to get used to not putting glass in the recycling. It feels wrong putting glass in the garbage. I'll get a routine down to make trips to the recycling center. Thank for sharing what it's like in your neck of the woods. I've been learning so much about life there. ❤
Kaloriziko from Greece I would like to know about the chess teapot, where it is from and how much it costs. I would be grateful if you could answer me.
Hi Elana, It really is a beautiful tea pot! It's made by MacKenzie Childs. I got a link off Amazon for you since you're in Greece, perhaps you can find it. Here it is: amzn.to/40oSrrW You could also try their website, they might send internationally. I might have posted links in the description box for everything I could. And if I didn't, I will do that now. Thanks for watching! ❤
Hi Nona, I just watched your video and you were saying there were no Kirkland’s in Los Angeles. You’re correct but we do have Kirkland’s in the inland Empire such as Chino, Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana I believe Riverside possibly Moreno Valley so you don’t have to go all the way to Georgia for the nearest Kirkland’s to L.A.
Oh wow! I had no idea. I love that store so much. They have great sales and a great rewards program. I might have to make the drive to the inland empire next time I get an itch for home decor. Thanks so much for letting me know..and for watching my video ❤
No I didn't, unfortunately. I paid a pretty penny for it, with no regrets 😊 Wouldn't that be a great find?!? I love that you're a collector. Do you collect a certain theme? I accidentally ordered the sterling check umbrella stand instead of the courtly check, I almost kept it because it was so pretty! I returned it because I was set on matching my tea pot. I want to collect a few more of her pieces. I love her Christmas decor. ❤
Hi Nonna, i love all your treasures! Everything is coming together so nicely. Your living room looks so cozy. Your daughter made a good call. I have that same teapot!! She is beautiful! Lol. Mine has a red bird on the top. I wonder if it's a different size? How's your landscaping coming along?
Hi Mia, thank you so much. Something happened within me; I'm loving antiques and vintage stuff. The antiques store smell reminds me of when my mom and grandma would take us kids antique shopping for HOURS it seemed. I'm surprised they don't have a candle that smells like an antique store. Not that it really smells good though, lol. I'll have to look for the teapot with a red bird. That sounds cute too! I bought the jumbo size because it had the brass bird on top. When my daughter suggested putting that picture there I was afraid it would make the room feel cluttered but nope, it needed a picture there. I only have so much wall space but so many great pictures. I guess I could rotate them. Oh my gosh, the outside!?! Ummm, we have clay soil which I had no clue!! It's so hard just to dig a ten inch hole!! And that red clay color is strong! Now that I know about it, I notice it on everyone's houses. I did mostly finish the side yards but I ran out of time to do the front and the backyard. I was out there taking measurements of the backyard during twilight. It was on my list of things to do before I left. I got my list done though! I will try to plan out what I'm going to do back there. First thing I'm doing, which I'm almost done, is taking out the pine needles they use as ground cover here. I'm using mulch. I'll have to post my yard and garden video(s) soon. I'm playing catch up in LA right now so I'm hoping I can get that edited this weekend. The grands left to s. Korea for two weeks today so I'll have time on my hands. I was in GA for 5 weeks! I missed everyone so much! How are you? Are you going back to work? Any progress with your library? In my description box, there's a link for the canvas I bought...they also have a canvas of a lady sitting in a chair reading a book...I thought of you when I saw it. Thought it would be a nice picture for your library. Do you have any really old books?
@NonnasCleanGetaway you got so much done in 5 weeks! I hope you're taking a break or at least having a spa day. I'm doing pretty good, moving along with projects now that we've closed on our old house. I'm 95% done with the library. The paint color I picked is called Honey Tea by Behr. It's perfect with my dark bookshelves. I love it! I have a collection of vintage suitcases and they really pop with the paint color. I have about 20 more boxes of books to unpack and curtains to hang, then it will be the first done room. I start my job on Wednesday but I also got an offer for another job, so I'm in a delima. Other job would be so interesting and a big challenge (it's a 911 dispatch position), but the start time is dependent on when the state has the training. I need to decide by Monday. Time will tell. We have similar taste, I just realized the lamp you bought at Kirklands is the same as the lamps I have in our bedroom. Ours are the vintage oak color though. I hope you're enjoying your weekend !! Take care 😀
@@miareynolds8761 I just checked out the honey tea paint. Good choice! It truly is a honey tea color. And you're right, it's going to go so well with your bookshelves. And then all the colors of the books will sit nice with that color. You and I do have very similar taste! And I love that. The lamp was a little pricey, but totally worth it. I don't know about yours, but mine seems like it had some flaws, but it is what gives it so much character. It was the only one in the store so I couldn't compare it to another. I've only been home since Thursday and I'm already making a list of to-do's at the Georgia house. Even though I have a list here in LA, but that list is just the routine things that you do when you're gone for five weeks. So boring! The grands are visiting my son-in-laws family there. Everyone is getting older, so he wanted to introduce his grandparents to his new little family. And his parents were are already there visiting so they were so excited to welcome them. They are having a blast! I got to spend the evening with them before they left. We all finished a dozen donuts while they packed lol. They will be back for trick-or-treating! Congratulations on another job offer. That actually sounds like a very interesting position, but it may have an emotional toll on you. I think it takes a special person to do that job and maybe you are that special person! I'm sure that you are going to give it a lot of thought. Maybe there is a conversation about it on Reddit somewhere for you to get some insight to the job. There are so many things to consider before you fully commit to taking the new job, where as your old job you already know what it entails. You can ask yourself if you are looking for something different? Possibly more of a challenge? And will you be good at letting things go after every shift. Only you know those answers. It's always scary leaving a job. I hope you get clarity and direction for you to make the decision. It wouldn't be the end of the world if you decide you don't like it, at least you tried it! They always say magic happens outside of your comfort zone. I am going to be sending you some really good vibes to help with your decision-making! I am not good at decision-making and pressure. I have a hard time knowing what is my gut and what is my fear. Best of luck!! Maybe you've already made a decision but you still have one night to sleep on it, well two counting tomorrow night. So your first done room will be the library and mine is the living room. Even though there's still a few tweaks I wanna do. I don't think our houses are ever really done because I'm always changing things, I'm sure you do too. TTYL, and good luck 🤞❤
I just checked, it's safe 🎉 I really want to switch my stove out to gas eventually. The oven takes so long to preheat! All these appliances came with the house and they're all different brands which drive me crazy lol.
The end result is very cozy and you made the layout work. I was very skeptical at first. I think the rugs and mirrors are my favorite. I hope your TV is one of those that you can display art when not in use. Otherwise, I am not a fan of placing it above the fireplace which is the focal point of the room. I am an interior and floral designer and I am perhaps too critical of small details. Next time, invest in better quality of trees. The foyer is looking very nice. I think your house will be very lovely.
Thanks so much! 😊 I might get a couple more trees and then I can play around with the space. I love the fresh look trees give to a space. Yes, I actually plan on doing a DIY frame around my TV and maybe adding a light above it for it to look like Art. Although there is a light in the ceiling that points to the TV so the light above the TV would basically just be for looks. I appreciate your feedback! And I welcome it anytime. Thanks for watching and I hope to see you in my next video! 😊
Hi! I don't know the color of the wood floors but next time I am at Home Depot, I will get one of those brochures with floor colors and try to match it for you. I totally don't mind and I'm curious too. ❤ Thanks for watching!
@@silv-w7j Hi, so i found some samples that are very, very close to my floor color, grain, etc. www.flooranddecor.com/solid-hardwood-wood/gunstock-red-oak-smooth-solid-hardwood-100513829.html www.flooranddecor.com/solid-hardwood-wood/gunstock-select-red-oak-high-gloss-smooth-solid-hardwood-100467166.html www.flooranddecor.com/solid-hardwood-wood/gunstock-red-oak-smooth-solid-hardwood-100824333.html I hope you're enjoying the holiday season. See you in my next video 😊
You're right! It makes total sense. I did end up moving the tree to the other side of the love seat. This is good to know for any future snags. Thank you ❤
I tried your tip on a few items, it's working! I've been using less soap and about 2 tablespoon's of baking soda. Hopefully the more I wash, for example my throw blanket here in LA, the softer it will get. Thank you again ❤
Definitely! The end result, I put the tree next to a side table with a lamp on it. I wish I had known that in the beginning. The lamp and tree were competing! Thank you so much for your feedback. You were spot on! 😊
I love the picture with your furniture and rug. It goes beautifully together. The only suggestion I would make are those black and white blankets. The white is too stark with everything else that you have. I know you love them so my suggestion would be to put them in a wicker basket either on the bottom shelf of the sofa table or in that corner where you had the tree. They honestly ruin the vibe of your room. That’s all I see when I look at your room. It’s jarring. I don’t see anything else. Choose a warm color for a throw and pillows and you’ll see a big difference. Otherwise it’s beautiful!!!
Hi Karen, thanks for your feedback. I do plan on getting some new throw pillows and throw blanket that will tie in with everything better. The checkered blankets will be for good use! And I think the basket that I have on the bottom shelf of the sofa table would be good for that. I have got so many great suggestions and can't wait to get back to play some more! Thanks for watching and I hope to see you in my next video. 🥰
Everything came out beautifully! Just wanted to say that be mindful and for your safety don't show your license plate number because in today world you can't trust people that may be watching. I don't live to far from you in Gwinnett county moving to South Georgia but very familiar with fulton . Keep on sharing your videos.
That was actually a rental, lol. And I posted the video after I returned the rental. But I probably should've blurred it out because it wouldn't hurt to do it and you are right, you can never be too careful. I have to look to see how far you are away. I love Georgia! But California will always be home. The locals warn me of the summers, but they should be warning me of the winters. Because I love the heat and humidity in Georgia. And I love the rain in the summer! I can't wait for our first summer in the new house. I plan on sharing every room and the new house and outside! I have a lot of work to do in the backyard. Thank you so much for watching and again thank you for your great advice. See you in my next one! ❤
Thanks, unfortunately, I have to keep a darker rug because of two big dogs! And my backyard right now is dirt. I plan on working on the backyard early spring. Thanks for watching!
That would be fun but such a commitment. I tried to keep it somewhat neutral and a pet friendly material. I really wanted a light smokey grey but I couldn't find a set that would get to me in less than a month. I'm going to play around with an accent color to soften up the space. Thank you for the suggestion, and thanks for watching 😊
I think the large wall space over the couch needs either a larger price of art or a galleried arrangement instead of a single picture. The TV over the mantle is very distracting and dominated as well as darkens the already dark accented furnishings in this room . It would be nicer to have the TV at a lower level over a long sideboard at the level or have a TV that when not in operation turns onto a lovely price of art itself in disguise. The plant looks better in it's new place . The darkness of the black sofas could be lightened with lighter creamier coloured natural fibred throws giving a more natural as well as luxurious quality to the overall feel and look of this room . Because it is quite a dark room it would be quite nice to add some lighter accents as in soft furnishings cushions nuetrals as well as patterned playing upon textures. Dark furniture dark vases etc is very heavy and masculine and this could be balanced with lighter neutrals ...candles . Drape. Ceiling to floor details as you continue to collect personal decor Mick marks and so on eclectically. It all Takes time . ❤❤❤🎉🎉. Best wishes for this new year 2025 and welcome to your new home happy settling in
..akso the vlock is a distrating out of place item in aiving room because this one dies mot tie in eith the oversl style it is wpuld be mire st jome in the kitchen asthetically. A smaller antiwue or wuirly interesting clock could ne functionsl ad aell S intentionally addong to your cursted look and atmosphere. Everything takes time . The tsll mirror against the eall behind the love seat looks out of proportion for that foace A long eide mirror with a side board underneath would make that dpace mote resolved or onstead of a mirror at all have another galleried wall with art , perhaps some more contemporary art to contrast to the antique art you already have or large printed lit black and white photos in black modern simple frames on thst wall only as an area of interest and contrast. You jave a lot of black in your house even black lampshades in rhe front entrance its a bit too repetitive birdering on matchy. Maybe antiwue brass lamps onstead of blavk shich sould teally look elegant and. Very stylish resting on the black console table. The chandelier is very beautiful and a focal point that introduced more elegance. Ceiling to floor light drsprs eould also bring this living room to another level ti compliment that elegant lux chandelier. You have a lovely home eith wonderful potential. Use teal plants onstead of faux as this lends more style and elegance as adds a warmer cosier feel to your space. Many best wishes gor a very happy new year in your new home.
I had to sub! I loved all you did. The pops of color with the black is so beautiful and elegant. I take forever with getting things just right!!
Happy New Year 🎊
Loving your room makeover. 🥰. You could add lights in the two pot facing up. That would give you a small light source in its own spot.
I wash my fussy soft throws in the washer, let it air dry. Then when it dry throw it in dry to fluff it up!
I finally washed them and I did what you do, I tossed it over the upstairs railing except I didn't fluff them up in the dryer. I'll try that next time. I could even throw in my wool balls with a little essential oil on them as well. I assume you just do it on air dry. Thanks for that tip!
Love your furniture and rugs ❤. So gorgeous!
Thank you!! 😊 I have no regrets with any of it. The rugs are a pain to vacuum because the vacuum literally sticks to the rug but worth it I suppose 😊 Thanks for watching and happy holidays ❤
I love your channel ♡!!! First time watching. Your taste is beautiful. I was laughing so hard because I overthink things all the time 😅 🤍.
We do some of our best housework in pajamas! Ask any woman. Lovely home.
Love that!
That's going to be one of the first things I do when I get back. Great idea! Thanks for the suggestion 😊 I hope to see you in my next video. ❤
Great job 👏
Thank you! Cheers! ❤
Put the large couch against the wall and love seat in the open area to open up the room.
you’re literally my comfort person i love you kislux !
The home look very nice I can wait to see the finish ,thank you very much to share🥰
Thank you! 🤗
Wow, you did a great job, and the lg. couch did worked out in that side. ❤❤❤
Thank you! 🤗
Lovely, very calming . I also would love to know the background music, how soothing it is to me.
Thanks for the tips! I'm going to play with it all soon. I have appreciated all the input. Great minds think alike ❤
Pretty nice haul! Love those canisters with the bird top. I sense a theme here, when I saw the tea kettle. New subscriber.
The house looks incredible!
Thank you! ❤
The pictures were absolutely beautiful.
I am obsessed with it. I could stare at it all day. ❤
Stunning. I’m exhausted watching you do all this work. And it all came out perfect. You go girl😁
Thanks so much! 😊 You're so sweet ❤ Coffee, Alani, and Celsius kept me going 😅
Was Leary of so much grey, but your vision is perfect, really lovely👍
Thank you so much! ❤
Thanks again ❤
good job! home looks lovely.
Thank you! Cheers!
I think it’s the shutters on window. Makes tree look crowded. Beautiful tree.
Wow 🥹 look so amazing !! Love vibe ❤️
Thank you so much 🤗 ❤
You are correct. Two tall items together do not look good. Love the new lamp. Get a big plant that sits on the floor by your new lamp. Everything is looking good!
Great idea!! Perfect spot next to the window 😊Thanks for that tip ❤
❤lov the frame over the lov seat, beautiful home.😊
Thank you! 🤗 The frame looks even better in person; looks great on camera but in person it really is stunning! I'm obsessed and do love that I can stare at it from the sofa...and I didn't have quite enough time to stare at it before I left. 😊 Can't wait to get back! Thanks for watching ❤
Beautiful Home ❤❤❤❤
Thank you! 😊
It looks beautiful ❤❤❤
You're doing a great job actually maybe a small potted plant next to the lamp and move the plant on the opposite side of the sofa 👍❤️❤️❤️❤️
Looks gorgeous
I would get rid of the tree. The lamp is enough
Love your living room. I would plug your vacuum in the outlet in the corner where you put the floor lamp to hide it.
That's a great idea! Definitely going to move it next time I'm there. It will be hidden, but still usable. I completed the closet under the stairs, so that was a perfect place for my Dyson! I'm so happy there's an outlet in there. Thank you so much for leaving me this comment. ❤
I was struggling for you when you were putting the rug down. It’s a beast.
Thanks for sympathizing with me because it really is a beast. Takes way longer than it needs to lol 😂
It's beautiful. 😊
Thank you! 😊
First time watcher , happy to have found your channel .⛵️
Welcome aboard!
Here it is: amzn.to/40oSrrW
You could also try their website, they might send internationally. I might have posted links in the description box for everything I could. And if I didn't, I will do that now.
Thanks for watching! ❤
First time watching.I overthink to but usually just walk away for awhile. Then it starts to make sense.😅
That's great advice! Thank you for watching! ❤
Lovely. ❤
Thank you! 😊
Beautiful place 😊
Thanks for visiting ❤
New subscriber, absolutely beautyful house
Oh my gosh, you're so sweet, Elena. Thank you so much ❤ Have a great weekend 😊
The lamp and tree are competing with height that’s why it looks off to you. Put the tall lamp on the right leave the tree.
I am definitely going to switch things up. Thanks for the great idea. I will see you in my next video. ❤
⛵️ Hello from Ohio. First time watcher ❤️
Welcome!! And thanks for the sailboat ❤ I hope to see you in my next video 😊
So homey❤!!!
Thanks ❤❤
By no means did you thrift your McKenzie Child tea pot! I am a big collector of the brand!
@NonnasCleanGetaway
you got so much done in 5 weeks!
Take care 😀
@NonnasCleanGetaway oh, forgot to ask...what are the grands doing in S. Korea?
⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️Hello! Please make sure this gorgeous kettle is suitable for induction cooktops!❤❤❤❤❤❤
Is that what my cooktop is called? Lol. I have never had anything but gas so I thought it was electric. I will definitely check! Thank you so much 😘🥰
I just checked, it's safe 🎉 I really want to switch my stove out to gas eventually. The oven takes so long to preheat! All these appliances came with the house and they're all different brands which drive me crazy lol.
I always save the ribbon that come with the blankets and use them in crafting, little girls ties on their dresses, bows etc
Hi Celine, that's such a great idea! Thank you ❤
The end result is very cozy and you made the layout work.
Hi first time watching your video do you know the color of your wood floors?
Hi! I don't know the color of the wood floors but next time I am at Home Depot, I will get one of those brochures with floor colors and try to match it for you. I totally don't mind and I'm curious too. ❤ Thanks for watching!
@@NonnasCleanGetaway Thank you! that is very nice of you.
@@silv-w7j Hi, so i found some samples that are very, very close to my floor color, grain, etc.

My first sailboat! Thanks Lizzie. ❤
Tree and lamp are the same shap and size. Move the tree to a different space.
You need a table lamp by the tree instead of the floor lamp.
Definitely! The end result, I put the tree next to a side table with a lamp on it. I wish I had known that in the beginning. The lamp and tree were competing! Thank you so much for your feedback. You were spot on! 😊
Gosh take care with your back!!
You're right. I need to be more mindful of all my bending and lifting. I have been craving a good yoga session! ❤
👍🏼
Thanks Susan ❤
⛵️ 😊
The larger couch should go on the long wall. The short couch should be the one you see the back off. The room is unbalanced to me.
I'll have to try that out. Next time I have another adult with me because it would be super easy to try it. Thanks for the suggestion. ❤
⛵️
Too much laundry detergent. Put less and add some baking soda
Ohhh, I wonder if that will work on my older blankets as well? I'm going to try that when I have to wash these new blankets. Thanks for the tip! ❤
Tree and floor lamp are too close in height to work together in that corner.
Yep, you're right. Thanks for making it make sense. ❤
Nice but ... dark. (Maybe another color rug...)
Thanks, unfortunately, I have to keep a darker rug because of two big dogs! And my backyard right now is dirt. I plan on working on the backyard early spring. Thanks for watching!
Vacuum the bug up!
I couldn't 🫣 He was huge! I would've had to empty the vacuum which then he would've been way too close to me 😊
Should have bought red sofas…..too masculine with all the black!!!
Nice but generic.
In what way?
The tsll mirror against the eall behind the love seat looks out of proportion for that foace
A long eide mirror with a side board underneath would make that dpace mote resolved or onstead of a mirror at all have another galleried wall with art , perhaps some more contemporary art to contrast to the antique art you already have or large printed lit black and white photos in black modern simple frames on thst wall only as an area of interest and contrast.
