Love watching you put together your home. I can’t relate to knowing you are going to rearrange or redo your rooms. You have to live with a space for a while. Excited to see what you do. .
I didn't do any fall decor in GA. It was hard to shop, especially at Kirkland's, because of how much cute fall stuff they had out. I had to walk by mums at the market too. I knew they wouldn't stay alive on my porch. Next year, maybe! Thanks for watching and subbing ❤ i'll check out your channel!
Everything looks so warm and cozy! It's going to be so nice for your family. I just love it! You found some really great treasures again. I hope you're enjoying being back in LA. What projects are you working on there or are you getting prepared to go to South Africa? I bet your husband will be so happy to see you.
Hi Mia! Thank you ❤ I am really enjoying being back in LA! The grands get back tomorrow so I'm really looking forward to having them this weekend. I'm assuming I get them this weekend lol. My middle son and his wife moved into our house in LA. It just made more sense since I'm going to be spending more time in Atlanta and going to South Africa. They take care of our animals when I'm away so they've basically been living at our house since August so it just made more sense for them to move in. My trip to SA, I plan to make a pitstop, maybe in Amsterdam, and then to South Africa because I don't know if I can do 18 hours on an airplane! So it's probably going to be like a three week trip. At least! How cool would it be for me to maybe find some antique stores in Amsterdam! Paris is also a possibility for a pitstop. I've been busy making room for my son and his wife and then I was thinking about heading over to the condo and painting the laundry room closet and the master bedroom closet since I didn't have the painters do that. I have leftover paint and all the supplies to patch up some holes in the laundry closet, so why not. I'd feel better about the condo being done-done! I have so much footage from Atlanta, enough to do at least five more videos. I might film my work at the condo as well. It will help me with my motivation! It's looking like I'll be going to South Africa in December so maybe I have time for another trip to Atlanta. I cannot believe when I left Atlanta it was so cold, but it has been in the 80s since I left! And of course, no rain because I put some grass seed down! My son has been watering when he can. The last two days it's kind of been chilly in LA. But it was nice to come home to summer. An Indian summer! And South Africa just started their summer. So how are you? Did you start the new job or did you just stick with your old job? And how does it feel to be back at work in the new house? Did it change your commute? It's always so nice to hear from you. 🥰 I need to stay away from déjà vu and that antique store! There's only so many trinkets you can buy. As you heard, I'm really on the hunt for an old buffet or hutch. I know a lot of people find great things on Facebook marketplace but I'm not on any social media besides TH-cam. I was so excited because on "next-door", I found two 1960s twin bed frames that I put in my grandson's room! The 70+ year old lady that was selling them, those were her beds when she was young. I love that! And I'm not redoing them. They are in great shape! I told her I'd send a picture to her as soon as his room is done. I sensed she was happy they were going to a good home. I hope I can hit the jackpot with a hutch or a buffet like I did those. I'm just going to keep checking my go-to stores and maybe find some thrift store type places as well. Have a good night ❤
@NonnasCleanGetaway so many wonderful things are happening for you! I hope you have a great time with the grands. I'm sure they'll be happy to see you too. It's so good your son and his wife have moved in. I imagine it's a relief for you and gives you freedom to do what you need to do. I cannot wait to hear about your trip to SA and your stop over destinations. I've only been to the airport in Paris so I hope you go there. Although Amsterdam would be amazing too. I hope when you get to SA you get to explore. Have you been there before? So for me, I decided to stick with the first job and not pursue the 911 dispatch position. I've been working for a week now. I think I'll like the job, but the training is exhausting. It's work from home, so that's nice. I'm a homebody, so I like being in my own environment and creating the space I want to be in. That's a real plus for me. I feel like everything will finally fall into place around January. The big projects in the house should be wrapping up and the house will finally function like it should by then, and I should be more comfortable with my job then, too. I'm not the most patient person, so this is a real test. Lol. I'm not really on social media either, I treat Facebook like Pinterest. Lol. Plus it gives me access to FB marketplace. I've found some fun things and sold some things from the house on there. I hope you find your perfect buffet or hutch. The thrill of the hunt for treasures is so fun! I hope you're having a great week!
The job you chose sounds like it's perfect for you. Especially with winter approaching and you're still trying to get settled in the new house. You don't have to leave your warm home! Yes, the training on a new job is exhausting!! I hope you have someone who's kind and patient teaching you the ropes..that helps a ton! You're going to be in your groove in no time! You've got this! I'm also a homebody and impatient! My favorite days are being productive at home. Often times after my shower in the morning, I just put on another set of PJ's, lol. This will be my first time going to SA. We plan on doing a safari while I'm there. I've been all over Europe 10+ times, that's why I feel comfortable doing a pit stop by myself. Did you get a croissant or a baguette when you were at the airport in Paris? Happy Halloween 🎃
Perhaps at dome point in time later on you could try breaking up furrniture so that not everything does not match totally in each room but sekarate items arkund the house to give a lighter more consideted eclective feel. Dont jave more than one peice of any stule of furniture and devor. Be ecclective rsther than trying to match up everything. In this room use only one lpon that side board instead of two It is a huge step moving and unpacking to start with. A home is never fone it ebolves over years imaginatively Dont be do caught up in clutter as you are but kerp things dimple . Less is more be intrntional not distracted by too much clutter 😢dont unpack everything at once 🎉youre jumping around go dlowly cut fown on the plastic faux plants it cheapens the look of your home . Less is more .❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉 Give yourself time to relax into your new space and allow it to speak to you dlowly and grafually. Try not matching everything perfectly as that vibe has been lit of style for years now its a seventoes eighties rhing that is very fated and tired looking . Play around with your new home and have and enjoy this new time . Warmest wishes to you Nonna.

Oops. Sorry. I meant I can relate. I rearrange all the time.
So true! There's definitely going to be some updates down the road. Thanks for watching, and see you soon ❤

It looks nice. Perhaps a runner on the buffet to lighten it up some.
That's a great idea. Maybe a checkered? Or antique looking Tuscan type print?! It's going to be fun finding one. Thanks for the idea! ❤
Hi newly subscribed here! Dining room came out really! The black is sharp! I’m still in Fall mode on my channel! Nice to see everyday decor still!❤
