Started my new year off making the kids breakfast with my air pods in listening to my fav people 🩷🩷🩷 going on 2 months of sobriety after 7 years off/on struggling since I was 17. THANK YOU I LOVE YALL

So much of this was hard to listen through, it jumps around so much and she's so inconsistent with "yea I was using, no I wasn't" like which was it?? I understand why her tone is the way it is but dang guys this one was just rough and needed some refining, not to censor but just to make a cohesive story to listen to.

It’s crazy to me the fact that she keeps putting a lot of blame on the baby fathers how she couldn’t say no to the drugs cause she follows whoever she falls in love with to that’s why her sons teeth were rotten I totally understand this can happen to anyone just taking accountability that’s all those kids didn’t ask to come in this world

This was a hard watch with all the voice changes and random whispering, but nonetheless I appreciate you sharing your story. As you tell it more, which I hope you do, I hope you grow more comfortable and confident without all the theatrics.

Regarding social use: I think thats how it starts for most people. Once every couple of weeks, then every Friday night, then add Saturday's too, then "I'm such a fun and energetic Mom so I'll just do it on Saturdays during the day" and then you go home on your lunch break on a Tuesday and think "oh one little hit won't matter" 🤦‍♀️ also, people with ADHD are far more likely to have an addiction than a neurotypical person.

See I agree with hunter.. I've never had cravings or triggers for drugs.. I've craved numbing.. I've craved the lifestyle.. but whenever I craved those things.. music helps me

God doesn’t make bad things happen. He gives us free will, sometimes we make the wrong choices. If you believe there is a God then you have to remember that there is a devil and he comes to kill, steal and destroy. That is literally a verse in the Bible.

The way that woman actively blamed a little girl for her sons behavior, and perpetuated the “you’ll ruin his life” trope with the “he almost couldn’t go to college” is so fucking sad. We still have so much work to do. ALSO: who cares about her cadence or the voices she makes, it’s WHAT she is saying not HOW she is saying it. A lot of us make “jokes” or stress words to be able to get them out when they’re traumatic. I hope this was healing for her.

This is harm reduction, shame dies when we tell our stories. To all the people complaining about her tone, know how incredibly privileged you are to not have experienced any of her trauma. That’s the voice of resilience. If you’ve never had to talk about something that makes it feel like there’s hot coals in your throat, don’t criticize how she gets herself through this podcast.

Unbearable to listen to. Top 1 most annoying person. That voices she continues to make that she thinks is funny is really just always a let down lol. I kept waiting for a joke to land

The way she speaks makes this unbearable to listen too. I'm sure her story is very inspiring and interesting but I can't with the way she tells it. I lasted 12 minutes and I literally couldn't pay attention it was all I could focus on.
